The deputy national Secretary and leader of the anti-Oshiomhole National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Victor Giadom on Thursday said the March 17 Emergency National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the party will hold as scheduled.
Addressing newsmen at the party Secretariat in Abuja after the factional NWC meeting, Giadom claimed ignorant of the Lagos Federal High Court order on the inclusion of some leaders in the NEC meeting.
Giadom told newsmen that members of NEC have been contacted and are prepared to attend the meeting.
When asked if the party was aware of a court ruling that directed the NEC meeting may be invalid without the presence of Chief Abiola Ajumobi, Arc. Waziri Bulama and Paul Chukwuma. Gaidom simply answered, “Not to my knowledge”.
But he quickly added that, “We will like to see the court order and if that happens we refer back to our Constitution. We will take it up from that point.”
