A RESIDING Bishop of Rhema Christian Church and Towers, Ota in Ogun State, Bishop Taiwo Akinola, said the world is in crisis because mankind has abandoned God.
He said human beings no longer allow God to dictate their ways of life.
Akinola spoke yesterday during the church’s 31st Anniversary Lecture.

“Our God is the Almighty God… just being religious and knowing there is God is not enough. Even the devil knows this… every believer should know who God really is so that we won’t rank ourselves among those who worship the unknown God,” he said.
God, he said, responds to genuine worship offered to Him from a heart that worships Him in spirit and truth.
“The pertinent question to ask is: “What is the difference between genuine and counterfeit worship… people today are not really different from people thousands of years ago, especially when doubting God and being disloyal to Him…” Bishop Akinola said.
