    ACTRESS Toyin Aimakhu is asking her fans, to allow sleeping dogs lie, despite pleas from them, asking her to go back to her husband.

    The actress who felt touched by her fans’ interest, concerning her well-being, said she is not ready to make any further mistake, and that she’s leaving everything in God’s hands.

    “If I don’t say this to my fans, then I will be an ingrate,” she said.

    “I have never seen or heard about any breakup and fans beg this much, but please let God take the wheels please. Some things are nice physically but not spiritually and some spiritually but not physically; God will lead me.

    “Let Him lead us please, I don’t want to make any mistake trying to please you fans. I really do appreciate the love and I’m sure he does too. If God says yes no man can ever say no and if He says no then no man can ever say yes…if I don’t acknowledge all your love, pleads and messages, then I will be an ingrate. I love u all from the bottom of my heart, please keep praying and supporting us.”

    The actress who left her husband, Adeniyi Johnson, few months to their second anniversary, recently announced a reality series which would focus on her everyday activities titled, Keeping up with Toyin Aimakhu.

    NOLLYWOOD actress Toyin Aimakhu seems to be getting back on track as she is beginning to reveal other parts of her skills as a professional actor.

    With the conclusion of her TV series, Iya Ibadan, which was recently released into the market, the actress has also dropped the footage of herself playing the role of an old woman; bringing her skills into display as she fluently speaks local typical Calabar English.

    Currently enjoying herself, the actress who is also in Okafor’s Law, the latest work of Omoni Oboli, in one of her posts earlier in the year, stated that, she had lots of projects lined up for the year.

    Born September 5, 1984, Toyin Aimakhu is a Nigerian film actress, filmmaker, director and producer who got married to Adeniyi Johnson in 2013. However, in a twist to their romance tale, both thespians parted ways a few months to their second wedding anniversary.

    In an encounter with a follower, ‘sonof_man’, the actress gave the hint that she just might be considering giving her marriage to her fellow actor, Niyi Johnson another try.

    Oluwatoyin if you reading this please I want to say if you feel you still Love him but you don’t want to go back it actually means you love him and I advise you, go back to him shame the devil, ignore what people will say. Be the first to correct the system running amongst celebrities. ‘Who said celebrities can’t have a good long lasting marriage? Correct the impression, be among the celebrities fighting to keep a good marriage… Permit me to call you sweetie, Sweetie, please go back to him. You will be shocked things will balance… We Love you and we’re praying for you. Keep smiling,” sonof_man nudged the actress.

    The actress, kept her response to the advice simple; “@sonof_man thanks alot sir”.

    Toyin seems to be taking out time to settle down too. A few months after leaving her husband who she claimed was unfaithful to her, Toyin posted a lengthy and heartfelt note to the public, hinting that she may have made a wrong decision. The actress however, is currently taking a vacation abroad, and is said to be having a nice time.

    She also has lots of activities lined up for the year; like her skits which she has been uploading on various social networks. She also harbours plans to have a project for the youths. Also, the actress has been having various photo shoots to promote her works for the year.

    In the face of regular criticisms, Nollywood actress and estranged wife of popular actor Omoniyi Johnson, Toyin Aimakhu, has said that despite being a public figure, she is also human.

    “Doing our job doesn’t mean we are useless or irresponsible,” the actress noted, saying she should not be criticised all the time.

    “Anything you do I do, you fight, I fight, you eat, I eat, you abuse, I abuse, you go to club, I follow you; people just take advantage because we are in the limelight. We have blood running through our veins – One love and happy New Year.”

    2016 seems to have started on a good note for the actress, who since late 2015 started giving gifts to her fans in appreciation.

    Aimakhu who revealed she is going on a holiday after a busy 2015, is set to spend time with some of her fans in a giveaway project which she tagged ‘Couples Giveaway’.

    Aimakhu who has also trimmed down from a size 16 to 10, stated: “I’m giving out Vouchers worth N25, 000 to 10 of my Amazing Followers. This covers their accommodation, food and drinks, photo session for the couple and makeup for Lucky Woman for a night at Oldtown Hotel.  Another Special 10 of my followers would win special invites to party with me at the Oldtown Hotel for the Astro Bar relaunch party on January Friday 8th.

    “Also Recharge Cards to another 10 of my followers. I have good news I’m sharing with you all soon, God said to me, Toyin, continue to worship me and I will make you happy and He’s doing it,” she added.

