  • Book on divine purpose for Africa out

A new book God’s vision and purpose for Africa has been published.

The author, Toks Ero, described the book as a message from God on Africa, saying it is a mix of revelation, prophecy, inspiration, instruction and warnings.

“It reveals God’s agenda for a continent that He has personally taken ownership of variously describing Africa as ‘My’ and ‘Mine’.

“A divine and pragmatic guide to inspire and quicken a new generation of young Africans and Christian leaders to action the book provides the lenses to peek at Gods vision of Africa while providing practical steps to force a metamorphosis and birth this new, model and glorious Africa reflecting its Heavenly version,” he stressed

According to him, God’s agenda is to declare Africa a wholly Christian continent; a developed continent, and one propelled by a new generation of young Christian leaders.

“God has called us to go all out and ensure that His will is done in the continent. We are called to make a difference in all spheres of human endeavor; not just in ministry but in business, politics, governance, technology, arts, education, and others,” he writes.

He urges his readers to understand that we are always in a battle.

“The scripture says the kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent takes it by force. You must fight to enter your land of Canaan. You must fight to stay there.”

  • God of Perfection at ERM (C & S)

The annual 40- night in the presence of God with the theme God of perfection by Evangelical Revival Ministry Cherubim and Seraphim Church has commenced.

Venue is 15, General Headquarters, 17/19, Aborisade road, Lawanson, Surulere, Lagos.

The host, Special Apostle Akapo Olusegun, assured participants will receive salvation, deliverance, harvest of miracles and divine breakthrough.

  • Primate Olabayo declares war on corrupt politicians

Primate of the Evangelical Church of Yahweh, Prophet Theophilus Olubayo, has called on corrupt politicians to desist from their evil ways to avert divine wrath.

He spoke at the 4th annual Theophilus Olabayo colloquium and 45th church anniversary in Lagos at the weekend.

The colloquium tagged: The impact of Prophets in biblical days: Lessons for Nigeria attracted church leaders, academia and industrialists, among others.

It featured music, prayers, lecture series and launching of a new magazine; The Testimony, among others.

God, Olabayo claimed, told him He will surely judge all evils doers and looters of the treasury.

He asserted they will face the wrath of God if they don’t repent.

The popular seer decried the spate of corruption, which according to him, is mind boggling, lamenting politicians steal public funds at will without conscience.

Olubayo said: “The lesson is that we should believe that hope is not lost yet that God loves Nigeria.

“People who are hiding under the canopy of god fatherism, many of them if they are not dead, will end up in prison if they do not repent of heir nefarious acts.”

He declared God will not allow corrupt leaders, religious fanatics or homosexuals to rule this nation again.

He assured young leaders with the fear of God will emerge to replace the old corrupt politicians.

“They shall take over the governance of this country and rule with the fear of God,” he affirmed.

He predicted Nigeria will have a new leader who will lead between two to five years and implement the much-clamoured restructuring.

Nigeria, he further said, will have a loose federation with six to seven regions and vice presidents representing the regions.

Though the situation will be unbearable, Olabayo said  God told him a “new Nigeria will be born. We shall have a country that every citizen would be proud of.”

In his lecture, former Deputy Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University, Prof Dapo Asaju, called for the emergence of true prophets willing to speak the mind of God for this nation.

Asaju, the Vice Chancellor of Ajayi Crowther University Oyo, noted that the place of the prophet in any generation can never be undermined describing them as fearless, spiritual reformists, writers of oracles, king makers,  champions of moral rebirth and activists who speak against injustice and exploitation of the poor.

He challenged true prophets in the land to rise and speak truth to power and never allows threats from anyone to deter them from speaking God’s mind.

“Where are the true prophets who will shout against sin and corruption, call erring public office holders to order and speak God’s mind without any form of sentiments and bias?” he wondered.

He warned false prophets and teachers to desist from their evil ways because God is ready to expose them.

  • C&S church celebrates 40th anniversary

Members and well-wishers of Ile-Adura (House of Prayer) Mose Orimolade Tunolase of the Cherubim and Seraphim, Festac, Lagos were in upbeat mood recently during the 40th anniversary of its founder and general overseer, Baba Aladura Samuel Ajakaiye.

The three-day celebration with the theme “40 years of glorious reformation in the Cherubim and Seraphim Church” featured a revival, a praise concert and a thanksgiving service cum a reception for invited guests and church members.

Gospel artistes such as Evang Bukola Akinade (a.k.a senwelejesu), Bisi Alawiye, C&S Ayo Ni O choir and others participated in the concert.

Baba Aladura Ajakaiye, a leading voice advocating for reforms in the C&S church, was officially and spiritually given the  reformation mandate of the C&S during the 2016 annual  remembrance for Saint Moses Orimolade, the late founder of the Cherubim and Seraphim church, in Ikare, Ondo state.

The octogenarian was praised for advocating reforms in the C&S church during the course of his 40-year ministry.

