Former Kano Commissioner for Works, Engr. Muazu Magaji, who celebrated the death of Abba Kyari, late Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, has tested positive for COVID-19.

Magaji took to his Facebook to express joy over the passage of Kyari, who died of coronavirus, declaring ‘Nigeria is free’.

He was sacked by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, on April for “making improper comments” on Kyari’s death.

But Magaji denied he celebrated Kyari’s death, saying “people only misunderstod me.”
