Each time top Nigerian singers, Tiwa Savage and Ayo Balogun, aka Wizkid, appear together in music videos, their suggestive mood usually triggers controversy.
First, their steamy romantic duet in Malo (don’t leave) recently sparked tales of a suspected amorous relationship between them among Nigerians on social media and entertainment circles. The controversy had barely died down when the duo again appeared in the visuals of Bad, another hit track by Wizkid.
The two singers have also been spotted together in clubs and public in recent times, thus heightening suspicion about their alleged romantic affair.
It will be recalled that Tiwa’s ex-husband Teebillz had in September this year debunked rumours about any amorous relationship between his estranged wife and the Ojuelegba crooner, in his Instagram post:
He had written: “Whether you like it or not, Ayo is my little brother and he knows not to cross me on blood Gang… My Big Homie Sauce kid aka Sinzu guaranteed me on that, even though he’s my blood. Don Jazzy will never allow that!”
However, Tiwa a few days ago again appeared in an intensely suggestive video of Wizkid’s Fever,where the songstress played the role of a vixen and did not sing throughout the four minute visuals.
The video, which went viral on the internet, has since generated reactions with comments from Nigerians, some of which opined that the video is far too suggestive about the rumoured affair between the two singers.
While others knocked Tiwa for suspectedly dating a younger Wizkid, some simply mocked her ex-husband for defending her in September, when the news of her alleged affair with Wizkid first hit town.

Just saw Tiwa and Wizkid’s Fever video. At 1st, I thought Tiwa featured on the song but alas! She never sang.
The video intentionally had Tiwa to cause controversy, but the chemistry looked more than just being professional

I still don’t think Wizkid & Tiwa are doing anything though, Proper PR stunt to keep mouths talking & Teebillz added more fuel to the gist. Is there any bigger story that would sell more than the Biggest Male & Female Acts in Africa Romancing? Think Not!!!

Teebillz had edible catering; Wizkid now used Tiwa as the stew in his own fever video.
Tiwa ha since responded to the reactions trailing the her appearance in the video, saying that her relationship status was not a community project .
In a message posted on her Instagram page on Wednesday via @tiwasavage, she said: “Your relationship does not need to make sense to anyone except you and your partner. It’s a relationship, not a community project.”
Meanwhile, Wizkid has hinted his fans of the release of another hit- Master Groove video. The announcement came barely 24 hours after the reactions trailing the singer’s Fever video.
Though the team lost the match 2-1 it did not remove anything from attention drawn by the jersey. In the first half when Eagles appeared not to have come to the party many took to the social media to imply that they were merely showcasing their new outfit.
The Laba-laba exponent is among the top entertainers expected to further garnish the fun that will be at the disposal of soccer fans when the world cup kick off in 10 days especially at some corporate viewing centres.
