    Atilade mourns Mogaji, praises Tinubu

The Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), South West Region, Archbishop Magnus Atilade, has described the late Alhaja Abibat Mogaji as the greatest mobiliser in the nation.

The deceased, he said, used her position as President General of the Nigerian Market Women and Men Association to mobilise Nigerians to worthy causes.

Atilade, in his tribute, recalled how the late Mogaji single handedly saw to the success of the Primary Health Project initiated by the late Prof. Ransom Kuti, in the 80s.

According to him: “We called a stakeholders’ meeting that people were reluctant to attend. Then, we approached Mama who mobilised all the market women and men to the venue.

“The meeting was a sell-out and other states took a cue from Lagos in the implementation of the project.

“I can say that she was the main catalyst for the scheme as someone who worked from the inside.”

He condoled with Ahmed Bola Tinubu on the incident, asking him to draw inspiration from her worthy lifestyle.

The deceased’s courage, he pointed out, has rubbed off on the national leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).

Tinubu, according to him, deserves credit for daring to fulfill the promise to hand over private and mission schools to their proprietors despite stiff oppositions from vested interests and religious organisations.

  • Makinde eulogises Tinubu’s mother

Prelate of the Methodist Church Nigeria, His Eminence Ola Makinde, has described the late Alhaja Dr. Abibat Asabi Mogaji, IyaOloja of Lagos and the President-General, Association of Nigerian Market Women and Men as a “fearless and humane leader whose qualities of consistency, commitment, honesty, public-spiritedness and social concern is worthy of emulation.”

He said this during a condolence visit to the deceased’s son, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, last Wednesday in Lagos.

In a release made available by the Church’s Media and Public Relations Officer, Rev. Oladapo Daramola, Makinde said the late Mogaji was no doubt one of the nation’s most significant figures in trade and business.

Her influence, he said, was profound on the well-being of the citizenry, especially in Lagos and the south-west.

According to Makinde: “The news of her death came to us as a rude shock knowing that she was in a good and healthy condition and a sound mind.

“But we are comforted because precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. She was a constructively engaging and outspoken person, a dogged fighter, a bridge builder, an activist and an effective mobiliser who stood up against tyranny, oppression, discrimination and exploitation.”

  • Preparation for effective prayer

I will be sharing with you vital information you must know about prayer before I go into nine steps to effective prayer. Otherwise, the purpose of this message will be defeated. For this reason, let us briefly examine the following: which will serve as a foundation to effective prayer.

    What is Prayer?

Are you a Pharisee or Publican? (Luke 18:9-14). Prayer is neither an act nor a show. Prayer is not religion. Prayer is a relationship between you and God. It is also an instruction and commandment from God (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Prayer is a commitment and daily affair which is not done ‘when I feel like’. (Psalm 55:17). Prayer is a must. Prayer is a spirit and is real (Romans 8:26).

Prayerlessness is a sin (1 Samuel 12:23). The more prayerful you are the more powerful you are (Daniel 6:10). Without prayer there is no power. There is no doubt about the efficacy of prayer and what it is able to achieve, but those who have learned it by experience know its effect, e.g. Moses (Exodus 32:11-14) and Jabez (1 Chronicles 4:9-10). To live without prayer is to stop breathing. There are many people who are physically alive but spiritually dead. Prayer is communication with the Lord. It is unbelievable that anyone can live in this evil world without prayer (Galatians 1:4). Many believers today desire to experience the power of prayer in their lives because they want to see their prayers answered, unfortunately this is not possible because of wrong approach to prayer.

    Wrong Approach to Prayer

    a) Hurried attitude. They hurriedly approach prayer which means their minds are not in their prayer, though they are bodily present but their spirit is absent. Because there are certain things they must quickly do at a certain time, if not they will be late. So they rush in and rush out with nothing achieved.

    b) Hasty demeanour. They hastily recite a list of their needs to God, followed by a farewell “Amen”. They present their prayer request (needs) in recitation form without thanksgiving; praise and worshipping God. There is No time to think of what He can do and how He delights to hear their prayers.

    c) Lack of Composure. They have no time to listen to His Still Small Voice. This approach is not right before God because it is necessary to remain seated or on your kneels waiting to hear from the Holy Spirit after praying.

