Benue State Deputy Governor Benson Abounu has revealed that three medical doctors, two drivers and one health worker attached to the state COVID 19 team have tested positive to the dreaded virus.
Abounu, who doubled as the chairman of COVID-19 Emergency Committee, said the victims are in isolation centres and responding to treatment.

He explained that the victims contracted the virus in the course of their services to the committee, which has two isolation centres in Benue State University and Federal Medical Centres in Makurdi.
The deputy governor said the state would soon get a COVID-19 mobile testing centre as a drastic way of expanding the net for detection of cases.
