    Singer Crown Uzama popularly known as Shallipopi has celebrated one year in the entertainment industry.

    He took to his Instagram story to celebrate his first anniversary upon attaining stardom.

    Sharing some pictures, the 23-year-old also appreciated Plutomania, his record label, for the support he has received.

    He wrote: “On this day last year, I blew up. Congrats to me on my 1 year in this MF industry Thank you always Plutomania’s.”

    Shallipopi, Odumodublvck announce joint North American tour

    Sensational singers Shallipopi and Odumodublvck are set to embark on a joint North American tour titled: ‘Nigeria’s most wanted’.

    The singers took to their social media pages to unveil the tour schedule.

    They also announced that presale tickets would be available from March 6, 2024. 

    “Plutomanians, most wanted tour with my brother @Odumodublvck. Presale for our biggest fans start tomorrow . Save a spot,” Shallipopi wrote.

    The tour, which is expected to be held in seven cities, will run from April 27 to May 27.

    The North American run will kick start in Minneapolis at the Uptown Theater, it will then continue through arenas in Boston, New York City, Atlanta, Maryland, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston before concluding on May 27 in Dallas.

    Davido’s logistics manager, Israel DMW and singer Shallipopi have survived a car accident.

    Shallipopi on Saturday night held a concert in Abuja.

    Israel, who was at the backstage to provide support for Shallipopi at the show, made this known on his Instagram story on Sunday.

    Sharing the clip of the accident, Israel stated that it occurred as the duo was returning from the show in the early hours of Sunday.

    “Me and Shalipopi, just had an accident, after a vehicle ran into us on our way back to the hotel after a show.

    Singer Crown Uzama, popularly known as Shallipopi, has revealed how a 1994 Chinese Kung Fu comedy film, Shaolin Popey, inspired his stage name.

    Speaking in a recent interview with British media personality, Madame Joyce, the singer disclosed that he attempted using his birth name, Crown, and nicknames like Drip Face as stage name before finally settling for Shallipopi.

    He explained that he stumbled on the movie by accident while growing up, stressing that his mum bought a Tom and Jerry CD for them, saying it turned out to be the movie Shaolin Popey when they inserted it in their DVD player.
