GOVERNOR Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu state has insisted on a thorough investigation into controversial reports linking Jigawa index case to Enugu State.
The governor is not leaving anything to chance in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic in the state.
Initial reports in some sections of the Media claimed that the Jigawa index had a travel history with Enugu.
But the report was later debunked by both the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and Kano state Ministry of Health.
The governor who has been on his toes since two cases were confirmed positive in the state has vowed not to relent and ordered a thorough investigation regarding the report until total success is achieved.
