A SENIOR Advocate of Nigeria (NBA) Mr Damian Dodo has affirmed his commitment to the candidacy of Mr. Dele Adesina (SAN) as the next Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) president.
Dodo said Adesina’s antecedents made him the best man to lead the Bar.
He spoke when Adesina and his campaign team visited him at his Abuja office.
Dodo said: “This is the time for Mr. Dele Adesina (SAN) to lead and serve the Bar; his track record and respect for the tradition of the Bar makes him the best candidate to provide leadership for the association at the moment.”
He noted that when Adesina stepped down for Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN) in 2008 in obedience to Egbe Amofin’s resolution, “you made us proud even though was a very painful experience then.
Dodo added: “You have paid your dues and your track record as the General Secretary of the NBA is there for all to see.
“You have the capacity, institutional memory and clout to provide us leadership now and I support you in this project.”
