  • Nigerians will smile again soon-Odumbaku

The current sufferings of Nigerians will end very soon, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Cardinal Prophet James Odumbaku has promised.

He said the APC-led administration will salvage the country from socio-economic hardships.

Odumbaku, who is also a cleric, gave the assurance at the quarterly ‘Sacred Night’ programme of The Sacred Cherubim and Seraphim Church of Nigeria and Overseas at the sanctuary sacred land Ipetumodu, Osun state with the theme: ‘I will bless you’.

According to him, no amount of quick- fix measures adopted by the three- year- old administration of President Muhammadu Buhari could obliterate the sixteen years plundering of the nation’s resources by the previous government.

According to him: “Yes there is suffering in the land but it is a transition. We have just started putting all things right, taking all our resources back from the hawks.

“Those who have milked dry this nation in quantum. So what they have completely destroyed in sixteen years cannot be rebuilt in three years.

“That is the irony of it but with time suffering like what obtains in the process of inscribing a tribal mark though painful but after healing brings about beauty. In a very short while Nigeria will witness a time of ease.”

Odumbaku described the programme as a rallying point to redirect worldviews of white garment churches.

“The speculations about the white garment churches as fetish and biblically illiterate and all that are reasons people drift away from our church but they are not true.

“We worship the true God. It is all fallacy to say that we are fetish. What about them who collect money at random from people?

“We don’t do that. Can you see what we and our general leader have done? It is not about money, money, money but about the salvation of souls.

“That is why people are coming back into the white garment churches. That is why I am proud to be a member,” he said.

On restructuring, the Vice Chairman of Lagos APC said that people are clamouring and the majority always has their way.

“I am a part of the government so I have much to do from within the confines of our rules and regulations that bind political juggernauts,” he explained.

Reacting to the rumour that he has been pencilled for the chairmanship of the party in Lagos, Odumbaku said the party structure will do the needful as he is committed to do whatever God says.

Chief host and revivalist, His Most Eminence, The Most Elder Apostle Prophet Dr. Solomon Alao (JP), cited the importance of faith in Christendom, giving life testimonies of divine intervention through deep communion with him.

A renowned Evangelist, Reverend Prophetess Esther Ajayi, founder, Love of Christ Generation C&S Church London, United Kingdom, who wore white garment like every other sacred C&S member at the event, said the Lord is about to do a new thing in C&S.

She stated in another two to three years if anybody is not a member they might be ashamed of themselves.

Ajayi distributed thousands of copies of the Bible to participants as a covenant to further proclaim the gospel.

  • Church renovates health centre, donate equipment

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint yesterday completed the renovation and repairs of the dilapidated Comprehensive Health Centre, Azikoro-Epie, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

The church members, comprising elders, women and children from various walks of life, arrived the health centre and its environs at about 8am, rolled their sleeves and commenced the last lap of their work.

The members, who attracted the admiration and praises of the residents, came with loads of medical equipment and other materials for the health facility.

They repainted the walls, mopped the floor, cleared the surroundings of weeds and vegetation and repaired the roofs of the facility.

The Paramount Ruler of Azikoro-Epie, His Royal Highness Amandoko Clement, heaped encomiums on the church for its humanitarian efforts.

He said the church came to salvage health centre and help residents and other neighbouring communities to get quality healthcare.

He said: “This is not the first time that this church has done this. They took up the challenge that where they operate should not be left alone without showing their kindness.

“They have set example for the other churches. I have not seen other churches come up like this to renovate the health centre, bring in equipment to assist, so this church has come to salvage the community and impact us positively. Other churches should emulate what they’re doing.

“This is a good one, I commend them for their work and I will support them to ensure that they grow from grace to grace. I will talk to my people and encourage them to worship with them”.

A senior member of the church and part-time Consultant with the Department of Community Medicine, Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital (NDUTH), Dr. Sawyer Ebiye, said the intervention was timely.