    The Right Approach to Prayer

This is the opposite of the listed wrong approach to prayer and they include:

    1. Quietness. Be quiet as you enter into the presence of God. Don’t begin pouring out your heart immediately. God is not a talkative.

    2. Begin to think about what He can do and how He delights to hear your prayers. God loves fellowship. He created you for fellowship (Genesis 3:8-9).

    3. Think of your privilege and benefits in Christ and expect great things (Psalm 103:1-5). Be careful what you say in His presence (Luke 18:9-14).

    One Thing You Must Know

Whenever you come to God in prayer, believe that you have already entered into God’s presence. Therefore, before you utter a single word in prayer, begin with quietness. Do you want to enter a new dimension in your prayer life? Do you desire a deeper relationship with God? This article is what you have been praying and waiting for.

Total freedom can only come if you are connected to God. You get connected to God as you give your life to Christ. You can be born again today by saying this prayer:

Lord Jesus, I confess to you that I am a sinner. Forgive my sins and wash me with your blood. Deliver me from sin and Satan. I invite you into my heart. I accept you as my Lord and personal savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Thank you Jesus for saving me.

Write my name in the Book of Life. I am born again in Jesus name, Amen.

  • Church of Annunciation jubilates at 10

It was praises galore last Sunday as Catholic Church of the Annunciation, Orioke Ejigbo, Lagos marked its 10th anniversary.

The anniversary, which attracted lots of dignitaries including pioneer parishioners from far and wide, past priests and their assistants, also featured a funds raising session for the church’s building.

The former assistant Parish Priest of St Peters Catholic Church and officiating priest at the occasion, Rev Father Tony Okeke, urged Christians to resist the temptation to take the back seat when a call to support God’s work is made.

He stressed that those who rise above every day challenges to work for God never go unrewarded

“Tell me anyone who has ever become poor by supporting God’s work. In fact, those who make God’s business their business have a lot to gain as he in turn makes their business his business,” he submitted

The chairman of the Church council, Chidi Amakunor, commended the steadfastness of members and expressed delight that the church, an outstation of St Peters Catholic Church Ejigbo, which started like the Biblical mustard seed, has grown to the point of being tipped to become a parish in the near future.

  • Unveiling the demands of Faith!

A very prophetic agenda is for an appointed time (Habakkuk 2:1-3). Every agenda sets the stage for a divine visitation. So, we must be time conscious. You must also understand that your faith must not just capture the content; it must capture the timing. Your faith must be able to capture it, so you can operate in the realm of it. If we refuse to take responsibility, we have chosen to become liabilities.

    What then is faith?

    • Faith is unwavering confidence in God, until the desired result is obtained (Romans 4:20-21). Faith is remaining inwardly steadfast and outwardly violent. It is refusing to consider the negative circumstances around you.

    • Faith is reasoning with God in His Word on any subject of concern, until you are fully persuaded of the truth as to stake your life (Daniel 3:17-18).

    • Faith is not waiting for God to work; it is putting God’s Word to work, thereby committing Him to make good His promise (1 Timothy 1:18). Waiting equals wasting. You don’t wait for prophecies to be fulfilled; you war a good warfare to enforce their fulfilment. It is for you to pray and fast.

What Does It Take To Develop Your Faith?

Faith is a living virtue that has capacity for unlimited growth. Our faith can grow to bring us to the level of Christ, and it can also grow to take us beyond that level. Unfortunately, we are just waiting for our faith to grow; we are not working at growing it. Nothing grows on its own. Anything of value has to be planted and grown.

The reason you need to develop faith is that there are things God says to you that you will need capacity to receive them. You must, therefore, strive to enhance your own degree of faith, because faith is in degrees (We have little and great faith).

    • Faith comes by hearing and hearing from God.

Nothing builds and boosts your faith like your access to the voice of God (Psalm 29:4-9).The voice of the Lord is the voice of the Spirit. So, you must get off the human realm, to the Spirit realm to appreciate it (1 Corinthians 2:14).

    • Faith comes by hearing and understanding God’sWord.

Hearing is not equal to understanding. Hearing is a requirement to understand, but it’s not equal to understanding on its own. Understanding is being able to see what God is saying. When you can see a thing, you can’t doubt it. However, your understanding comes at a cost.

It has to be bought, it doesn’t just drop. You buy with your time and with high level discipline (Act8:30).

