The National Network of Entrepreneurial Women (NNEW) will on Tuesday and Wednesday hold a summit on entrepreneur.

Tagged “Commitment to Excellence,” President of the NNEW, Funmilayo Arowogun, at a briefing at NECA House, Ikeja, said the event was to equip women with the right information that will prepare and empower them to take specific steps towards planning their future.

She said: “This summit will help participants come up with what it takes to have the will to win, the desire to succeed and the urge to reach their full potential. To be excellent in business, women need to be at the cutting edge of their industry, own the space and not be apologetic for being leaders in their sectors. Our businesses must be resilient and agile enough to adopt to change quickly. We must leverage technology and innovation in service delivery. Business is no longer the same.

“To attend the event are top government functionaries whose role’ play great impact in private businesses. The conference is not only for NNEW members but for all women who desire to be successful in their endeavours and the fees is highly subsidized considering the location, refreshments and other items to be given to participants.”  The Chairperson Organising Committee, Bukky Adeyemi reiterated the group’s commitment to seeing women at the peak of excellence in their businesses.

“There is a lot to gain in attending the summit; the theme of the summit is commitment of excellence. What it means is that we want our women to commit their business to excellence and we want to achieve that by bringing speakers from around the world; so we are going to learn from their experiences”, she said