The State President of the Church, Akekere Jonah, explained that the health centre was selected because of its strategic location and for being an affiliate of the Niger Delta University (NDU).

He said the facility serves as a training ground for the medical students of the university’s Department of Community Medicine.

He added that the need to take care of both the spiritual and physical health of the people motivated the church to undertake the project.

The church leader explained that work on the facility started three weeks ago but that it was brought to its climax yesterday when the church donated medical equipment to the health centre.

He asked the community to work with the health workers to ensure the sustainability of the equipment and the health centre.

Providing more explanations, the Bishop of the Kpansia area of the church, Bishop Tano Agusomo, said: “We have renovated several other health centres in this Yenagoa. We renovated that of Amarata two years ago. We have also renovated that of Yenizue-Epie some three years back.

“We have also worked to clean up the Diette Koki Memorial Hospital and several times we have cleaned up the Federal Medical Centre particularly the children’s ward”.

  • 2019: God will reshuffle Nigeria at all levels, says cleric

A cleric, Ezekiel Acha, has assured of God’s determination to cause major upsets in the nation ahead of the 2019 general elections.

God, he claimed, has promised to reshuffle the nation’s political scene from the presidency to the local governments during the elections.

The Abia-based prophet, who spoke while briefing newsmen, said God directed him specifically to come to Abuja and deliver the message to the entire nation.

He said since killings, destruction and starvation are everywhere in the country, God is moved to take actions based on the blood of the innocent crying before Him day and night.

Acha said: “I, the Almighty God will never, ever allow what happened in 1966, about 52 years ago to repeat itself anymore.

“For a long time I kept silent. I did not answer my people but now the time to answer them has come

“The sky is loaded with blood vapour and blood is flowing all over Nigeria.

“Yet some group of people are still killing millions and more souls, why? It is because the law is weak and useless and justices never done.

“It is time to give my people good leaders come 2019. Those who will show them love, peace, unity, kindness and also bring justice to all levels and no more rulers anymore.”

He added: “Therefore any fortunate person that found him or herself in any of these important positions come 2019 and goes contrary will die instantly, I the sovereign Lord and the Almighty has spoken

“I, the Almighty God will shake this nation called Nigeria, over throw their kingdoms and destroy all their occult powers.

“I will also remove and destroy all the cankerworms and reshuffle from the presidency to local government authorities.

“I will destroy the groups and individuals responsible for the cry of my people hoping that nobody sees them.”

  • RCCG First Born family empowers students, widows at 30

Over 140 less privileged, including students and widows last Sunday received empowerment support courtesy of parishes and churches under Region 19 of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Lagos.

Popularly known as First Born Family, the parishes and churches gave the widows undisclosed cheque each and awarded scholarships to 15 students of the Redeemers University Nigeria (RUN).

98 grinding machines at the cost of N35, 000 were also distributed free to the needy to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Region, which started the model parish experiment in the RCCG.

Pastor-in-charge of Region 19, Pastor Brown Oyitso, said the gestures were to give the less privileged a facelift and support them through life.

He informed the region was not only committed to their spiritual but also their physical and financial well-being.

Distributing the items to the beneficiaries at the Tafawa Balewa Square venue of the 30th anniversary with the theme from glory to glory, wife of the general overseer, Pastor Mrs. Folu Adeboye, urged them to reproduce the seeds.

She described the items as seeds of greatness, which if well planted, will turn the beneficiaries to employer of labour and wealth creators.

Ministering at the anniversary that attracted thousands of worshippers, general overseer of RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye described glory as anything that causes shame.

He said there was nothing glorious in poverty, sin, sickness or captivity, asserting God was indeed in the glorious manifestations of His children.

To move from glory to glory, he said Christians must obey God and hand over everything to Him.

He added that no one becomes rich by being stingy, urging Christians to sow bountifully for manifold harvests.

Adeboye also harped on diligence, saying those who emerge glorious are never slothful but always begged to take a rest from their several endeavours.