Not only does he preach against wearing of multi-colored garments since the late Orimolade did not favour such, Ajakaiye has also warned against wearing of caps, hats or any other form of head gear by men in the church or during prayers, declaring them as unscriptural.

He backs up advocacy within the church by among other things buying tons of garments for number of churches and hosting youth groups of the larger C&S church.

Pa Ajakaiye whose late father Ezekiel Ajakaiye was among the first twelve disciples of Saint Orimilade has documentary evidence of the C&S doctrine.

He has not held back from correcting erring members even at the expense of personal vendetta.

The Ikare-born Prince has also led efforts in renovating the C&S headquarters Oke-Igbala in Ikare Ondo state and was instrumental to the renovation of Orimolade’s room in Ikare where the work started.

Senior Apostle Valentine Buraimoh, the executive chairman of Amuwo Odofin local government, who is the church’s secretary, described the founder as a genuine and compassionate man of God.

  • Ecumenical Centre:  Governor Dickson’s signature of spiritual rebirth

Like King Solomon who built the Temple of Jerusalem, not only has Governor Seriake Dickson built a befitting place of worship, he has re-dedicated Bayelsa State to God.

Ecumenism is a religious movement that seeks to unite all Christians and bring the various denominations together in mutual cooperation.

The ecumenical vision consists of the search for the visible unity of the Church and the “whole inhabited earth” (Matthew 24:14) as the concern of all Christians.

Since Dickson assumed office, he has left no one in doubt that God is the foundation of the Restoration Administration. The Restoration administration started off with a praise night on every last Sunday of the months.

Being a lover of God, no day passes without a prayer session conducted at the seat of power. Because of the love of the things of God, several appointments were given to religious people to strengthen the worship of God.

The governor built a worship place in his home town – the palace of Melchizedek. He has supported religious activities of any description, donating to churches, promoting church programmes and endeavours.

The crowning glory of these efforts was the building of the first-of its kind ecumenical centre at Igbogene in Yenagoa Bayelsa State.

Let it be remembered that at creation, Bayelsa State was dedicated to God and given a baptismal name called the glory of all lands. When the Restoration Administration came on board, Bayelsa State was fondly called the “Jerusalem of the Ijaw Nation”.

It is against this background that Bayelsa State has established an eternal pact with God. This is a pact of peace, divine protection and the blossoming of God’s grace upon Bayelsa State.

The mundane symbolism of the ecumenical centre is that it provides a platform for all Churches, irrespective of denominations to carry out religious activities such as conventions, congregational worships and Christian retreats.

Apart from the aesthetic beauty of the edifice, it also encourages religious studies and unity of the Church. Its spiritual symbolism lies in the fact that in the centre, all Ijaws are yoked together in one bundle of life.

The ecumenical centre serves as a centre of unity in the Ijaw nation.  Like Emperor Constantine of the glorious Roman Empire who popularised monotheism, the ecumenical Centre is Governor Dickson’s eternal signature for spiritual rebirth.

The ecumenical centre, which could seat about 15,000 persons, epitomises a renewed spiritual consciousness in Bayelsa State, bridging as it were the doctrinal gap between churches.

It demonstrates our unity in the body of Christ and increases the redemptive value of Jesus Christ. More importantly, the ecumenical Centre was built in recognition of the fact that it reinforces our belief in the oneness of Christianity irrespective of denominations, doctrines or creed.

By all standards, Governor Seriake Dickson is indeed a God fearing leader, who has reaffirmed our faith in God. True, God is too big to dwell in a house made by man because of his omnipresence quality but this centre, which Dickson has built to honour God shall stand as an everlasting testimony to the fact that the hearts of Kings and rulers are in the hands of God.  It is our fervent prayer that God Almighty honours the builder of this edifice.

Verily, Bayelsa State is safe in the hands of the Restoration Administration.

  • Accessing the benefits of soul winning!

Welcome to another exciting week. I hope you were blessed by last week’s teaching. Also, I believe you have discovered how you can experience noiseless breakthroughs through obedience to the soul-winning commandment. Today, we shall focus on Accessing the Benefits of Soul Winning!

From scriptures, we discover that soul winning is the most profitable of all Kingdom stewardship endeavours because it covers all things we will ever need.

The value of a soul to Jesus is worth more than all the wealth of the world put together. As it is written: For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul (Matthew 16:26).

Soul winning covers all the things that money cannot buy (Luke 22:35). Also, commitment to soul winning enthrones the soul winner in his/her field of endeavours. The Bible says: That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelvetribes of Israel (Luke 22:30; see alsoProverbs 11:30).

Furthermore, soul winning makes kings of men. For it is written: By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth (Proverbs 8:15-16). Soul winning makes kings of believers because soul winning makes wise (Proverbs 13:20). We saw how wisdom enthrones Joseph, Daniel and the likes in the Bible and wisdom is still enthroning men today. Every time we go out after souls, we are going with Jesus. The Bible records: And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen (Mark 16:20).

