The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society of Nigeria (NASFAT) has urged the Federal and State Governments to create enabling environment for youth across the nation to thrive.
It said this became necessary to rid the country out of crime that jobless youths may be attracted to.
Speaking in Ibadan at a briefing to commemorate 16th NASFAT Youth Conference tagged: “Digital economy and youth entrepreneurship: Breaking new ground”, NASFAT National Youth Secretary, Kabir Raji and the conference chairman, Abdullahi Lasisi urged President Bola Tinubu and Governor Seyi Makinde and other political office holders to priotise youth empowerment particularly in area of the digital economy.
Raji, while delivering his speech, noted that this year’s conference was aimed to equip young ones to excel in all areas of human endeavour with necessary tools and knowledge to succeed in the digital age.
He said: “NASFAT youth conference has made substantial impact on the lives of countless young individuals. It has done that through mentorship, guidance and impactful community projects like free medical tests, community cleanup and public awareness campaigns on critical issues. The conference has served as a pillar of support and growth for many youths nationwide.”
“Building on the solid foundation laid by previous conferences, this year’s edition promises to be even more impactful. NASFAT aims to strengthen its efforts in empowering the youth to use the opportunities in the digital economy, which is rapidly transforming industries worldwide.”
Lasisi also urged the youths to channel their energies and resources towards nation-building and shun all forms of vices that are inimical to the growth, stability and socio-economic development of Nigeria.
He advised the youths to also use their vantage position positively to be self-reliant and employable without waiting for government work.
The youth conference, which includes free medical tests, community clean-up and public awareness campaign on important issues, has been instrumental in providing mentorship, guidance, and organizing community projects that make a difference.
The Rice Processors Association of Nigeria (RIPAN) has accused economic saboteurs of attempting to cause confusion in the country.
A video showing customs officers reopening the Idiroko Border in April 2022 went viral this week on social media platforms.
The recirculation, according to RIPAN, was to give the notion that the federal government had just approved the resumption of import and export via Idiroko.
A statement on Friday by the Director General Andy Ekwelem advised the general public to ignore misinformation and stay on the lookout.
“It is essential that we bring this information to remind everyone of the importance of staying vigilant and not be misled by sensational news trends,” it reads.
“The Rice Processors Association of Nigeria (RIPAN) suspects that some enemies of Nigeria’s economy are behind the circulation of an old video.
“The individuals/groups seek to undermine the new government and promote illegal activities such as rice smuggling from Benin Republic, Niger Republic and Cameroon for personal gain.
“We urge the government and stakeholders to avoid falling prey to the machinations of those trying to sabotage the economy and exploit our big brotherly role within the sub-region.
“We encourage Nigerians to report any smuggling activity and other acts that may undermine the progress of our agricultural sector to the Nigeria Customs Service.
“We must all work together to build a stronger economy that benefits the people. RIPAN is dedicated to supporting the efforts of the federal government to improve food security.”
In his clarification, Customs Public Relations Officer, Abubakar Maiwada explained that the country presently has no closed border.
“All major borders are open. The video showing the Idiroko border opening is an old video that a mischief maker repackaged to create a wrong narrative,” he said.
The Forum of Commissioners for Finance of Nigeria has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for removing fuel subsidy.
The outgoing Chairman of the Forum, David Olofu, gave the commendation at a valedictory session for Commissioners for Finance of Nigeria on Thursday night in Abuja.
Olofu, who is the immediate past Commissioner for Finance and Economic Planning, Benue State, however called on the Federal Government to ensure that all accruals from the removal of fuel subsidy should be paid into the Federation Account.
While commending Tinubu on the removal of subsidy, Olofu said, as finance experts, the Forum, like other Nigerians, had long yearned for it.
“We will like to sincerely commend the President for having that political will to do that, first day in office.
“That is what we had been yearning for. He came, his first day in office, he was able to achieve that which we have always asked for,” Olofu said.
On how the President should manage the funds from subsidy removal, Olofu said that the Constitution provides for all federation revenues to go into the federation account.
“Nobody has any authority whatsoever to deduct any amount from the federation revenue.
“So, I will align myself with the position of the Constitution and recommend that all the accruals go into the federation account and let it be disbursed from the federation account,” he said.