    How to see prophecies fulfilled:

    1. You must engage faith-filled thoughts: Fill your heart with the thought of the reality of the fulfilment of those prophecies (Prov. 23:7). The battles of life are either won from within or lost from within. That’s why the Bible says:Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life (Prov. 4:23).

    2. Engage faith-filled words: Let your mouth be filled with the reality of its fulfilment. Don’t allow what you see to determine what you speak. Let what you speak determine what happens(Psalm 81:10-11).

    3. Engage faith-driven actions: After Hannah heard the word from the Priest, Eli, she went home and took bread and her countenance was no more sad. She was already operating like a mother of children (James 2:18)

Friend, the grace to see prophecies fulfilled is the privilege of those saved. You get saved as you confess your sins and accept Jesus as your Saviour and Lord. If you are set for it, please say this prayer: Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins. Cleanse me with Your precious Blood. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Thank You, for saving me! Now I know, I am born again!

I know this teaching has blessed you. Write and share your testimony with me through: Faith Tabernacle, Canaan Land, Ota, P.M.B. 21688, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria; or call 7747546-8; or E-mail: feedback@lfcww.org

  • ‘God told me I’d have stroke’

‘God told me I’d have stroke’

The founder of the Evangelical Church of Yahweh, Primate Theophilus Olabayo, spoke with Sunday Oguntola on his battle with stroke and sundry issues. Excerpts:

You went off the radar for some years, what really happened?

I have been talking. A prophet doesn’t just say things at random. It’s when God asks me to speak that I speak.

So you were not speaking because God did not ask you to?

Many at times, I warned our leaders but they don’t have listening ears. When Yar’ Adua was here, I was the only one who said YarAdua had a terminal disease. When the condition was serious, the wife called some of us to Abuja and she said we should say the husband would not die. I was the only one who said her husband would die and Jonathan will act and become president. I now told Jonathan, I said it’s better to allow northerners to come, if not there’ll be terrorism and bombing. People said it can’t happen. I told Jonathan they will make the country ungovernable for him. Is it not happening now? You see, something worse than Boko Haram is about to happen soonest.

You said you told Jonathan that they would make the country ungovernable for him, what was his response?

People that are backing him see me as a prophet of doom.

That is one challenge Nigerians have with you over the years. People say how many of your prophecies have come true. They throw that challenge openly…

What of MKO Abiola? I was the one who said he was going to win the election and not be made the president and he will die. There’s no prophecy that has not come to pass. What of East and West judgment, international community? I’ve been speaking the word of God, not only once or twice and the prophecies have been coming to pass. I’m not God and I cannot be 100 percent but I’m above men. Whenever I write, people now copy my prophecies. That’s why I don’t write prophecies any longer.

At a point you had some health challenges, which perhaps made you to lay off for some time. What is the current situation?

I did not lay off. Elijah was sick and in the process he was still doing God’s work. In the sickness, I had an attack

    A spiritual attack?

Yes, a spiritual attack but I’m still hale and hearty

What’s the nature of the sickness?

Spirit cannot die. The spirit of God cannot die in you. The body may be weak but it doesn’t matter. But the spirit cannot die. God will continue to speak through you.

    You have stroke?

It’s not a big thing that someone has stroke and I’m okay

You believe it was a spiritual attack?

Before I had that stroke, God revealed to me that I’ll be away for some time that I’m going to have stroke. So I looked for someone who knows about stroke, one of my pastors

    God told you before?

    Yes. Had it in Kaduna

So when it happened, it was not a shock to you?

No because I knew I’d have stroke

How did it happen and what was your first reaction?

I was going for a revival and God said I should go with somebody who knows about stroke. The man had to follow me to Kaduna. When I got to Kaduna, they told me one of my townsmen was sick. When I got there, God said that I should not do anything. I saw him suffering. I got a room for him. I told God let me help him out of this problem, that’s all. I paid the bills and left. When I was coming back, I was on fasting

Did you pray for the man?

I prayed for the man. When I was coming back, I had an attack. That’s how I had that attack

On your way back to Lagos?

No, it was on my way back to the church in Kaduna. God told me before that I’ll be away for some time. God told me I’ll have stroke. It’s not new.