We also understand from scriptures that soul winning is a covenant gold mine. Concerning Peter, the Bible records: Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee. And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake, Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting (Luke 18:28-30; see also Daniel 12:3). This connotes that, every investment made towards Kingdom advancement in terms of time, energy and resources entitles us to a hundred-fold more in this present time and in the world to come life everlasting.

What then, are the Benefits of Soul Winning?

    • Empowers Believers for Dominion: For it is written: And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name (Luke 10:17). They were on a soul winning mission and they had dominion over demons. Jesus said to them: Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).
    • Soul Winning Stimulates Joy Unspeakable: No genuine soul winner ever gets depressed. The Bible records: And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name (Luke 10:17). Because: I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance (Luke 15:7). Remember, what we sow is what we reap (Galatians 6:7). So, when we give joy to heaven, we will reap heavenly joy on the earth. Depression is a destroyer of destinies but when we are on the go for Jesus or praying to God to save the lost; we find ourselves smiling. We can’t be harvesting souls for Jesus and not be rejoicing.
    • Health: We cannot be on the go for God and be serving sickness at the same time. For it is written: And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil (Exodus 23:25-26). We cannot buy that with money. The Bible says: A wicked messenger falleth into mischief: but a faithful ambassador is health (Proverbs 13:17). This implies, God is committed to keep us fit if we are on the go for Him because: Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit (John 15:2).

However, to enjoy these benefits of soul winning, you must be born again. Are you born again? If you are not, this is an opportunity to do so. Simply say the following prayer: Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me my sins. Cleanse me with Your precious Blood. Today, I accept You as my Lord and personal Saviour. Thank You Jesus for saving me! Now I know I am born again!” For further reading, please get my books: The Force Of Freedom, The Turnaround Power Of The Word, Following The Path Of The Eagle, Born To Win, All You Need To Have All Your Needs Met and Fulfilling Your Days. • Cleric advises Buhari on 2019

    Cleric advises Buhari on 2019

  • Experiencing noiseless breakthroughs via soul winning!

Experiencing noiseless breakthroughs via soul winning!

Welcome to this great month of March where you are set to experience noiseless breakthroughs in all facets of your life! Today, we shall focus on Experiencing Noiseless Breakthroughs via Soul Winning!

From scriptures, we discover that soul winning engagement is a commandment. For it is written: And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall

be damned (Mark 16: 15-16; see also John 15:1-2; Luke 14:23). In other words, every commandment of scriptures is to be obeyed and it is for our profiting. Thus, it is important to understand that passing the test of obedience is what qualifies every believer for change of levels in the Kingdom. Concerning Abraham, the Bible recordsthat God

commanded him to circumcise all the males in his household. As it is written: This [is] my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised (Genesis 17:10).What was Abraham’s response? And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and all that were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham’s house; and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the selfsame day, as God had said unto him (Genesis 17:23).The Bible records that he circumcised everyone including himself at age 90. This implies that, every commandment we ignore is a test and consequently a breakthrough that we ignored and that keeps us in the same class. This is because obedience is the only way to prove the validity of any biblical truth (Deuteronomy 28:1; Malachi 3:10-11). What then is noiseless breakthrough? Noiseless breakthroughs are the acts of God in our lives that are inexplicable but undeniable. They are supernatural breakthroughs without noise. However, obedience to the soul winning commandment is a sure way to getting there (Isaiah 42:7-9; John 3:8; 1 Corinthians 2:9-10).

Also, we discover that soul winning is a master key as it covers whatever anybody’s needs maybe. That is why, without any doubt, it is the most profitable of all Kingdom stewardship endeavours because it covers all things we will ever need. Why is that so? The value of a soul to Jesus is worth more than all the wealth of the world put together. For it is written: For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul (Matthew 16:26). This means, the whole world does not compare in value to a soul in the sight of God. So, when we get involved in what is most valuable to God, we become most valuable on the earth to Him. Furthermore, God has chosen us to bring forth fruits. It is written: Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you (John 15:16). But, it is interesting to note that soul winning is every believer’s ministry. The Bible says: I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit (John 15:1-2). So, every branch has a fruit bearing ministry and every believer is a branch of Jesus, the Vine.

Likewise, every child of God has a ministry of reconciling the world back to God. The Bible says: To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God (2 Corinthians 5:19-20). Hence, when we keep the commandment of soul winning, all things will continue to work together for our good. As it is written: For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous (1 John 5:3). So, every commandment we keep is a demonstration of our love for God and we know that…all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28). Now, one cannot love God and not talk about Him to others. For it is written: I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed (Psalm 119:46).

We must understand that, every soul winner is a fisher of men and there is always a coin or a blessing in the mouth of every fish caught.  It is written: And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men (Matthew 4:19). Furthermore, every soul winner is on God’s payroll and any other thing we receive is a stipend. Our real wages are in our enlistment as soul winners. The Bible records: And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together (John 4:36).

In conclusion, soul winning is not a gift neither is it a calling; it is a choice. Noiseless breakthroughs come in response to our obedience to this commandment of soul winning. But, you must be born again in order to reconcile the world to God; because what you don’t have you cannot give.
