Titcombe old students give back to alma mater

The 1980 set of the old students of Titcombe College, Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area, Kogi State has announced a programme of homecoming to their former school after 40 years.

The programme scheduled to hold from October 2nd to 4th, 2020 will, among others, feature the commissioning of a standard sick bay built and equipped by the old students in the sum of N4 million.

The commissioning exercise will be performed by a former Chief of Naval Staff and old student of the school, Rear Admiral S.O. Afolayan (rtd).

The project, which was started by the old students 10 months ago, is aimed at providing standard first aid and basic health care for the students at no cost.

In a statement, the spokesperson for the set, Pastor David Moritiwon, stated that apart from the sickbay commissioning, other programmes lined up include: career talk for the students, medical check-up and health talk for the old students, thank-you awards for the principal and vice principal during their period in the school, and a gala night to celebrate their reunion.