Emphasising the needs to be in Christ for glorious living, Adeboye said: “If Christ is dwelling in you, you will be full of glory. Christ is the King of glory. If you associate with Him, glory will be your portion.”

  • Bishop to church leaders: don’t take over God’s work

The Bishop of Diocese of Ekiti West Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, the Right Reverend Rufus Adepoju, has warned church leaders not to take over God’s work in their churches.

Adepoju gave the warning in his sermon at the induction service for new Vicar/Archdeacon for Erijiyan Archdeaconry, the Venerable Michael Olatunji Oguntuase, at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Erijiyan-Ekiti in Ekiti West Local Government Area.

According to a statement by the Diocesan Communicator, Prince Sola Adetule, the bishop enjoined the congregation to cooperate with the new Archdeacon and other priests working under him rather than criticising them.

The highpoint of the ceremony was the handing over of the bishop’s seat in the church to the Archdeacon.

He was also conducted round the church’s property and assets.

The bishop warned that criticism against the Archdeacon cannot lead to his removal unjustly saying “with the oath of office he (Oguntuase) had just taken, he should be left to the judgment of God for appropriate actions.

The cooperation with the church leaders, the bishop noted, would bring growth and development to all the churches in the archdeaconry.

Adepoju stated on assumption of office as the Bishop of Ekiti

West Diocese, he has been able to ensure that vicars and archdeacons as well as other workers of Diocese are paid well like their counterparts in other dioceses.

He advised the vicars and archdeacons to carry out their spiritual work conscientiously and cooperate with their congregations.

The induction service was witnessed by the wife of the bishop, Mrs. Christiana Tolulope Adepoju; former Deputy Vice Chancellor  Ekiti State University, Prof. Yinka Ogunlade,  all Archdeacons, Vicars and other church officials.

  • Provoking favour through kingdom advancement endeavours!

Welcome to this new week of great things. I hope you were blessed through last week’s teaching. May God engrace us for noiseless breakthroughs via soul winning in Jesus’ name! Today, we shall focus on Provoking Favour Through Kingdom Advancement Endeavours!

From scriptures, we understand that seeking first the Kingdom of God is key to a world of supernatural favour. When we favour God’s interest, the time to favour us has come because nothing flies like favour in the journey of life. Also, commitment to Kingdom advancement endeavours brings us into favour with God and with men. For instance, praying for the needs of others provokes God to meet our own needs too. It is important to recognise that Kingdom addicts never run out of favour. In other words, if we are genuinely committed to the advancement, enlargement, expansion of His kingdom, we will never run out of favour.

Examples of those who Experienced Favour via Kingdom Advancement Endeavours

    • Nehemiah: He was informed that the people of Judah that escaped captivity in Jerusalem were in great affliction and reproach and the wall of Jerusalem was broken down and the gates burnt down by fire. Then, Nehemiah prayed and fasted for certain days, the hand of the Lord came upon him and indescribable favour was unleashed on his life. The Bible records: And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire. And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven, And said, I beseech thee, O Lord God of heaven, the great and terrible God, that keepeth covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandments: Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father’s house have sinned (Nehemiah 1:3-6).And he found favour in the sight of the king(Nehemiah 2:8). All his outrageous requests were granted by the king without hesitation. The wall was reconstructed in fifty-two days. As a result, he obtained favour from God and was promoted from a Cup Bearer to a Governor! (Nehemiah 5:14).
    • Joseph: Slavery should be the height of misfortune but Joseph, the slave, obtained favour in the sight of his master he became heir to the family he never belonged to. As it is written: And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand. And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the Lord blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the Lord was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field (Genesis 39:4-5). Also, he was imprisoned for a thing he never did and he was locked up in realm of misfortune. But he found favour in the sight of the keeper of the prisoner and became a staff in prison (Genesis 39:21-23). Joseph’s life looked pitiable but it ended up enviable.
    • Esther: She prayed and fasted with her maids to save God’s people from annihilation. It is written: Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish (Esther 4:16). Then, favour came down from heaven for her before the king, death translated to life and the whole generation of Israel was delivered (Esther 5:8). Remember, the persons in the three examples above were slaves who God decorated because of service to His Kingdom.
    • Job: The Bible records: And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before (Job 42:10). So, press for favour, it is one of the benefits of Kingdom advancement endeavours.