    NOLLYWOOD actress, Toyin Aimakhu, the wife of cross-over actor Adeniyi Johnson, is ending the year, by giving back to her fans, whom she says, helped her get to where she is today.  The actress revealed that she will be giving out shopping vouchers, recharge cards, and free admission into her academy in the New Year.

    “Guess what, we still have 40 give away. I’m going to be having phone conversation/chat with 10 of my fans, I’m gonna party with 10 of my fans on the 8th of January.  I’m gonna admit five of my fans into Toyin Aimakhu Film Academy for free, I’m gonna send give out free recharge cards to 10 of my fans and lastly I’m gonna give five of my fans with kids from 1yr to 5years free vouchers to shop @_starrs1… Like I said without God and you (my fans) there is no me, just my own little way of saying thank you, I love and appreciate everyone of you…please keep following,” she posted online.

    The actress is currently on the set of Fehintola Olobi, a movie produced by her colleague, Ronke Oshodi Oke. The movie also stars Funsho Adeolu, and will be released later this year.

    As fans continue to make comments on the purported failed marriage between Nollywood actress, Toyin Aimhaku and her husband, Niyi Johnson, the latter, moved by some aspersions cast on his wife on the social media, has pleaded with fans to spare his wife of any blame on this issue, taking responsibility for the troubles in their two-year-old marriage.

    Johnson who posted his concerns on Instagram, urged fans to rather plead with his wife and direct their anger and insults at him. He said Aimhaku should not be blamed for going public about their marriage troubles, as she was merely pouring out her feelings.

    He ssaid: “To clear the air of the recent happenings… I ADENIYI JOHNSON is at fault and not my wife… she reacted according to her pains and we all have different ways of reactions… I beg everyone to please stop throwing banters and insults… you can channel all anger and grievances towards me and not her…. instead of abuses, I would rather BEG you to join me in apologising to my darling, lovely and adorable wife… OLUTOYIN I’M DEEPLY SORRY PLEASE….. I promise to make things right…. I don’t want a broken home…”

    This is not the first time the couple would go their separate ways on account of differences they have continued to keep secret.

    It is always sad to see another Nollywood marriage bite the dust, this time in the home of Yoruba actress Toyin Aimakhu. After a series of rumours about the eminent crash of her marriage, the Auchi, Edo state born actress, who previously used to go by the name Toyin Aimakhu –Johnson on instagram recently made an about face by deleting all her husband’s photos from her page, and reverting to her maiden name. Saying that she is now “Miss Aimakhu”.

    The actress, who was heavily pregnant at her 2013 wedding to actor Adeniyi Johnson, which held at the Oriental hotel, is yet to hear the patter of tiny feet in their home, prior to the recent breakup rumour.

    The crash of the barely two-year-old marriage seems to have set tongues wagging as fans decried the inability of many actors to keep their marriages. The marriage had been bedeviled by rumours of Adeniyi’s philandering.

    Nollywood couple, Toyin Aimakhu and Adeniyi Johnson celebrate their second wedding anniversary yesterday.

    They made headlines recently with rumours of break-up. And perhaps to show that they are really still together, their second anniversary provided the opportunity, as the Tinsel star and his actress wife both took to their Instagram page to renew their affection for each other.

    Toyin wrote: “It has been two spectacular years with my Rib and I bless the Lord everyday for sending me such a good, patient, loving and good hearted man. Marriage is a lot of work and commitment, it isn’t easy but you are doing your best to continue to make it work and I pray that the good Lord gives us grace to celebrate many more years together.

    “I love you my husband, God knew exactly what He was doing when He sent you to me and may God continue to give you all that makes a man a real man. Thanks to you all for your support, love and prayers during the good times and the time of challenges. God bless us. Happy wedding Anniversary Okomi,” she added.

    Toyin Aimakhu makes debut in English language movie

    Exploring new frontiers, Yoruba movie actress, Toyin Aimakhu, has landed her first role in an English language movie, starring alongside If I Dance singer, Tekno Miles. The popular actress is currently on set of the movie which is titled Super Star.

    The upcoming movie also stars comedian Ushbebe and veteran actress Rachel Oniga. The movie is produced by Tony Abulu who produced the 2013 Nigerian movie Doctor Bello.

    Toyin, who plays Tekno’s mum in the movie made headlines recently when rumours of separation from her actor husband, Niyi Johnson emerged.
