Ugwuanyi calls for prayers

GOVERNOR Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State in his Easter message has called for Nigerians and Enugu residents to be more dedicated to the worship of God. He gave thanks to various religious groups, leaders for their continued support, urging Ndi Enugu to “celebrate this Easter in supplications to God and to observe various guidelines and directives released for the prevention of further spread of COVID-19.

Stating that Enugu is in the hands of God, he urged the people cooperate with the government, adding that his administration is not unmindful of the difficulties and inconveniences the measures present and stressing that they are undoubtedly in the best public interest.

He also commends the 17 local government councils, stakeholders, political leaders, others, for complementing state government’s efforts in awareness campaigns and palliatives to rural communities.