In summary, if we want favour for our destiny to keep advancing, then we must seek first the Kingdom of God by engaging in Kingdom advancement endeavours. But, you must be born again in order to do that effectively. Are you born again? If you are not, this is an opportunity to do so. Simply say the following prayer: Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me my sins. Cleanse me with Your precious Blood. Today, I accept You as my Lord and personal Saviour. Thank You Jesus for saving me! Now I know I am born again!” For further reading, please get my books: The Force Of Freedom, The Turnaround Power Of The Word, Following The Path Of The Eagle, Born To Win, All You Need To Have All Your Needs Met and Fulfilling Your Days. • Stop threatening to throw stones!

Text:”………He that is without sin among you……cast a stone (John 8:7)

That life is fraught with accusers, is a truism; that the world is rife with false accusers is neither strange nor new; that lots of stories and messages being bandied in the social media are fraught with evil intentions, false, malicious and wicked is incontrovertible. In a lot of cases, it has been noted with alarming dismay that either the wrong or right accusers are engaging in same or similar offences but theirs are still covered and yet to be exposed. What this brings to the fore is that lots of accusers are supposed to be accused too.

Once, the Pharisees and Scribes came to Jesus Christ in the temple after returning from the Mount of Olives with stones in one hand, the constitution of Moses in the other hand and screams on their lips. They brought a woman who had been caught in adultery and were quoting sections and sub-sections of the constitution which stipulated that whosoever committed such an offence must be stoned to death and they wanted Jesus Christ to validate what the constitution had said to enable them stone the woman to death (Lev. 20:10; Deut. 22:22). Besides the fact that they wanted the woman to be stoned, their demand was also a ploy to set a theological trap for Jesus Christ.

If Jesus Christ had given them a go-ahead to stone her, they would have accused Him of violating the Roman law under which the Jews were as Palestine was a part of the Roman empire and under that law, capital punishment could not be exercised for such an offence. Conversely, if He had said that the woman should not be stoned, they would still have accused Him of violating the Old Testament law. Human beings will always set booby-traps to ensnare others in their desperate bids to achieve diabolical plans and aspirations. May the Almighty God deliver you from every trap set by agents of darkness at home, work and commission, to steal your glory, pull you down from the pedestal that God has placed you or destroy your mission and/or commission, in Jesus’ name.

For the fact that the accusers failed to bring the man that committed the act with that woman for punishment, according to the law of Moses, might suggest that the accusers could have set the woman up with the sole aim of putting her to death. It may not have been unlikely that the man that allegedly committed the act with the woman was a part of the frame-up. That conspiracy theory is not new to history. An example was King Ahab who coveted the little vineyard of Naboth and when all attempts by the King to take Naboth’s inheritance from him failed, Queen Jezebel wrote letters in Ahab’s name to the elders and the nobles to “…….Proclaim a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people: And set two men, sons of Belial, before him, to bear witness against him, saying, Thou didst blaspheme God and the king. And then carry him out, and stone him, that he may die” (1Kings 21:8-10). Naboth was accused of what he didn’t do and he was killed for an offence he never committed while the masterminds of the false accusation took over what rightly belonged to Naboth – what a life!

The same thing played out when David after he had slept with Bathsheba, wife to one of his soldiers; Uriah – a man of high integrity and unimaginable sense of duty, and put her in the family way. David tried all he could to cover his sin by forcing the pregnancy on Uriah but when all his attempts failed, he returned Uriah to the battlefield and wrote a letter that the commanders should “Set ye Uriah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be smitten, and die” (2 Samuel 11:15). Uriah was setup in battle, he was killed before his time and David took over Bathsheba, his wife.

