    In an Instagram post, Uriel described the journey as “the most challenging, heartbreaking, and rewarding experience” of her life. 

    She highlighted the daily struggles and intense emotions that come with caring for a loved one with dementia.

    Uriel emphasised the importance of love in navigating this complex and emotional journey. 

    “Caring for someone with dementia – especially when that person is my mother – is the most challenging, heartbreaking, and rewarding experience. Each day brings new hurdles and deep emotions, yet we face them with love. In the end, love becomes both our strength and our solace,”  she wrote.

    Reality TV personality Uriel Oputa has warned social media users against accepting relationship advice from BBNaija past contestants as many are not worthy of them.

    Her response comes after co-reality star, Rachel Edward stated that women should leave partners who won’t buy them a car. 

    “If he has no intention of buying you a car, leave him!!!,” she wrote.

    Uriel emphasised the dangers of entitlement, urging women to focus on personal growth and gratitude rather than material expectations.

    On Instagram, Uriel wrote: “No offence some BBN girls Should not be giving relationship advice. Ladies, the beginning of your downfall is when entitlement creeps in. When you become a constant receiver without gratitude or the ability to recognize what you’ve been given, you lose the power to grow. 

    “True wisdom lies in acknowledging what you receive, using it to elevate yourself, and sharing that knowledge to become a better person. Entitlement is
    the greatest form of bondage —know this, and you will be free.”

      Former Big Brother Naija housemate Uriel Oputa has taken a bold stance against societal double standards in relationships, calling out the hypocrisy in how society views relationships between older women and younger men versus older men and younger women.

      She argued that women who date younger men are often subjected to age shaming and rejection, while men who date younger women are praised and accepted.

      Uriel emphasised that as long as both parties are of legal age, their relationship choices should be respected and not judged.

      She believed that love knows no age and that people’s readiness for settlement varies, regardless of age.

      She wrote on her Instagram story: “When women Date younger men They get age shamed and rejected. When a man Dates a younger woman The younger woman gets called a Gold digger The man is praised and accepted. Look!! if both parties are of legal age Leave them alone. Love is love.Love is love. I know some 35 to 43 year old men who aren’t ready to settle down. I know a 28 year old man married. As long as both parties are of legal age Let people live”. 

      Uriel encouraged people to focus on mutual respect, consent, and happiness in relationships, rather than judgment and societal expectations.

      “Stop judging others. Life isn’t straight forward like that,” she added.

      She further stated that people assume she is single because she does not write about her relationships online, adding that even if she marries, no one will know about it.

      According to Uriel, the internet is full of toxicity, hence, she will not subject her husband to any form of criticism or backlash from the public.

      She emphasised  that she will never post about her husband when she gets married.

      “People assume I’m single because I don’t post about my relationship. Listen, I’m old school, even if I marry, you guys won’t know. I’ve seen the wickedness the internet spews, I won’t subject any man I love to that. Let me collect in peace”, she wrote.

      Former Big Brother Naija housemate Uriel Oputa has shared her ordeal while shopping recently as she lamented the cost of living in Nigeria.

      She stated between December and now, the cost of her shower gel increased from N4,000 to N9,000.

      She claimed that she never looks up prices when shopping, but following her recent experience, she had to ask the cashier to take some products off her cart.

      Reality TV star, Uriel Oputa, has shared her satisfaction about being a British citizen in response to skit maker OGB Recent’s advice for non-millionaire Nigerians.

      The Nation reported that OGB Recent over the weekend revealed that those who haven’t made it in life financially shouldn’t be sleeping at night.

      In response to his remarks, Uriel conveyed her delight in being both a Nigerian and a British citizen.

      Uriel also said that being half British is a blessing because Nigerians have an innate tendency to pressure others until they begin to question their beliefs.

      She expressed her views on the tendency of many Nigerians to stereotype and categorize individuals.

      She encouraged them to travel more for broader exposure and a diversified perspective, cautioning against narrow-mindedness.

      Big Brother Naija reality star, Uriel Oputa, has spoken on she turned down many filmmakers pitching for her acting prowess in their movies.

      She stated that the Nollywood industry doesn’t pay well, which further discouraged her. 

      According to Uriel, some Nollywood actresses are not better role interpreters than her.

      Speaking in a recent interview on Cool FM, Uriel said: “A lot of filmmakers have approached me to be in movies. I get asked to be in movies all the time; in my DM, email, I get approached to be an actress.

      “And I know that I’m a very good actress. I am probably better than some of the actresses in Nollywood right now. And that’s me being real. Apart from having a natural artiste instinct, I studied drama in the UK. So, I know that I’m quite a good actor.

      “I’ve been approached by a lot of people to get into acting but I’ve always turned them down. The reason I turned down gigs for acting in Nigeria is because, one, you’re always going to be stereotyped into a role; two, some of the scripts are a bit too predictable; and three, the filmmakers don’t pay well.”

      She noted that God has been so good to her even though she felt like she messed up her chances after leaving the Big Brother Naija ‘All Stars’ show.

      The businesswoman, who spent three weeks on the show, stated that God said that was all she needed.
