POPULAR Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, is again in the news. But this time, it is not for any of her exploits in the entertainment industry. Rather, she is embroiled in allegations of not settling her debts.

According to gist circulating on social media, a lady had claimed that Tonto bought things from her and it turned out that the actress paid with a dud cheque.

Reacting to the allegation, Tonto denied she ever wrote a cheque. The actress though acknowledged that the person in question actually sold some items to her after ‘stalking’ her to buy, citing that she also sold to Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and other actresses.

“I succumbed to ordering some items from this young lady in a way to support her business,” the actress said.

However, she said that upon seeing the items the lady supplied, she discovered they were not of good quality.

“When I saw these things they were so fake,” she said. “I asked her to come back and take the items severally as it has been with my house manager. We have never tried to pay her and we never gave her no cheque.’

Promising not to buy anything and ensuring no celebrity buys anything from her, the actress also dropped a muched conversation between her and the seller on Instagram.

An online platform, www.trendyrammy.com, reported that the lady accusing Tonto of defaulting payments claimed the actress was aware that the bags were fake and still requested for them. The site put the sum involved at N192, 000.

The seller, identified as Pearl Chucks, had written to the actress, saying, “Dear @tontolet, thank you for pushing me beyond my comfort zone. I trusted you as a celebrity and gave you a Givenchy luggage bag and handbag with you promising you will pay. You couldn’t afford the original so you asked for the replica, you ordered March 8th, it was delivered March 20th, and you had to pay that day. It’s been over one month and it’s been story after story, you ignore my messages and calls, you claim your assistant was going to pay me, I called Peter and he said the cheque you gave him on the 8th bounced on the 10th.”

She also accused the actress of blocking her on Instagram and blasted the actress.

“I have lost respect for you as a woman and as a human. I will make sure everyone knows who you really are so you don’t go dupe another young girl, thank God I didn’t give you the authentic bags, if not where will I be? God sees all the devil we do and it will come back to you x10000. Repay my money. Let’s not forget the Moschino dress shirt and you just called to threaten me? That weed you are smoking is really making you delusional. You are a sorry excuse of a celebrity, when real celebrities and actresses call themselves, please remove you name from the list.’

However, despite the heat she is under, the sultry actress on Thursday, shared a picture of herself in the bath-tub.

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has finally revealed the identity of her lover, after months of keeping it secret.

Since last year, the controversial actress has been keeping the identity of her man under wraps, by referring to him as Mr X. However, earlier on Monday, she finally unveiled him when she posted his photograph on her Instagram page. In the past, she merely showed his faceless body.

She captioned the photo; “Happy new week Beautiful People. MEET MR X AND The CEO Bigchurch Entertainment, CEO Micro Micro Partners #GOD BLESS YOU MORE #MCM #MCM #MCM#.”

Though his real name is still a mystery, information has it that he goes by the name Churchill. And he is known to shower the actress with expensive gifts and lots of love.

In a similar post, Tonto’s best friend and stylist, Swanky Jerry reposted the photo of Mr X saying, “Thank you very much. Now, your fans can stop accusing me of being Mr X.”

Only recently, the actress was said to be involved with the CEO of Malivelihood, Micheal Awolaja.

During their time together, Awolaja showered Tonto with expensive gift such as customised diamond iPhones, Rolex watches  and more.

Many have seen what can be termed the wild side of Nollywood’s controversial actress and singer, Tonto Dikeh, but they are yet to experience her generous nature first hand.

Last week, the actress began the year with a charity tour, in which she offered scholarship to five kids, through her Tonto Dikeh Foundation.

Her first stop on January 1 was Jamido Children Orphanage, Ota, Ogun state. Aside presenting gift items to the home, she announced a four-year scholarship for the kids, while also celebrating with children born in the month of January durin g her visit.

For those who are not familiar with this aspect of Tonto’s life, it was also surprising, how she could also express soberness about the less privileged, when she posted a picture of herself on her Instagram with a touching caption from Whitney Houston’s popular song, Greatest Love of All.

She wrote: “I decided long ago never to walk in anyone’s shadows. If I fail, if I succeed, at least, I’ll live as I believe. No matter what they take from me; they can’t take away my dignity, because the greatest love of all is happening to me. I found the greatest love of all inside of me .The greatest love of all is easy to achieve; learning to love yourself. It is the greatest love of all… Now I understand the message preached by Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. May their souls rest in peace IJN.”

CASHING in on the 16-day activism against domestic violence which held in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital and other activities built around women, sensational Nollywood actress and singer, Tonto Dikeh, has spoken about her new found passion, the Tonto Dikeh Foundation.

The entertainer who addressed journalists at a media briefing in Lagos, Wednesday, at Citadel Hotel, Ikeja, noted that behind her elegance lies a philanthropic heart.

She disclosed that the foundation was floated four years ago in Liberia, with the aim to cater for abused women and girls with unwanted pregnancy, among other victims of molestations.

“At the Tonto Dikeh Foundation, we seek to provide for pregnant women who do not have antenatal care and provide them with adequate homes and charity centers. My aim is to touch the world and not just Nigeria. This is my own little way of thanking Nigerians for making me their star and showing them a totally different me from the Tonto they see on TV,” she said.

She also announced that a 16-day activism against domestic violence is being held in Port Harcourt, adding that other activities of the foundation for the yuletide season include visitations to Non-Governmental Organisations, clinics and schools, to endow scholarships.

“It’s a lot more I want to give to the society which has brought me thus far. I want to help as many as I can and if it will cost me drinking garri every day or cutting off my arm, I will do so to keep my pact with God,” Dikeh added.