Joseph too had same experience in the hands of Potiphar because he refused to commit adultery with her. She turned the accusation on Joseph which sent the innocent young boy to prison for a crime he never committed (Genesis 39:1-29). Jesus Christ was not spared of this illegal setup in the hands of the Chief priests, elders and all of the council in their determination to put him to death. They, “… sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death; But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses (Matt. 26:59-60). With the words of false accusers, the innocent one and Saviour of the world was nailed to the cross.

Jesus Christ, who knows the inner recesses of the heart of man and does not need anyone to testify of man to Him (John 2:25 cf Jeremiah 17:9-10), saw through the hearts of the accusers of the woman ‘caught in the act’, He stooped, started to write something on the ground but when they persisted with their demand, He confirmed the validity of the law being quoted but added that, “…… He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her” (John 8:7). All the accusers left one by one, beginning from the oldest.

It is curious to note that all her accusers were not spared of sin either (Romans 3:23; 1John 1:8); and by implication, all of them qualified to be stoned in accordance with the constitution according to Moses. When Jesus Christ raised His head, He asked the woman “…where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more” (John 8:10-11).

Brethren, what Jesus Christ demands from us as His children is to show understanding for those that are yet to be delivered from sin and provide support to anyone that has sinned or sinning through our prayer of intercession and not join hands to discuss, malign and cast stones forgetting that none is immuned against being stoned, if the law of Moses were to be implemented to the letters.

It is therefore our responsibility as candidates on our way to heaven to bring sinners to the knowledge and saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. We have an obligation to de-populate hell and enlarge heaven through the support we provide for drug addicts, prostitutes, drunks,  adulterers, thieves etc. Jesus Christ who saved Saul on his way to commit a more heinous crime against His disciples and changed him to Paul is a God that will not cast stones, will never support stone casting of whatever sort, will never bear offences or hold anything against anyone (Acts 9:1-19). He was the one that saved Mary called Magdalene “…out of whom went seven devils” and adopted her to the household of faith (Luke 8:2); He does not write anyone off, no matter the sins that have been committed. Jesus Christ has a large heart to bring sinners home, provided they confess those sins and pledge not to return to the path of sin again (Isaiah 1:18).

Jesus Christ did not come to implement the stone casting law neither would he cast any stone Himself. He “…came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance” (Luke 5:32; 1 Timothy 1:15; Matthew 15:24; Luke 19:10). During this time of lent brethren, let this same mind be in you, stop throwing stones or joining the league of ‘stone-throwers’, stop judging others consequent on their misdemeanours, show understanding, provide support, intercede more for people you know that have erred from the path of truth and pray that God will bring them from utter darkness into His marvellous light, in the name of Jesus.

Prayer: Father, during this time of lent, give us grace to work worthy of you, not to join the league of ‘stone-throwers’ but rather to bring sinners to your light, in Jesus’ name.

  • There is revival at His arrival

Text: “…… when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. ( Luke 5:5-6)

In sundry places the Bible admonished us never to trust in anyone, no matter how intelligent, seemingly kind, nice or trustworthy the person may be (Jer.17:5-8). Human beings have limitations but the Almighty God who created the heavens and the earth is unlimited in power. He created everything and they are all subject to His desires and commands (Psalm 62:11; John 1:3; Col.1:16-17). He is “the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth.”…. never faints or gets weary … there is no searching of His understanding. He ……. gives power to the faint, and to the people with no might, He increases their strength” (Is. 40:28-29;cf John 15:1-5).

