A renowned actor, Toyosi Arigbabuwo, who featured in many Yoruba home videos among whom are Ogborielemosho and Bashorun Gaa is dead .
He died at his residence located at Ile-Alli area along the Apete-Arola Road in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
A family source confirmed the death of the veteran Yoruba actor to our reporter .
The family source said that Arigbabuwo died on Monday evening in his house.
The source, who confirmed the incident, added that the deceased has been sick for over six months until his demise.
He said: “He has been sick for over six months ago. He has been sick for close to a year now.
“He died yesterday. He died at his residence yesterday night,” the source confirmed.
Arigbabuwo, apart from acting, dedicated part of his life to the promotion of Islamic religion, especially in Ido Local Government Area where he lived until his death.
Until his death, he was the Public Relations Officer of the Muslim Community in Apete-Awotan-Ayegun and environs in Ido Local Government Area of Oyo state.
Chairman, Muslim Community in Apete-Awotan-Ayegun and environs, Alhaji Abdulwaheed Amoo also confirmed the death.
Amoo, in a telephone conversation with this reporter, added that the veteran Yoruba actor dedicated part of his life to Islam despite his busy schedules.

He said: “Yes he died yesterday. He died as a devout Muslim. Despite his busy schedules, he dedicated part of his life to Islam.
“We usually have meeting every fortnight, he was usually present at our meeting on Thursdays.
“He was the Public Relations Officer of the Apete-Awotan-Ayegun Muslim community until he died. He was a humble person.
“The last information available to me is that he would he buried at 12.00pm today ( Tuesday) at Muslim cemetery located at Onigbaketun, along the Apete-Awotan-Akufo Road”.
