    Money doesn’t guarantee comfort- Enioluwa

Popular influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa has expressed frustration over the recurring floods in Lagos, saying even living in a prime location has not spared him from being trapped indoors.

He took to social media after heavy rainfall left his neighborhood submerged, lamenting that despite investing in a house in a prestigious area, flooding makes it difficult to move around.

“In this part of the world, money doesn’t guarantee comfort. You hustle hard, buy a house in what’s called a ‘prime location,’ yet the moment it rains, you’re trapped indoors because everywhere outside is flooded,” he wrote on X.

His post quickly gained traction, sparking conversations about the city’s vulnerability to seasonal flooding.

Responses to his post were mixed. While some sympathized with his frustration, others criticised his decision to purchase property in Lekki, pointing out the area’s notoriety for flooding.

A number of users also observed that Lagos residents have grown accustomed to such challenges, regardless of status or location.

Kizz Daniel denies alleged freezing of accounts

Popular singer and songwriter, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, better known as Kizz Daniel, has debunked a viral report claiming that a court ordered the freezing of his personal and business accounts over a contract dispute.

The report, which spread widely on social media, alleged that the Buga crooner was directed to pay €200,000 in damages for failing to honor a show despite receiving a $50,000 advance payment, and that his accounts with Access Bank were frozen by court order.

Kizz Daniel’s PR team described the report as false, misleading and a deliberate attempt to tarnish the artist’s reputation.

According to the team: “This is a fluke and a big lie. Kizz Daniel has no such case in court, and no accounts have been frozen. We urge fans, partners, and the general public to disregard this fabricated story.”

They further assured that legal steps will be taken against those behind the fake report, emphasising that the artist remains focused on his music and upcoming shows.

His management insisted such distractions will not deter him from delivering quality music to his fans worldwide.

It would be recalled the promoter of Afrobeats Meets Berlin 2022 actively used Kizz Daniel’s name, image, and likeness along with that of other artists to sell tickets and build hype for a festival that ultimately never happened.

“The management wondered: “Now, all traces of the event have mysteriously vanished from the internet. Social media pages deactivated. No accountability. No explanation.

“So the question is simple: does the Promoter not owe fans, ticket buyers, and the artists themselves an explanation? Why exploit the brand power of performers only to disappear when it’s time to deliver?
