Sensational singers Shallipopi and Odumodublvck are set to embark on a joint North American tour titled: ‘Nigeria’s most wanted’.

The singers took to their social media pages to unveil the tour schedule.

They also announced that presale tickets would be available from March 6, 2024. 

“Plutomanians, most wanted tour with my brother @Odumodublvck. Presale for our biggest fans start tomorrow . Save a spot,” Shallipopi wrote.

The tour, which is expected to be held in seven cities, will run from April 27 to May 27.

The North American run will kick start in Minneapolis at the Uptown Theater, it will then continue through arenas in Boston, New York City, Atlanta, Maryland, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston before concluding on May 27 in Dallas.

Shallipopi and Odumodublvck collaborated on ‘Cast’, the third track from the former’s debut album ‘Presido La Pluto’.

Davido’s logistics manager, Israel DMW and singer Shallipopi have survived a car accident.

Shallipopi on Saturday night held a concert in Abuja.

Israel, who was at the backstage to provide support for Shallipopi at the show, made this known on his Instagram story on Sunday.

Sharing the clip of the accident, Israel stated that it occurred as the duo was returning from the show in the early hours of Sunday.

“Me and Shalipopi, just had an accident, after a vehicle ran into us on our way back to the hotel after a show.

“I sat at the front seat, while Shali sat at the back. Thanks to God Almighty, thanks to Edo’s ancestors. No single scratch of injury at all,” he wrote.

Cherry Ozoalor, a female fan of Shallipopi, has demonstrated her affection by getting a tattoo of the singer’s name on her forehead.

In the viral video, the lady was discovered inside a posh tattoo shop in Lagos, Nigeria.

She took to her Instagram page to flaunt the inscription of the “Elon Musk” hitmaker in an obvious spot on her face.

The name was tattooed right over her left eye, creating a lasting mark on her body.

In her words: “This is Shallipopi on my head, they call me Pluto first lady.”

Afrobeats singer, Crown Uzama, popularly known as Shallipopi, has shared that he is afraid of falling in love due to his fragile heart.

He explained that his heart became fragile after a past lover broke it.

The ‘Cast’ crooner stated that he does not actively seek love because of his negative perception of this generation.

During a recent episode of The Receipts Podcast, Shallipopi declared: “I believe in love, but I’m hesitant to pursue it because of how things are in today’s society.

“My heart is fragile so if someone plays with it, I will cry. Someone broke my heart in the past. We were in a relationship, then something happened and we broke up. The fault wasn’t from me.”

Singer Crown Uzama, popularly known as Shallipopi, has revealed that he has never cheated on his partner.

The ‘Elon Musk’ hitmaker stated that he does not fancy dating multiple women simultaneously. 

He said this in a recent podcast interview with British media personality Madame Joyce.

Shallipopi said: “I have never been in a polygamous relationship. I stick to one woman if I am in a relationship.

“I can’t double date because you can get exposed easily. If you have a girlfriend, you love your girlfriend and you cheat, you will definitely be caught. I don’t cheat because I will be caught. “I have never cheated before. You can never catch me cheating. I have never done it.”

Singer Crown Uzama, popularly known as Shallipopi, has revealed how a 1994 Chinese Kung Fu comedy film, Shaolin Popey, inspired his stage name.

Speaking in a recent interview with British media personality, Madame Joyce, the singer disclosed that he attempted using his birth name, Crown, and nicknames like Drip Face as stage name before finally settling for Shallipopi.

He explained that he stumbled on the movie by accident while growing up, stressing that his mum bought a Tom and Jerry CD for them, saying it turned out to be the movie Shaolin Popey when they inserted it in their DVD player.

He said: “I was looking for [stage] name, so I was like let me coin something from the movie Shaolin Popey, that’s how I came up with my nickname.”

Singer Crown Uzama, popularly known as Shallipopi, has stated that Grammy-winning artist, Wizkid is his greatest source of inspiration.

The “Elon Musk” crooner revealed this in a recent UK conversation with well-known British podcaster, Madame Joyce.

Shallipopi said that although he tries to pick up certain tips from other musicians, Wizkid is the one who inspires him the most among them.

He expressed his excitement for the upcoming release of a song he co-wrote with Wizkid, eagerly anticipating everyone’s response upon its release.

Madame Joyce asked: “Is Wizkid an inspiration to you?”

Shallipopi replied: “Yes now, all the artists are, anywhere I am I pick something from them but Wizkid is like my biggest inspiration.”

Madame Joyce probed further: “What’s the vibe of the new song?”

Shallipopi: “The song has all kinds of vibe, the lover boy side, the f*K boy side, and the good boy side. The song will be released when Wizkid is ready.”

Singer Shallipopi whose real name is Crown Uzama, has recalled how he drank garri for 10 consecutive days because he was broke.

He said it was during that time that he began to reflect on his life.

He spoke in an interview with Hip Hop artist Odumodublvck in a recent episode of the Turntable podcast.

Odumodu inquired about the terrible occurrence that occurred before his rise to fame that inspired him to achieve success by all means necessary.

Shallipopi responded by saying that after drinking garri for ten days straight, he realized he needed to work hard to succeed in life.

“Make you just taste garri for like 10 straight days, then you go rethink your life. You go blow by force,” the 23-year-old singer said.
