If you know Meram Indimi on the streets of Borno and Abuja, you will know she is a drop-dead beauty with a touch of sophistication. She oozes panache and elegance.

Apart from being one of the daughters of Borno state billionaire business mogul Alhaji Muhammed Indimi, she also carved a niche for herself in the health, wellness and beauty world.

She was every man’s choice and dream but the super cool Meram found love again in the heart of Turkish businessman, Yakup Gundogdu, who won her heart. Gundogdu also took it a step further by coming all the way to Nigeria to ask for Meram’s hand in marriage.

Meram had previously been married to Baffa Dandatti Abdulkadir in 2018 before their separation due to irreconcilable differences.

Since then Meram has recoiled back into her shell facing her business and staying out of controversy until she resurfaced into the media space when her nuptial to her new husband was announced.

The Indimi family are influential as they are inlaws to the family of former president and head of state among other influential Nigerians.

On Saturday August 12, in Borno State Maiduguri, the traditional Kamu took place at the Indimi’s residence in Borno with the attendance of the Governor of Borno State Babagana Zulum who witnessed the nuptial proceeding.

The nuptials were held a day after the birthday of the bride’s father, so it was a celebratory mood as the nuptials showcased the Nigerian and Turkish culture, especially in style, fashion, food among other cultural ties.

For Meram the head honcho of Abuja’s big skincare firm, Skinnyseung, it’s a dream come true as she danced and enjoyed every bit of the ceremony.

Assistant Corp Marshal ACM Bisi Kazeem, the current Federal Road Safety Corp Public Education Officer is a man who has instilled  discipline and confidence in his children. The pride of every father is to see his children do exceedingly well in all their endeavours.

Kazeem’s son Abdul Muiz Abiola made him a proud father after he graduated from Crescent University with a degree in banking and finance and also with an Msc. from Babcock University in Business Administration.

Now, Muiz is set to make his parents happy as he is set to walk down the aisle with his long time girlfriend Zainab Temilade Dosunmu from the prominent Dosunmu family in Lagos state.

The holy matrimony will be held on Saturday September 9 at the Yard 158 Event Arena,  Oregun, Lagos. It was gathered that the father of the groom has sent invitations to top individuals from all walks of life to come and share in his pot full of joy on the occasion of his son’s wedding ceremony. He has also made provision to make the day a memorable for all and sundry.

Since his 37 years in active service as a military personnel rising through the ranks to become the 22nd chief of Army staff, Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya rtd CFR has remained untainted and unblemished in his career.

In fact, how he was able to remain clean with impressive records still amazes many because he was a man that dared to be different by deviating from the norm. He is a man whose conscience is clean so at every position he served, he served with his heart and patriotism.

Many believe this is the reason he started strong and finished stronger thereby leading as an example to those coming behind him.

When he retired on June 23, 2023 and handed over to the new Chief of Army Staff, many were genuinely happy that such a great man, who gave his all is finally bowing out in style so they did everything possible to appreciate and celebrate him for being a rare gem despite the temptation and pressure to join the old order.

In a bid to celebrate their own, who served the country at such level as Chief of Army staff, Sokoto state indigenes came out in their large numbers to welcome him back to his hometown where he was honoured and given a rousing welcome.

On Saturday, August 12, 2023, Zaruman Sokoto, Dike Ogu of Imo, several individuals and dignitaries from all walks of life, trooped out to cheer the illustrious son of Sifawa Bodinga LGA of Sokoto state with a very warm grand reception at the Sokoto state Sports Complex.

He was honoured with a colourful parade staged by pupils from various schools in Sokoto, Cultural troupes performance, Durbar display and streams of glowing tributes. In attendance were Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, who was also the Chairman of the Grand reception, the Governor of Sokoto state, Dr Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa, the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, His Eminence, and Alhaji (Dr)Saad Abubakar III CFR, Sultan of Sokoto.

The dignitaries paid glowing tributes to the retired General after which the Sultan bestowed on him the traditional title of the Zaruman Sokoto; a traditional title bestowed on a warrior, who has distinguished himself in the field of battle. He is also regarded strategically, as one of the king-makers. The grand reception further cemented his place as a pivotal member of the community.

Bello, son of ex-Governor of Kaduna State Nasir El-Rufai has over the years taken after his father as a seasoned politician and a technocrat who loves to impact his immediate environment.

Bello has followed in the footsteps of his father and this has helped him in all his dealings in life. So, last weekend he cemented the nuptials to Aisha Habibu Shuiabu, daughter of a former Military Administrator of Plateau and Niger States, Col. Habibu Shuaibu (rtd). The union generated mixed reactions as his father Nasir El-Rufai was absent and also many said this will be his second nuptial that he was formerly married to Kamilah whose aunt is the late Maryam Babangida.

Last week Friday, the nuptial attracted who is who in Nigeria’s political and business landscape as Governor Uba Sanni the incumbent Governor of Kaduna State stood as Bello’s father and performed every rite as the groom worked closely with him as his senior legislative aide while at the senate chambers as a senator.

Some set of people who are intimidated by her highflying profile started a campaign of calumny as they started to make disparaging comments about her.

 After so much outrage on the media space created by naysayers who say she was just a mere content creator, she was dropped from being a ministerial nominee days before her screening and replaced with her former classmate Mariya Mahmoud.

 While many thought she was going to get angry and frustrated, she remained unruffled and undeterred in her quest for service to her father’s land. She kept her cool accepting the action of the president in the best interest of the country and the party.

 While they were waiting for her to react in an abnormal way, she reacted with kind words thanking the President for giving her the opportunity and hoping to work with him in another capacity also saying it’s the will of her creator so she accepts it in good faith.
