Three arraigned for ‘stealing’ goats in Ebonyi

Three men have been arraigned before an Abakaliki Magistrate Court in Ebonyi State for allegedly stealling two goats and fish.

The names of the three suspected thieves are Mbam Oliver, Mbam Igbogu and Chukwuemeka Nwovu.

They were araigned by police on charges of stealing, burglary, felony and conspiracy.

The suspects were said to committed the offences on November 3, 2019 at Igidiagbo Okpotumo community in the Abakaliki Local Government Area of the state.

The accused were alleged to have broken into the house of one Mr Godwin Nwogbaga, and stole his two goats. It was also alleged that they burgled the house of one Mrs Cecilia Nwaji, whom they robbed, of her fish.