The passage from where our text is picked tells a story of a professional fisherman, a man who knew his onions when it came to fishing, a man who knew that to be a successful fisherman, you must go fishing at night, that the spoils you get is dependent on the tools you work with and experience of your workforce. The man, Simon Peter, complied with all that was needful to be successful in the business but regrettably, he failed woefully. While he was washing his net, Jesus Christ arrived at the scene, saw the other fishermen but had favour on Simon Peter, He requested to use his boat for evangelism work and he obliged. When he did this, Jesus decided to pay him for his service and asked him to cast his net into the deep where he had previously failed. Suddenly, the unimaginable happened as fishes that had hitherto fled his net returned in very large numbers such that he had a net tearing and boat sinking experience.

Beloved, revival from death to life, transition from a nobody to somebody and elevation from being useless to a useful vessel begins with His arrival and the decision to obey His instructions. When He steps into the boat of your life, as He did with Simon, His favour will bring to you what you don’t deserve as He did with the Israelites. In Exodus 12:36 when the Israelites were leaving the land of bondage, it was recorded that “.. the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.” (cf 1 Kings 11:18-20; Nehemiah 2:4-6).

Beloved, whenever He steps into the boat of your life, He suspends the laws of nature, destroys whatever is called impossibilities, rebukes powers holding you to the same position and opens the gateway of awesome testimonies (Isaiah 65:21-24). The favour of God does not only give what is undeserved but makes a way where one never knew that there was one – His favour literarily suspends all natural laws as He did with Simon Peter.

Queen Esther found herself in a quagmire when Mordecal asked her to intervene in the predicament of the Jews who through the conscription of Haman were about to be exterminated. It probably would have been easy for her to plead the cause of her people before the King but she wasn’t permitted by law to see the King except the King called for her. Anyone who flouted this law would be put to death. Mindless of this law, Queen Esther requested her people to fast and pray for her as she was determined to face the King. God accepted the fasting and prayers of the Jews, she went in to the King “… and when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre. Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom (Esther 5:2-3).

When His favour comes to you brethren, God will grant you unbelievable elevation and recognition such that where you have been called a nobody, He would make you an eternal excellency and the joy of many generations. Then, “… the sons of strangers shall build up your walls, and their kings shall minister unto you, your gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto you the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought. For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted” (Isaiah 60:10-12) – Halleluyah!

The only guarantee for progress in whatever area of life (business, marriage, ministry, education, economy etc) is the arrival of His favour. No wonder the Scripture says that, it’s “…..not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it”. (Zech. 4:6-7). His arrival removes every human and/or spiritual mountains, destroys satanic foundations or evil inheritances plaguing lives and destinies, breaks curses from known and unknown quarters, liberates from evil captivity and releases to awesome testimonies. (cf Acts 2:47).

During this season of lent, you need to surrender all of you (time, talent and treasures) to Him like Simon did, obey Him to the letter, trust absolutely in the Lord with all your heart, don’t lean unto your own understanding ( Prov. 3:5) and don’t rationalise how your miracles will come. The Almighty God who turned things around for Simon Peter shall do likewise for you. You shall not only have a net breaking and boat sinking experiences but you shall be an eternal reference point like Simon Peter, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Father, give me grace of your divine visitation today and let your favour take me from where I am to where you have purposed for me, in Jesus’ name.

  • James: It’s not over for Nigeria

General Overseer of Elshaddai Covenant Ministries Lagos Dr James O. James has declared Nigeria is not finished despite the parlous state of affairs in the country.

He cautioned Nigerians against giving up on the country because “it is not over for us.”

He spoke last week with reporters ahead of the Easter leadership conference of the church with the theme restore.

The conference slated for March 29-April holds in the Lagos headquarters of the church.

Reflecting on the massive relocation of Nigerians overseas for abroad in views of the socio-economic hardship in the land, James said: “Nigeria is not finished. America was worse than this during the Great Depression.

“Israel was worse off. So, Nigeria will be restored I can assure people.”

He admitted Nigeria has lost so much grounds, pointing out the nation was not what it used to be years ago.

Yet, James said there were still massive opportunities for those who will not give up on the country.

According to him: “It’s all up to us. We cannot give up in despair. Someone is not going to come from nowhere to save us. We are the ones that must deliver ourselves.”
