    Big brother Naija All Stars housemate CeeC claims beating up her fellow housemate Alex wouldn’t have been a big deal if they were outside the house. 

    She spoke hours after they clashed in the house over a wager task.

    Yesterday, the two housemates, who appeared on Season 3 of BBNaija as housemates and rivals, almost came to blows but were separated by housemates.

    Still reflecting on the incident with Cross the next day, CeeC stated that she would have handled Alex differently if they hadn’t been in the house.

    According to Cee C, she would have hired four boys and they would have beaten the Enugu-born dancer to death.

    Skit makers have shorter longevity compared to us – Comedian Igosave

    Comedian Otaghware Otas Onodjayeke aka Igosave, has argued the fame and popularity of a skit maker is momentary.

    He said, unlike stand-up comedians, most skit makers lack longevity in the entertainment industry.

    The comic star made the assertion while appearing as a guest on the latest episode of The Honest Bunch podcast, co-hosted by actor, Nedu.

    Asked if he agrees that skitmaking is now overshadowing stand-up comedy, Igosave said: “Skitmaking, once they start am e dey erupt like volcano. But in my opinion, the lifespan is short.

    “Yeah, skit maker go come, scatter everywhere, but before you know, he do cool. But, comedians go dey there for years still dey do their thing dey go.

    “We get plenty skit makers wey don come, wey we no dey hear off again wey no last three minutes.”

    Pastor David Ibiyeomie has revealed the amount he gives his wife monthly for just ‘feeding’.

    The cleric revealed the information during a recent sermon while advising married women to be prudent with the money given to them.

    Pastor David Ibiyeomie, General Overseer of Salvation Ministries, stated that he used to give his wife N600k per month for feeding and N500k – N600k for each service.

    However, due to the size of his house and his large family, he later increased the feeding amount to N1 million per month.

    In his words: “I used to give my wife N600k for feeding a month, then I use to give every service N500 to 600k per service when I was giving her N600k per month.

    “Then I shifted to N1 million per month, my house is big. All women who are not prudent, please be prudent. Don’t tell me your husband is rich so you waste money. If with all the wealth I have my wife can use N1 million.”

    Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate Whitemoney and Mercy Eke have agreed most of the other housemates are not happy to see past winners back on the reality show.

    He said Cross vowed that he would not win this time around and he heard CeeC say a female would win the ongoing season.

    The singer said the cash prize was never his actual goal but to promote his music. After the threats, he said he is ready to play the game.

    He promised never to nominate Mercy for eviction and urged her to do the same, which she obliged.

    They also came to a consensus that if any of them wins, the other will be the first runner-up.

    Whitemoney said: “There’s a plot going on. Yesterday, I got to find out that not everyone here is happy that the winners are back. Neo was like, ‘It’s not fair’ that we are here.”

    Whitemoney further said: “Cross said that he swears that I’m not taking it this time, that he’s the winner. Same thing CeeC, and all of them, saying na woman dey win am this time, even Angel.

    “Initially, I didn’t come back for the money, I came to promote my craft and my music coming out tomorrow, so when this is over, I can start going for shows and performing. But after yesterday, let’s play! 

    “You see, as me and you take last enter here, na so we go be last comot. I give you my word: I will never nominate you and you do the same. When you’re up, WhiteMoney Gang knows what to do for Mercenaries and when I’m up, Mercenaries will support WhiteMoney Gang.

    “Right now I would d rather have you win than any of these people. You win it, I’m your first runner-up, or I win it and you’re my first runner-up.”

    Mercy responded, “Even me.”

    Whitemoney won the 6th edition of the show, while Mercy won the 4th edition. The duo are the only past winners competing for the N120 million cash prize in the ongoing all-star edition.

     Produced and directed by Osezuah Elimihe under  Aisre Pictures, in conjunction with Megalectrics Ltd, the movie kept viewers glued to their seats throughout its duration.

     Unforgivable, which would start its cinema run today, July 28, 2023, features top acts like Theo Lawson, Timini Egbuson, Nancy Isime, Jude Orhorha, Victor Eriabie, Ijeoma Richards,  Mercy Isoyip, Anthonia Okojie, Emeka Okoye, Kokoette Omoinyang, and Joseph Ajah.  Others are Joseph Momodu, Aaron Sunday, Moses Nwosu , Osasu Esemuede, Linda Igwe, Alloysius Onyejegbu among others.

     About the movie, Elimihe, said: “Unforgivable is about a young man though raised with a golden spoon by responsible parents,  has issues with ladies and is charged to court for raping the lad after his heart. Realising to his chagrin that his father hired his ex, a topnotch lawyer in matters of rape and murder cases to defend him and he refuses her representation in court but prefers to represent himself instead.”

    Going into acting worried my mum, says Motunrayo

    Nollywood actress Oluwakemi Motunrayo has said how her mother was worried when she told her about her desire to become an actress.

      “When I told my parents about my intention to join the movie industry, my mum was initially not in support of my decision,’ she began. “She was worried about the wild rumours and scandals around actresses.  She was also scared about the issue of sex in exchange for movie roles. Thankfully, my mum did a good job of raising me and my case was different. She is always happy and proud anytime she watches my movies.”

     Continuing, Motunrayo said she has a passion for acting. “I really have a passion for it, having experienced both good and bad. But I will never quit because of the passion I have for acting.” 

    The thespian, a native of Owo, Ondo State, who started her movie career in 2008 explained that her tempestuous trajectory has continued to strengthen her in the industry.

     “I joined the movie industry in 2008 through Afeez Owo Group (Double A Entertainment). I am equally a producer, having produced four lovely movies: Rinsola Oloko Meta,Eleda, Elegbenla and Atunida. Essentially, I have learnt a lot of lessons in the industry,” she added.

     Oluwakemi, a graduate of Business Administration, recalled how she managed to overcome sexual advances from colleagues in the movie sector, saying: “Getting into the movie industry was not a walk in the park for me. I got a lot of advances from actors and directors that offered roles in exchange for sex, but God gave me wisdom to outsmart them.

     “When I first came into the industry in 2009, the competition between actresses was much but I thank God I am still alive and doing well for myself.”

     She added: “I think the most challenging aspect of being an actress is the way people perceive us. The untrue assumptions are quite disturbing. Some people classify actresses as runs girls (prostitutes) in disguise and I think it is not appropriate to have such thoughts. For instance, I just bought a new SUV and some people were quick to say it was my sugar daddy that bought it for me.”

    Rising gospel singer, Gift Christopher, aka Minister GUC, is not slowing down on his promise to keep giving his fans quality music back to back.

    The EeZee Conceptz signee released a new single entitled, ‘Popsi’, on Sunday, July 23, 2023, and according to him, it is a track of appreciation to God.

    In a recent statement, the singer said, “This song is all about thanking God for all His blessings and wonders. He is indeed a faithful God, who is deserving of all our praise.”

     On how he ventured into music, he stated that when one of his friends  invited him to the studio.

     “When we got to the studio to record, my guy recorded his first verse and the producer noticed me, and wanted to know more about me. My friend told the producer that we were schoolmates. Surprisingly, the producer invited me to sing something on top of the song. It was just like a dream, because it was my first time going to the studio, much less recording a song,” he said.
