    She emphasised that nobody should be underestimated or undermined.

    Her endorsement showcased the support and recognition that Ilebaye received from influential figures within the entertainment industry.

    The actress wrote: “Yes girl…. You deserve it. Nobody should be underestimated. My original winner. The beauty from Kogi state.”

    Her victory not only solidified her position as a deserving winner but also showcased her resilience and ability to rise above adversity.

    The father of late singer, MohBad, has opened up on how his second wife would ask him to choose between her and his son.

    He disclosed this in an interview with BBC.

    This statement comes weeks after the death of his son, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba aka MohBad.

    “My name is Mr. Aloba Joseph Oluwabamiwo, and I am the father of the late Mohbad.

    “Mohbad was a quiet person who didn’t talk much. Whatever you gave him would satisfy him. He was my friend, and we used to go out together.

    “Whatever I was doing, he would always join me, and we were very close. We were like brothers.”

    “Ilerioluwa was someone who liked to do the things I did. He saw me as a bishop and when I went out, he was ready to follow me.

    “Sometimes, he would dance and sometimes, he would support me. That’s how we started.

    “I never thought he could even sing, but there was a time when we were at a Redeemed Church, and I promised him that after I finished building our house, I would buy him a talking drum. He was happy.

    “After buying him that talking drum, within three days, he learned how to play it. I was so surprised.”

    Speaking about marrying multiple wives, he said: “I can say Mohbad was the reason for having multiple wives because after his mother left me, I had to marry another person.”

    “The second wife was understanding at first, but later, when Mohbad wanted to go to school, she started complaining, saying, ‘You don’t open up to me,’ ‘You do everything with your son.’ She even said, ‘It’s either you choose me or your son,’ and I told her I would choose my son.”

    Big Brother Naija All-stars former housemate Soma Anyama has slammed colleague CeeC over inability to keep secrets.

    He said CeeC cannot keep a secret for 30 minutes without spilling to someone else. 

    In a recent interview with Pulse Fun Facts, Soma, he alleged CeeC has a tendency to divulge private information shared with her, turning it into public knowledge.

    Soma advised anyone who confides in CeeC to be prepared for their secret to become common knowledge.

    During the interview, Soma also shared his initial thoughts upon meeting Angel, his love interest in the BBNaija house.

    Veteran singer, Sidney Onoriode Esiri aka  Dr Sid has explained why he suddenly quit music.

    In an interview with BTS podcast, Dr Sid said he quit because his last last music project fell short of his expectations, leading him to venture into filmmaking.

    He also added that he felt he had achieved ultimate success with music by receiving awards, touring the world and delivering hit records.

    “I had pretty much lived my dream, I had done every single thing I wanted to do in music, I had won awards, I had toured the world, I had had hit records.

    “And when I put out the last body of work that I did, it did not get the response that I was expecting.

    “I have always wanted to make film so for me, that was the next evolution in my career. So I had to make a conscious decision, say you know what?

    “I happened to be in America at a gaming conference and I realised that gaming was a $3 billion industry, the gaming industry makes more money than music and film combined.

    “So I said to myself why are we dulling on this in Africa? So I came back and I started a company to build the Nigerian gaming echo system,” he said.

    Mohbad’s father demands DNA test for grandson

    Joseph Aloba, father of late rapper, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, aka MohBad, has requested a DNA test be carried out on his grandson to establish his paternity.

    In the wake of MohBad’s demise, some Nigerians demanded a DNA test to prove the paternity of the five-month-old son considering the controversies surrounding his death.

    Speaking in an interview with BBC Pidgin, MohBad’s dad was asked to address the massive controversial call for paternity test on his grandson.

    He insisted the right thing should be done as the matter was now a global concern.

    He said: “This thing has become a majority thing, not only in Nigeria. So they should do the proper thing at the proper time.”

    On September 24, a video surfaced online of a businessman, Larry Omodia, urging Mohbad’s wife to conduct a DNA test on her son to confirm his paternity.

    He pledged to provide N10 million to support the singer’s widow for an ‘all-expense paid’ DNA test if she agreed.

    He expressed the view that a DNA test was necessary considering the numerous controversies surrounding Mohbad’s passing.

    He asserted that a leaked conversation between Mohbad and Omowunmi during a heated argument made her a prime suspect.

    In the leaked clip, the ‘Peace’ singer levelled serious allegations against his wife, including conspiracy, and swore that she would be held accountable if anything unfortunate were to happen to him.

    Omodia said Omowunmi’s acceptance for a paternity test to be done on her son would put paid to every traumatic accusation being levelled against her and most importantly clear her name.

    Previously, a social media sensation, VeryDarkBalckMan was issued a stern warning by Mohbad’s sister-in-law after he requested DNA be done for the 27-year-old rapper’s son, Liam.

    The Instagram activist was threatened with a N300 million lawsuit for defamation of character if he persisted with his DNA request.

    He shared his perspective on their career trajectories and emphasised that he did not bully them for their choices.

    The singer took to his X platform to address the situation by stating Mr. Eazi and Idowest left the record label after achieving significant success in their careers under his supervision.

    Dammy Krane pointed out that Idowest departed his record label to join forces with Davido after gaining recognition during his time with Dammy Krane’s label.

    Mr Eazi moved on to the Starboy record label while Dammy Krane and Wizkid were embroiled in a song theft controversy.

    However, Dammy Krane made it clear that he never resorted to bullying or negative actions in response to their decisions.

    He expressed his belief that his intention had always been to support and help them become independent artists.

    In Dammy Krane’s words: “Mr Eazi & Idowest both left my Record label when they blew up, Mr Eazi went to Starboy when me & Wiz had the whole song theft issue while Idowest went to Davido, that one no mean say make I start to drag them or bully them cos the motive was to help them become a Man of their own.”
