The police in Nasarawa State have arrested Usman Danladi for allegedly cutting off the left hand of one Jibrin Abdullahi.

The suspect said he attacked Abdullahi for assaulting his girlfriend.

“Upon interrogation, the suspect confessed to the commission of the crime but claimed the victim earlier assaulted his girlfriend (Aisha) and when he confronted him, a fight ensued, and in the process, he attacked the victim with a machete,” police spokesman Ramhan Nansel said in statement. Abdullahi’s left hand was completely severed from the wrist.
