I’m tired of temporary connections, says Timini Egbuson

Actor and filmmaker, Timini Egbuson, has expressed his desire for meaningful, long-term connections.

In a recent interview with TVC, he shared his frustration with brief, superficial romantic encounters and attributed the prevalence of short-lived relationships to the influence of social media.

According to Timini, people often abandon relationships after being exposed to unrealistic expectations and misinformation online.

He emphasized the importance of focusing on genuine relationships and acknowledged that seeking meaningful connections can be a lonely process.

Timini stressed that relationships require effort and dedication to succeed, and he’s tired of temporary connections.

He believes that the constant stream of misinformation on social media can be damaging to relationships, causing people to prematurely end partnerships that may have potential.

He said: “Sometimes, it does get lonely. Because you’ve got everything and obviously, you’ve understood the power of the energy that’s surrounding your space, so you’re not just going to let any and anybody in.

“I am personally tired of temporary connections when you meet somebody and after getting to know them, they leave. It gets tiring.

“People are quick to leave relationships because we are in a woke generation now where there’s a lot of misinformation going on, on how a perfect relationship should be. Maybe your man is treating you right, then you go on TikTok and you see something like, ‘Seven Signs He Is Not Your Man’ and if it resonates with your reality a bit, you dump your relationship”.

Most women have monetised dating, says Timini Egbuson

Actor and producer Timini Egbuson has shared his thought on the dynamics of romantic relationships, particularly in the context of financial power.

In a recent interview with TVC, Egbuson argued that the monetisation of dating by many women has led to a situation where some financially stable men do not attach much value to women.

According to Egbuson, some women equate lavish spending with love, but he argued that this is not always the case.

He stated that wealthy men can afford to lavish gifts on multiple women, making it difficult to discern genuine affection.

“The nonchalant attitude of some men is because there are a lot of women accessible to them. You know, once you have money, you have a lot of options. And that is also because a lot of women have monetised dating.

“Some men know that when they spend lavishly on a lady, she would think they are in love with her. But that is not love because he’s a billionaire, he can afford to do the same thing for hundreds of girls,” he said.