He said, however, the Federal Government should come up with policies and programmes that could address the challenges Nigerians are currently facing as a result of increase in the pump price of fuel due to the removal of subsidy.
“I believe that the President has the capacity and knowledge to be able to do that decisively.
“He has already started it by proposing a wage increase for workers but that has to be done alongside with sub-nationals, because the sub-nationals have the bulk of civil servants in this country.
“I believe he is on track but, apart from wage increase, we also have to look at issues of infrastructure because we believe strongly that if we can wrap up infrastructure in this country, it will also help to improve the living standard and bring down the cost of living,” he said.
Olofu appealed to Nigerians to be patient saying, the long term benefits of what has been done by the President far outweighs the short term pains people were going through.
President Bola Tinubu will address the nation on Monday, June 12, in commemoration of Democracy Day, the Federal Government announced on Friday.
Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, who disclosed this on Friday while addressing a world press conference in Abuja, also unveiled a two-item programme for this year’s Democracy Day.
According to Akume, this year’s celebration would be kept low-key, owing to the fact that the nation just came out of an elaborate Presidential Inauguration Programme.
“It is important to note that the Democracy Day has been reviewed to be celebrated annually from May, 29 to June 12 to honour the heroes who championed the struggle and made extra-ordinary sacrifice for the enthronement of the democratic rule in Nigeria from 1999 till date.
“However, May 29 remains the date or anniversary of handing over or taking over of power, and this happens every four (4) years according to the Nigerian Constitution.
“To commemorate this year’s anniversary, it is expedient for citizens and foreigners alike to take stock of how the nation has fared so far and assess the dividends that Democracy has ensued as well as areas where we need to make improvements. It is in light of this that the theme of this year’s Democracy celebration is ‘Hope Reassured’.
“It is pertinent to state that having had an elaborate Presidential inauguration this year, activities to mark the 2023 June 12, Democracy Day will be low key with the following two major activities:
Nigerian comedian, Franchez D Funny Man has announced plans to host a list of top comedians including Kenny Blaq, Acapella, Forever and others in his annual comedy show tagged ‘FRANCHEZ D FUNNYMAN 4.0’ which is coming up in Enugu on the 29th of October and in Abuja on the 26th of November.
The comedy merchant spoke to newsmen about the show which he plans will hold in 3 major cities in the country which he listed as Enugu, Abuja and Lagos but first in Independence Layout Enugu and at the D Base Event Landmark, Abuja. He explained that the show was put together to create an environment for relaxation for families, in his own words “The pressure in society is so much and there is a lot of demand on people these days and these demands are driving people crazy. This show was also created to showcase comic talents in the southeast since the major focus is in the West”
Recall that his last show had a massive turnout of guests and witnessed a rib-cracking performance from Award-winning comedian, AY and other big names in the industry.
Meanwhile while revealing what to expect from this year’s edition which promises to be mind-blowing, Franchez D funnyman noted that he would be performing for an hour on stage to his guest and fans also adding that comedians across the geopolitical zones of Nigeria will take turns to perform and a top Nigerian musician will be performing.
Ahead of the inauguration of the 10th Senate on Tuesday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has appealed to the All Progressives Congress (APC) Senators-elect to abide by the zoning of leadership positions announced by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party.
Tinubu made the call at a meeting with APC Senators-Elect on Wednesday night in Abuja, according to a statement by the Akpabio/Jibrin Media Team.
The APC last month zoned the position of Senate President to the South-South with Senator Godswill Akpabio as the preferred candidate and Senator Jubrin Barau from North West preferred as deputy Senate President.
Addressing over 40 APC Senators-elect led by Senator Akpabio at the Aso Rock Villa Wednesday night, President Tinubu appealed to all APC Senators-elect to toe the line of the party’s zoning arrangement in electing their Presiding Officers stressing “this is the right thing to do in support of the Renewed Hope agenda” of his administration.
“At this point of our history and challenges facing us as a new administration, all hands must be on deck to salvage the unpalatable situation facing the nation. We must see the situation as a pan-Nigerian Project for the Executive and the Legislature to work out solutions to the challenges of the nation,” he told the Senators-elect.
Tinubu said: “The task ahead to finding solutions to the myriads of national problems cannot come from the Executive arm of government alone but by the working together of the Executive and the Legislature.”
