‘Women have entrepreneurial capacity’

AB Microfinance Bank has said women, which constitute over 60 per cent of its customer base, have shown great entrepreneurial acumen in growing their businesses through facilities granted by the bank.

Chief Business Officer of the bank, Mr. Pawel Wodz, made this known during the weekend, at an event organised by the bank to celebrate the global International Women’s Day (IWD).

He said the bank recognises the contributions of women to the nation’s economic development.

The event, which attracted women from various walks of life, including music legend Onyeka Onwenu, Managing Partner, Prosperar Consulting, Ms. Modupe Ladipo, also had some of the bank’s female customers and employees in attendance.