So it’s nothing out of the ordinary because in this life, when ministers of God are sick, they tend to hide it like our political leaders. I’m not a political leader. I don’t hide my things. I had stroke.

And you’ve been going for medical treatment?

    Definitely

And you’ve also been praying about it?

    Yes

So what makes you believe it’s a spiritual attack?

I know because God told me about it

Did He tell you the source of the attack?

I knew it’d be exhaustion. I pray and fast a lot

But what really happened to Yahweh Evangelical Church? Several years ago, it was the happening church. Everybody was coming then but we are not hearing much of it lately

If you come, you’ll see what is happening. Come on Sunday and see. It’s still the same thing. This is another environment and God is using people.

Some people believe it appears the light has gone off the church or something

The light cannot go off. You cannot kill the light of God. Even when I had the attack, I didn’t have time to be ministering as before but God is still here.

When did you have this attack?

    1996

That was a long time ago

Yes, long time. God told me I’d be away for some time. God did not tell me how many years.

So you were away for over 10 years?

    Yes

How did it make you feel? Didn’t you feel disappointed that God made you go through that process considering how much you have done for His kingdom?

I cannot be disappointed. There are people that are blind. There are people that have cancer; there are people that are dead. That was about the same case with Idahosa and he died. I am not more righteous than Idahosa but I have the grace of God and my work is not yet completed

People said one of the reasons the church went down was because you were caught in adultery with somebody else’s wife. Is it true?

God will forgive you. Where did that happen? It is rumourthat is killing you people. That is why Nigeria cannot move forward. How do you expect me who preach the word of God, I preach against adultery, then I’ll be caught in such an act?Impossible. Anybody can lie against you

If you want to categorise your church, is it a white garment church?

Not a white garment church, it’s aPentecostal church

But you are not a member of PFN

    We are members

How come people go into trance here if it is not a white garment church?

That is where Pentecostal churches are missing it. They say they don’t believe in vision. It’s because they don’t have that gift, that’s why they run other people down. Apostle Paul was in trance. There are nine gifts of God, prophecy is one of it. There are other gifts we are using, we are doing deliverance and the word of God is great in our church

Are you not thinking of passing over the baton to someone else at your age?

I have a calling. I am a prophet and it is not hereditary. God can choose anybody. When it’s time for me, God will tell me to lay my hand on the person. God has not told me yet. I’m still a young man and I’m not old.

Are you grooming anybody to succeed you?

There are so many people that are coming up, not only one person. Among them, God will raise up leaders. We have young pastors coming up in the church who have the gift of the word of God. Not only vision alone, people believe that it’s when you just speak in tongues alone or see vision, no. there are different types of gifts.

Many churches do not survive the death of the founders. Are you sure that won’t happen with your church?

It can’t happen here because it’s God that called me. When it is time, God will raise up another leader among us

What is God saying about Nigeria now?

We are sitting on a keg of gunpowder. We are looking at total darkness in the nation. We need to pray very well because these political people are not doing the right things. Nothing is working; the worst corruption is in Nigeria. I know you’ll be scared to write all these down.

There has never been corruption as worse as this. The name of Nigeria is now corruption and some of the journalists are not helping matters. People are being bribed. But there’s going to be a revolution. The poor will trench the rich. You’ve not seen anything. You’ve not seen Boko Haram. Worse Boko Haram is about to happen and we have to pray against religious war that may last seven years.

Let Jonathan drop 2015 and work. Let him work, let the work speak for itself because it’s most of his leaders that are talking carelessly.

When are you buying a private jet?

I’m content with the gift God has given me to save souls. Some of these people are armed robbers. Some of these pastors have estates, oil blocks and their universities are more expensive. I know you are not going to write all these down because you are part of them. You are afraid of them.

If you are not careful, some of these churches will turn to financial organisations. It’s now trade by barter. They are no more saying the truth.

It’s amazing that you are still your old self. When are you ever going to get tired?

I can’t be tired. They have tried me. During Abacha’s tenure, I was the only one condemning Abacha. That day, my phone just stopped working. I knew it was their handiwork. When he came, God revealed to me and I told him you are going to land into problem, your oga will die. Before Abacha died, one Austin came to me. He said he has a friend, Abubakar. I said he’s going to be next president and Abacha will die and it happened. There’s nobody that God cannot catch, Jonathan, Anenih and others if hundred pastors and Mallams are praying for them, they can’t survive. God is about to move if they don’t change and repent because they have put us under bondage for long. These pastors, let them change.

