    Winners Chapel founder Bishop David Oyedepo’s first daughter, Love, had her own share of challenges in giving birth. In her mid-30s, she tied the knot with her husband, Stephen Ogah, in March 2013.

    Speaking in a recent interview in a celebrity journal, she revealed the problem started when she lost her first pregnancy in November of the same year and doctors confirmed that she could not carry pregnancy in her womb to term.

    After intense fasting and prayers, she became pregnant again in 2015. She had to go through a C-section to be delivered of her baby girl whom they named Rejoice. In 2017, another girl child, Flavour, was added to the family.

    BIRTHDAY wishes have continued to pour in for billionaire Abdul Samad Rabiu, who clocked 60 on Tuesday, August 4, 2020.

    If you are familiar with the chairman of BUA Group, you will attest to the fact that he is a private man who doesn’t like attention or celebrate birthdays in a big way. But it was a different case in the office this year as staff members and associates decided to catch him by surprise. Different companies, mostly banks decorated his office with cakes and gifts, and a saxophonist was contracted also.

    The moment he stepped into the office, there was a mini celebration. The saxophonist started playing while staff cheered him on with happy birthday songs. A smiling Rabiu was short of words but still found a way to say thank you. Thereafter, he quickly made his way into his inner office.

    Social Circuit gathered that for most of his previous birthdays, staff didn’t have the privilege to celebrate with him as he was not always in the country.

    This year, Forbes estimated Rabiu’s wealth at $3.2 billion, ranking him 716th in the global billionaire’s club.

    His daughter, Abisola Kola-Daisi, appears to be healing faster than expected from his father’s demise. In the past few days, she has shared some posts on her Instagram page, indicating she’s in a good place mentally.

    Presently, she is reading a book – Option B – which focuses on coping with adversity and features stories of people who recovered from personal and professional difficulties.

    According to her, as she reads from the book, she gets strength. “We all have dealt with and will deal with loss at certain points in our lives. The real challenge is how we face them. So today’s affirmation is to remember that when life sucks me under, I can kick against the bottom, break the surface and breathe gain,” she posted.

    On August 4, when the cosmopolitan moneybag glided into the league of sexagenerian, it was no surprise when all and sundry celebrated him to high heavens.

    Though the African billionaire, who has his hands in business that include but not limited to real estate, sugar plantation, oil and gas, steel and cement, would love to paint the city of Lagos red in celebration of his 60th birthday, the pandemic ravaging the world prevented him from doing so. Hence, Rabiu opted for a lowkey celebration with family and friends.

    The emergence of COVID-19 further allowed Rabiu and his company to contribute positively to the betterment of humanity. Aside from donating generously to CACOVID, Rabiu also handed over a well fitted and equipped 200Bed special care center to the Kano State Government to help manage and cushion the effect of the global pandemic.

Her brilliance, intelligent, as well as the intimidating educational background, is phenomenal. Often when her name crops up in public discourse, she is always acknowledged as brilliant, given her intimidating credentials; holding a degree in Management Studies from the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) Bauchi, Bauchi State, a Post- Graduate Diploma (PGD) In Management, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing and Ph.D. in Strategic Marketing and Consumer Behaviour.

    Beyond this enviable academic qualifications, Tamuno, who is currently a member of the Board of Nigeria Railway Corporation, has been recognized for her humanitarian efforts through her Lady Maureen Tamuno Foundation, a non-governmental organization for the care of widows, orphans and the down-trodden in the society.

    The Ex- Rivers lawmaker and philanthropist of note, is one woman whose love for humanity beggars description. She has dedicated her life and time to some humanitarian gestures. Since she founded the organisation, she has tried, as humanly possible, to put smiles on the faces of the hoi polloi across the country. As a member of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Nigeria, Tamumo trained over 300 teenagers in various skills and set them up with starter packs via her Pearls Growth Club, an NGO for young persons between the ages of 11 and 17.

    To show his philanthropic side and contributing to the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), he has teamed up with his multimedia outfit, Prime Studio to commence the maiden edition of the ‘Slum 2 Prime Initiative’.

    The initiative is poised to give 20 children within the Lagos suburb and metropolis, who are currently out of school due to the COVID-19 pandemic, an avenue to learn the ABC of cinematography and photography and other creative processes at no cost.

    Society Rendezvous gathered from a close source that the training session will feature young and bright kids within the age bracket of 10-17, residing within Ikeja, Badagry, Ikorodu, Lagos Island and Epe.

    “After the selection process, we would pick the smartest kids with consent from their guardian or parent. The mobilization and welfare of selected participants would be fully catered for by Prime studio for the next 2 months of training.

    They would be well-groomed on how to handle cameras, lenses, lighting, studio makeup, stabilizers, stage, and set designs e.t.c. This initiative will keep them busy and take them off all possible negative vices that might affect their growing process.”
