A higher institution in Benin Republic, ESTG University of Cotonou, has honoured a traditional ruler in Wasinmi, Ogun State, Oba Emmanuel Osuntogun, with an honorary doctoral degree (Honoris Causa) in Leadership/Community Development and Support towards educational growth.
The award, according to the Registrar, Wasiu, Igbalaye, was part of the institution’s goals to honour and appreciate people of goodwill.
Oba Osuntogun thanked the institution.
He urged the students to be change agents, good citizens, good neighbours and good friends in the community.
