TheLead Magazine investiture and awards has been slated for Thursday at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Exhibition Centre Hall in Alausa, Ikeja.
Awardees include the Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Abiodun Ige Adams, who had been voted the publication’s 2018 Man of the Year, and Primate Ayodele of INRI Spiritual Evangelical Church, who would receive Prestigious Leadership Award for his commitment towards nation building through his prophetic evangelism.
Gani, who is the chairman of the event, will be joined by Prof. Bamidele Badejo, the dean of Faculty of Environmental Studies, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State, to deliver a paper on intermodal transportation and its benefits to the Nigerian maritime sector.
Other speakers at the event include the chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Lagos State Council, Dr Qasim Akinreti, and foremost maritime consultant and trade procedure expert, Lucky Amiwero, National President of Council of Managing Directors of Licensed Customs Agents.
A statement by the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of TheLead Publications, publisher of TheLead Magazine and TheLead Online, Ajibola Abayomi, reads: “We are proud of our readers, contacts and associates for the support. Other dignitaries to be honored include Princess Adekemi Adesanya- Eboda, the National President and Global Co-ordinator of Women and Youths Supports for Atiku popularly known as “WAYS 4 Atiku”; former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly Wahab Jokotade Pelumi, and former member of the House of Representatives Lanre Odubote; Adebiyi Philips, founder of Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ), among others.
