“I have had good receptions in the past when I create love songs like “Professional Lover” and “Faaji”. The theme is around seeking forgiveness from someone you hurt. It’s about recognising the value of a loved one and being bold enough to ask them to come back. Lovers of good music would like this one.”

BM Casso also revealed how he struck a chemistry with one of Nigeria’s favourite love crooners, Ric Hassani.

According to him: “As expected, it wasn’t an easy feature to get at all. Ric is one of the top guys in Africa as a whole, and globally, with this type of sound and it took a lot of work to get him on this song especially because he’s busy as well and with his reputation, it took a while for the song to get in front of him. But once the music got to him, he loved it and vibed with it instantly.

“He was done with his part in a matter of hours and of course, he did not disappoint. I love his verse so much and I’m glad and honoured to have him on this track. It means a lot to me. I want to thank my brother, Krizblac for setting this up for me.”

The Lagos-born Afrobeats artiste also spoke on how he ventured into music and his inspiration when growing up.

He said: “I actually started with mumbling rap and recording into my elder brother’s phone and he would encourage me to write down lyrics to the flows I was recording.

“I listened to a lot of Lil Wayne growing up, and the Plantashun Boiz, Psquare and Styl Plus. I also listened to a lot of West life and Backstreet Boys, thanks to my sisters. I would say these people inspired me musically, growing up.”

Tagging female BBNaija housemates sluts distasteful – Kezz

Former BBNaija ‘Level Up’ housemate Kesiena Tony Adjekpovu aka Sir Kess or simply Kess has termed the slut tag on his female colleagues as unpleasant.

The model and music enthusiast was reacting to On-Air-Personality Nedu’s claim about the female participants of the popular reality TV show.

Nedu, during a recent episode of ‘The Honest Bunch’ podcast which had one of the show’s ex-housemate, Doyinsola David aka Doyin as a guest, claimed most ladies that participate on the show do so to get customers; suggesting they were courtesans.

He explained the show offers its participants a huge platform to thrive for which the females have nothing else to reciprocate with but their ‘kpekus’.

Rebuffing Nedu’s claim with the general notion of referring to the BBNaija female housemates as tramps, Kess highlighted their capabilities.

He argued it would be unjust to subvert their genuine strides to achieve success.

“This trend of tagging female Big Brother housemates as sluts is distasteful. 95% of them are highly intelligent, sufficiently independent, super talented, and are legit hustlers. It is unfair to undermine their hard work,” he said.

Why my marriage crashed, by actress Wunmi Toriola

Actress Wunmi Toriola has confirmed reports of her marriage crash but refuted the alleged reason for it.

The actress spoke up after a blog recently reported her marriage to the US-based hubby packed up because she was violent and constantly assaulting his mother.

While she explained that all her family and friends could attest to the fact that she wasn’t a violent person, the mother of one debunked the report, describing it as satanic.

Wishing her naysayers well, she advised everyone else to move on, noting she has focused only on her next level.

Addressing the rumour via her Instagram page, the movie star wrote: “Yes, it is true the marriage is over. We have gone out separate ways for over a year now. It didn’t work out, there was no need for drama hence my reason for not letting my fans know.

“But yesterday I saw a report where it was alleged that I was violent while the marriage lasted and I used to beat my mother and my mother-in-law. It was reported that my ex allegedly concocted these lies.

“For the record, I am not a violent person. I have not had to exchange punches with anyone and I was never violent in the marriage. The most painful part of the report is that I used to beat my mother. This is not only a personal attack, it is satanic.

“It is against everything I stand for and believe. As a properly raised Yoruba lady, it is costly to lay your hands on your parent. As a matter of fact, my mum has been late for over 20 years. And I never raised my hands against my mother-in-law. It never happened and it will never happen. My family members, my ex’s family members, and our neighbors can testify to that.

“I wish those who started the rumour and those spreading well and pray that God rewards every one of us according to the works of our hands. As for me, I am focused on the next level, and I have moved on from the past. I advise everyone else to do the same.”
