    Phyna reacts over ‘rented wig’ allegation by a hair vendor

    Reality star, Josephina Ijeoma Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has responded to allegations that she rented a wig from a hair vendor and has not returned it.

    The Nation reported that a wig owner took to social media to call out the hype priestess for renting a wig and not returning it since last Sunday.

    Screenshots were shared, which showed Phyna and her team attempting to negotiate a lower price with the vendor.

    Phyna initially expressed weariness at being constantly criticised online, describing the accuser as a “clout chaser” and calling for people to do better.

    However, in a recent live video, she claimed the woman was blackmailing her, revealing that she doesn’t know the accuser and suggesting that her management team might have handled the transaction without informing her.

    Confused about the entire situation, Phyna also revealed she paid for the arrangement while abroad and, upon returning, attended the event with the wig without her management updating her on the return.

    He said: “I’m so clueless, I don’t even know what’s going on. Even right now I don’t know what to do about these whole issues because I am so confused. I don’t know her. I’ve never spoken to that person before.

    “Every day different stories. Now it’s clout chasers and blackmailers…….. y’all need to do better……..Phyna the air everybody in Nigeria dy breath…… make Una rest small for this whole nonsense. Even me I don tire.”

    Benjamin Justice Soghie, a renowned Nigerian entrepreneur and proprietor of E.I.A Concept Limited, has been formally inducted as a member of the British Computer Society (BCS), United Kingdom’s Chartered Institute for Information Technology. 

    The induction marks an important milestone in his career, as he becomes a member of the international community of ICT professionals and business executives.

    Founded in 1957 and chartered by Royal Charter in 1984, BCS is a world-leading body for computing, software engineering, and information technology professionals. 

    With over 57,000 members as of 2021, the company works towards promoting education, knowledge development, and professional standards in the sector.

    Benjamin Justice Soghie’s affiliation with BCS justifies his increasing influence within the information and communication technology world. 

    His reason for joining the organization was, “Connecting with like-minded professionals and contributing to the global tech ecosystem is a must. This membership presents an opportunity to enrich my expertise and work together on innovative solutions that can impact Nigeria and beyond.”

    Besides being recently admitted to BCS, Soghie is also a member of Forbes BLK, a site that celebrates the achievement of Black professionals globally. He is also a fellow of Chartered Management Institute and also an awardee of Nigerian Books of Records which is further proof of his involvement in leadership development and management excellence.

    His professional affiliations extend beyond those memberships, and he has an enormous following on online forums where he writes views and facts on entrepreneurship, leadership, and technology. His reach has been recognized across several social media platforms where he has a following of thousands of individuals.

    Apart from his entrepreneurial exploits, Soghie has also given specific focus to humanitarian activities, focusing on education and community development.     Controversial relationship therapist, Blessing Okoro popularly known as Blessing CEO has asserted that men are meant to work while women sit back to enjoy the proceeds of their hard work.

    Blessing took to social media to express her views on the traditional roles of men and women in a relationship.

    She expressed disappointment in what she perceived as a lack of vocal support from powerful men on this matter, singling out “small upcoming hustlers” for taking the lead in discussions on gender roles.

    Okoro went on to invoke the biblical narrative of Adam and Eve, suggesting that God had initially designed men to be the providers while women were intended to be recipients of financial provision.

    Popular Nollywood star, Prince Eke, has shared his experience of being kidnapped eight years ago. 

    He, however, said his colleagues were skeptical about the authenticity of his abduction at that time.

    The movie star, in a post via his Instagram page on Tuesday night, said he was abducted along the Ubima road in Rivers state.

    While describing his experience as ‘hell on earth’, he said many of his colleagues thought he lied about his ordeal just to raise money.

    Singer Chike grateful after surviving attack in Abuja

    Singer Chike Agada has shared his testimony after surviving the attack from gunmen in Abuja.

    The singer claimed that the previous 24 hours had been a testimony, recounting how, after leaving his friend’s restaurant and lounge opening, he narrowly escaped being killed by gunmen.

    Chike said when he realised he was being followed, he initially believed he was just being security cautious.

    He later confirmed he was being followed after instructing his driver to make several turns about 10 times.

    According to Chike, the gunmen started firing sporadically along Guzape express way in Abuja immediately after he instructed his driver to step on the pedal.

    He appreciated his Maker and expressed gratitude to the operatives of the DSS who came to his aid and ensured his safety.

    Chike Agada wrote: “Last 24hrs have been a true testimony. I had just left the opening of my friends restaurant and lounge opening in Abuja only To discover I was being followed.

    “At first I thought it was me being security cautious but after instructing my driver to make several turns about 10times I realised I was definitely being followed.

    “I asked the driver to step on the pedal along the Guzape express way in Abuja and as soon as he did they started fong sporadically at my vehicle. I thank the almighty because I left there unharmed.

    “And I want to express my gratitude for the way in which the @OfficialDSSNG came to my aid in making sure of my safety.”

    Controversial relationship therapist, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has revealed how actress, Nkechi Blessing Sunday once begged not to be dealt with after they met at a public event.

    The Nation reported that the two individuals have been indirectly criticizing each other, reaching a point where Nkechi Blessing brought the matter to the Blessing CEO’s office, challenging her to confront the issue face-to-face and settle their differences.

    While speaking in an interview with Saturday Beats, Blessing CEO revealed that Nkechi Blessing once pleaded with her not to deal with her, after they met at an event because social media life was different from reality.

    She said: “Blessing started throwing ‘shades’ at me since the issue of Bimbo Ogbonna (the deceased wife of a businessman, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, aka IVD) last year. I later met her at an award show that same year, and I wanted to deal with her but she pleaded with me to leave her alone, adding that social media is not real life.

    “I eventually blocked her online after she kept throwing shades at me, and even body-shamed me.”

    Blessing CEO further added that Nkechi Blessing is simply a noise maker and the video she had made at her office wasn’t a live one, but one she made and posted after she left the office.

    The relationship therapist added that she isn’t wayward in real life as may be perceived online.

    She said: “Many actresses have their secrets. I do not live a wayward life, so I am bold. Many celebrities avoid conflict to keep their secrets.”