He added that Senators-elect should reach out and pass the appeal to other APC Senators-elect unavoidably absent to toe the party line and put a leash on all personal ambition in favour of party programme and national interest.
“Talk to your colleagues that are not here to toe the party line and give the Renewed Hope agenda a chance to succeed. The elephant is big enough for all members and indeed Nigerians to have a share of the Renewed Hope in due course,” he said.
At the meeting, which lasted late into the night, Akpabio, once again, congratulated the President on the successful presidential inauguration.
He said that since the party announced the zoning arrangements for the leadership of the National Assembly, majority of the party’s Senators-elect, led by him and Senator Jibrin, have reached out to other APC Senators-elect and those from the opposition political parties with positive result and pledge of support.
Welcome to our official website, where you can discover the exciting world of bet online play aviator game and have the chance to win real money at online casinos and other authorized betting sites. Aviator has gained immense popularity among players due to its thrilling gameplay and the potential to earn substantial rewards. With high multipliers reaching up to x100 and beyond, even a modest bet of $5 can lead to a significant payout of $500 or more.
What’s the Point of the Aviator Game?
The Aviator Valor Bet Game puts you in the shoes of a daring pilot, and your earnings are determined by the altitude to which the plane rises. The higher the plane goes, the higher the multiplier that multiplies your bet. The objective of the game is to cash out your winnings before the plane flies away. If you miss the moment and the plane disappears, you lose the money you bet. Therefore, self-control and timely decision-making are crucial.
Aviator Spribe Game Algorithm
The algorithm of the Aviator Game is straightforward. In each round, you place a bet, and the plane takes off. As the round progresses, the multiplier that multiplies your bet starts to grow. At a random moment, the plane flies away from the screen. To secure your winnings, you must press the “Cashout” button and withdraw your money while the plane is still flying. The multiplier at which you stop determines the amount of your payout.
It’s important to note that Aviator is a 100% fair game. It is built on the cryptographic technology called “Provably Fair.” This means that the multiplier for each round is not generated on the servers but is generated by the game operator and the first three players who placed bets in the round. This ensures that the gameplay is not tampered with, and everyone can verify its fairness by clicking on the designated tab in the game menu.
How to Play Aviator?
Let’s walk through the process of placing bets and withdrawing winnings in Aviator:
To place a bet, select the desired amount and click the “Bet” button. If you wish to make two independent bets, you can add a second betting panel by clicking the plus sign in the upper corner of the board.
To withdraw your money, click the “Cashout” button. The amount you receive will be equal to your bet multiplied by the current multiplier.
Additionally, Aviator offers two essential features: Auto Play and Automatic Cashout.
Auto Play: By using the Auto menu on the betting panel, you can activate the autoplay feature. Enable the checkbox in the “Auto Bet” line, and bets will be placed automatically in each round. However, you still need to click “Cashout” to withdraw your winnings.
Automatic Cashout: In the Auto menu, you’ll find the autocashout feature. When activated, you will automatically cash out when the desired multiplier is reached, ensuring a timely and secure withdrawal.

By utilizing the demo mode, you can prepare yourself for actual gameplay, minimize losses, and make fewer mistakes as a beginner. It’s an ideal starting point for both understanding the game mechanics and fine-tuning your strategies.
Developer Spribe has provided a demo version of the Aviator Game, recognizing its value in allowing players to practice and study the gameplay mechanics without risking their bets.
One of the greatest enemies of every player is greed. It’s essential to remember that winning small but consistent victories is often better than losing bets in pursuit of a massive reward. Many players regret missing good cashout opportunities while waiting for an exceptionally high multiplier. To maximize your chances of success in the Aviator Game, consider the following tips:
Don’t Delay Cashouts: Based on our experts’ trial and error experiences, it’s advisable not to delay pressing the “Cashout” button. While catching a high multiplier like x50 or higher is enticing, it’s challenging. Playing on lower multipliers will result in more consistent winnings in the long run.
Automatic Cashout: Our experts recommend utilizing the Autocashout feature. Set a multiplier, such as x2, and enable autoplay. This strategy proves effective in accumulating winnings over time, considering Aviator’s high Return to Player (RTP) percentage. By using this tactic, you can passively accumulate funds while minimizing the risk of missing cashout opportunities.
