Musical artist and entrepreneur, Uwagboe Gabriel, has advised Nigerians to use their face masks as the second wave of COVID 19 spreads.
He said using face masks is not a death sentence but precaution to save lives.
He gave the advice in Benin during a recent dinner he hosted his friends.
Uwagboe said COVID 19 pandemic could be curtailed if people adhere to the established protocols.
“We should not endanger our lives, because of carelessness. If everyone can be dedicated to observing the needed protocols, the rate of deaths will not skyrocket as currently seen.
“The number of casualties is high, and we must get our acts right. We have lost friends and family members due to the rising surge.
“We are in the hands of God. We are hopeful that the situation of high deaths won’t continue if everything is done right, Gabriel stated.
Speaking further, he charged that: “Our safety is in our hands, we should take it as a serious business, as there is no second life to live.”