  • RCCG empowers 30 widows

    RCCG empowers 30 widows

For 30 widows in Lagos province 17 of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), it was all smiles last week.

They received economic empowerment courtesy of the women’s fellowship of the church aimed at changing their status in the society.

The empowerment session was the height of the 3-day Sisters’ Convention with the theme “reliable daughters of zion at the end time”.

The widows drawn from the 30 areas in the province were given support items such as grinding machines, deep freezers, hairdressing equipment, clothes and foodstuffs free of charge.

Also, hundreds of residents within the neighbourhood were offered free medical check-up during the convention.

The wife of the provincial pastor, Pastor (Mrs.) Christiana Omunagbe, explained that the schemes were aimed at addressing deep-seated poverty among the beneficiaries.

She lamented that the nation has failed to address acute hunger and unemployment, stating that such omission does not portend well for collective well-being.

Omunagbe said: “There is no more integrity, transparency and accountability. The whole world is looking unto us as women of honesty to influence positive change.”

She assured that the women have been trained for better economic performances, adding that mentors have been assigned to offer them free advice after investment.

According to her, women in the province have built a sanctuary in Olambe area of Ogun State.

She added that two maternity centres have been added in the province through the efforts of the women fellowship.

A speaker at the convention, Pastor (Mrs.) Victoria Obayemi, advised women to be concerned about the spiritual well-being of their families.

Speaking on keeping the fire of our homes burning, Obayemi, who is the wife of the pastor- in- charge of Region 2, said: “Women are the home makers and the responsibility to keep the fire of the homes burning lies with us.”

She advised all women to get busy and start stoking the fire with the fuel of caring, companionship, complete commitment, charitable communication, appreciation, responsibility, forgiveness, romance and active spiritual involvement.

The beneficiaries exuded joy during the presentation.

  • Tunde Abiola’s return

He used to be a frontline society personality and the famous husband of an equally famous actress and performer, Clarion Chukwurah. But that was in those good days when his elder brother and great philanthropist the late M. K. O. Abiola was alive. Tunde was the toast of society and his marriage to Clarion Chukwurah was blessed with a child that both of them adore. But things soon fell apart between him and his celebrity wife, which made both of them decide to part ways. For some years, Tunde Abiola remained in the background, choosing a recluse life at his off Allen Avenue residence in Lagos. The good news, however, is that Engr. Tunde Abiola is back. In recent times, he has been spotted in the company of his new wife, who has a son for him. H e again flaunted his charming wife and son for all to see, after a recent family meeting. It was obvious that he is indeed enjoying his new-found marital status. “I’m living the good life again,” he proudly said.

  • The hidden blessing in persecution

Matt. 5: 11- 12 says, “Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.”

Beloved, Christianity is all about persecution and victory. No Christian can boast of his faith if he has not been persecuted. Persecution, false accusation, etc are the trademark of the people of the world. The history of early Christians is characterised by persecution, threat, death of which great numbers were burnt alive on such accusations that could not be substantiated. So, if, in the honest effort to be Christians, and to live the life of Christians by trying to win souls for Christ, others persecute and revile us, we are to consider this as a blessing. We should take it patiently to show to the world how much the Christians under the consciousness of innocence, can bear persecution. For that is evidence that we are the children of God.

Luke 23: 21-23 & 25 says, “But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. 22 And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let him go. 23 And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed…. 25 And he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison, whom they had desired; but he delivered Jesus to their will”.

No sin occasioned the death of Christ but that we might be saved. The Chief priests delivered Him up to Pilate to crucify and Pilate was very unwilling to be the instrument of our Saviour’s death because he knew there was nothing that could justify him to put Christ to death. Thus, Jesus was pronounced guiltless and justified by his judge but yet crucified for His innocence. So, it is expected that whosoever gives himself entirely up to God and His righteousness, making the Holy Scriptures the rule of his words and actions, will be scorned, reviled and persecuted.