Large and Small Bets: Aviator allows you to place two separate bets simultaneously, and each bet operates independently. A recommended approach is to make identical bets, such as $5 each. Cash out the first bet at a multiplier of x2, as the plane reaches this multiplier 85% of the time. With the first bet, you recover your initial investment. For the second bet, you can either cash out at the same multiplier or wait for a higher one, depending on your risk tolerance.

Former Minister of Interior Rauf Aregbesola has sought forgiveness from those he may have offended in the last four years.
The former minister, who arrived at Osogbo yesterday, visited the Owa Obokun of Ijesaland, Oba Adekunle Aromolaran and Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun, before addressing his supporters at the Nelson Mandela Freedom Park, Old Garage, Osogbo.
Speaking in Yoruba, Aregbesola praised former President Muhammadu Buhari for giving him the opportunity to serve Nigeria. He also hailed President Bola Tinubu for being his destiny helper who trusted him with power.
He said: “I have not returned to Osun for animosity or acrimony, but reconciliation of our party. I have come here today to beg for forgiveness from anybody who is offended towards me. People are applauding today because of the great work I did when I was in government, and those who turned themselves into enemies today, we worked together in government.
“I thank God who showcased me from Lagos through the help of President Bola Tinubu. He is the architect of my success. I spent eight years as a commissioner in Lagos. In 2004, we talked about taking over our states from the opposition. President Tinubu and other Yoruba elders directed me to come and take over Osun from the opposition. With the help of God and the support of Asiwaju, I excelled as governor for eight years, though it was not easy, with the help of those who turned to my enemy for four years.
“In 2019, I came here with the person I handed over to. I counselled that I have played my own part and that he must do it right by ensuring unity within the party. But, unfortunately, Satan took over them in interpreting what I said. I never begged for anything from them when he was in power.
“I am saying it today and I am begging for forgiveness. After this, we will not beg anybody again. We didn’t offend anyone and we don’t believe anyone offended us, but it’s possible that they believe we offended them. That’s why we are apologising to them.”
Leaders of the defunct The Osun Progressives (TOP), a factional group within Osun All Progressives Congress (APC), joined Aregbesola’s entourage. They include former Speaker of the House os Assembly, Najeem Salam, former State Acting Chairman Lowo Adebiyi, former Secretary to the State Government Moshood Adeoti, ex-APC scribe, Rasaq Salensile, ex-commisioner Lani Baderinwa among others.
PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu has been urged to sack security chiefs.
Ex-militant leader and mayor of Urhoboland, Eshanakpe Israel a.k.a Akpodoro spoke after a meeting with Niger Delta stakeholders in Portharcourt, Rivers State capital, yesterday.
He said the President should relieve the Service chiefs of their potfolios, noting the lethargy shown by the President is dangerous and inimical to democracy.
The call, he noted, is necessary because there is need to change the security apparatus of the former President.
He stressed history of governance in Africa showed that such delays in sacking inherited security chiefs could be dangerous
Akpodoro, founder of Urhobo Youth Forum for Change (UYFC), said the military was part and parcel of the past failure of security, noting there’s no good reason to retain the present leadership.
With ethnic agitation and energy crisis, the mayor said the President should see reasons to overhaul the security system.
The mayor noted those Nigerians who voted for the President desire he leads the country unfettered but are uncomfortable seeing faces of those who backpedalled the progress and success of the former President in the security front.
‘’A particular one,” the former warlord noted, “was sued in the previous administration and was asked to retire but unfortunately he is staying put enjoying the spoils of office in a manner that depicts irresponsibility at the detriment of younger officers who should be appointed.
“Go around security formations and you will find young officers who are tasty to add their quota to the growth and development of the security system but are impeded by those who have chosen to perpetuate themselves in office. They lack the culture of voluntary retirement. Until they are fired, they won’t exit.
“These are the security apparatus which worked with the former President, why are they lurking around the incumbent lazily for want of perpetuity? We were here in Nigeria shortly after the elections when disgruntled elements protested to military barracks calling them out to sack a constitutional administration and takeover power. In this regard, no amount of subterfuge can make Nigerians believe most officers weren’t in sync with such anti-democratic elements and their call, ‘’ he said.
