A 74-year old woman has cried out for help over threats to her life.

Madam Emiola Jegede travails started when her son – Kayode Adekunle Jegede allegedly refused to give in her daughters for circumcision in line with the tradition of “Abogunde Diety” in the family.

One Chief Tunde Welly Ologbodiyan who is known to be the head of the family is alleged by Madam Emiola Jegede to have masterminded coordinated assaults and inflicted injuries on her on two occasions.

Meanwhile, Mr Kayode Adekunle Jegede and family have also been reportedly attacked several times in their home.

However, the fear of being killed made Mr Kayode Adekunle Jegede ran out of the country with his wife and children to seek safety.

The old woman recounted that several reports made to security agencies have not yielded any positive result as she is being continuously molested because her son and the grand daughters are said to have moved out of the country for the fear that the daughters might be forced for circumcision.