1 Thessalonians 3: 3 says, “That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto”. All Christians are exposed to persecution, and should not hope to avoid it and God imparts the highest rewards to those who suffer most. Hence the crown of martyrdom has been thought to be the brightest that any of the redeemed shall wear and hence many of the early Christians sought to become martyrs, and threw themselves in the way of their persecutors, so that they might be put to death. And literally they rejoiced, and leaped for joy, at the prospect of death for the sake of Jesus.

All that was to show that there is something in living a righteous life that can sustain the soul, which the-world does not possess, because nothing but the consciousness of innocence could have borne them up in the midst of these trials and the flame that was kindled to consume the martyr has also been a bright light, showing the truth and power of the gospel of Jesus.

You may not enjoy persecution but you need it and in it is your blessing. Do not look at the fiery trials as unusual things, but to expect them, and prepare for them, for it will come but when it comes because you are prepared for it, it will strike but will not hurt you.

The scandals, afflictions and persecutions which fall upon God’s people are to try them, not to consume them, to try their graces, and destroy their corruptions, to give them opportunity to make proof of the truth of their faith, sincerity, and constancy. The duty which God expects and requires from them who suffer these fiery persecutions for the sake of His Son is for them to rejoice and be exceedingly glad for their reward is at hand.Comments and enquiries to heavenatlast2003 @yahoo.com; 07037911600.

  • Engaging the breakthrough power of faith (2)

    Welcome to your regular column.

Your personal engagement is key to the fulfillment of prophecy in your life. Nobody can fulfill destiny on your behalf. It will require your own faith, for it is to you according to your faith (Matthew 9:29). Therefore, to see prophecies fulfilled in your life:

    1. Take heed to them: The prophecies you don’t take heed to will never get fulfilled in your life. We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts…(2 Peter 1:19-21).

Recount and re-echo them (Proverb 4:20-23). Any prophecy you mock, you cannot partake of its benefits. If you count yourself out, you are out!

    2. Engage in spiritual warfare to see them fulfilled: This means, engaging in prayer. Put up a fight of faith to ensure the delivery of your own portion. This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare; (1 Timothy 1:18).

You are called to engage in a fight, so you can ward off every adversary (1 Corinthians 16:9), and lay hold of what eternal life has in store for you (1 Timothy 6:12). You can’t be a spiritual civilian and conquer; you conquer as a soldier (2 Timothy 2:3).

    3. Give yourself wholly to the demands of the prophetic word: There is always a part you have to play, before you can commit God to do His part. When you give yourself wholly to those things, your profiting will be seen by all. Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all (1Timothy 4:15). You need to work it out, not play with it.

Make Your Faith Set: If faith is so powerful, then why do we appear so powerless? It is because our faith is not rooted and grounded enough. Every change of level meets people suddenly. Except your faith is ready, you will trash it. If your faith is not set, you will miss your set time. You need a set faith to take delivery of your next levels. Therefore, you need to build your faith or it will fail you when your lifting comes.

Invest in making your faith set, by tapping into the depth that God has given to those who have it. Henceforth, every step you take towards building your faith, will produce amazing results. Grace to partner with God through building up your faith, receive it right now!

Unveiling The Demand Of Faith: It is important to understand that every prophecy must be personally received, personally believed, personally expected, personally anticipated and personally fulfilled. It has to be personalized or you will just be singing it as a slogan.

So, it takes your own faith to be saved; no one can be saved on your behalf. In the same way that it takes your own faith to be healed, it also takes your own faith to have victory.

Even though God called Abraham and Sarah, He still dealt with them on individual basis (Isaiah 51:2). So, it’s vital for us to appreciate the individuality dimension of the race of life; that will take us to our next levels.

Also note that It is not to you according to the prayers of anybody; it is only to you according to your faith. Even when you are being prayed for, your faith must be able to connect with it or you won’t get it.

Remember, Jesus went to Nazareth and laid hands on people; but Jesus in whom the fullness of God dwelt, could do no mighty work,… And He marvelled because of their unbelief… (Mark 6:5-6). So, the anointing in your presence does not make a difference. It takes your faith to connect with the anointing.

Friend, the power to see set your faith is the preserve of those redeemed. You are redeemed as you confess your sins and accept Jesus as your Saviour and Lord. If you are set for this new birth experience, please say this prayer: Lord Jesus, I come to you today. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins. Cleanse me with your precious blood. Today, I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Thank You, for saving me! Now I know, I am born again! I will conclude this teaching next week.
