Nigeria’s D’Tigers will begin their medal quest at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games when they take on Australia at the Saitama Super Arena on Sunday morning.
The Preliminary Round Group 3 encounter will kick-off at 9.20 am Nigeria time.
Australia beat D’Tigers 108-69 in a pre-Olympic exhibition game on July 14 in Las Vegas, United States of America.
D’Tigers will be boosted by their wins against world number one USA and Argentina in pre-Olympic exhibition games.
Head coach Mike Brown will look up to the likes of Josh Okogie , Jahlil Okafor and Jordan Nworah to help his side claim a famous win against the Boomers.
Nigeria will also face Italy and Germany in the group.
