Winners share $5000 in Infinix challenge

Infinix Mobility, Africa’s premium smartphone brand, has rewarded winners in the Style by InfinixS5 challenge with  $5,000 wardrobe allowance.

Five winners were selected at the end of the five week-long competition, with each winner walking away with $1000 wardrobe allowance.

The Infinix S5 challenge was started in November last year, after the launch of the  S5 which is the latest of the Infinix S collection.

The Public Relations Manager, Infinix Mobility Limited, Seyi Ajibogere, said the device, as a trendy-looking device with powerful AI Quad Cameras that are able to deliver brilliant smartphone photography, will redefine the industry.

He said Infinix devices are widely known for their fashionable outlook that appeals to young smartphone users. “The brandplaces emphasis on its use of fashion elements to accentuate the premium looks of its devices and make it stand out amongst others.

Hence, the challenge was centered on contestant’s ability to make outstanding fashion statement, capture their unique outfits through the eyes of their smartphone cameras and share with others across social media platforms,” Ajibogere said, adding that tons of entries were received during the Infinix S5 challenge and after weeks of voting by viewers, friends, and fashion enthusiasts the winners have finally emerged

Over the years, Ajibogere said Infinix Mobility has organised several activities that have allowed users to express themselves in different ways, some through music, others through creative writing and now these lucky winners have also been able to express themselves in the way that they know best – fashion.

In a highly competitive landscape such as the Nigerian smartphone market, it is easy for smartphone brands to get overwhelmed by activities focused on meeting sales target and earning the larger share of the market.

It is however, interesting, that the company is able to yet, manage several activities like this, totally focused on supporting customers interest, whilst maintaining a higher echelon status amongst competitors.

The brand customers get to enjoy more than just smartphones; they also get to benefit from initiatives like this. It’s no wonder Infinix continues to enjoy the unwavering support of its customers.
