The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has named former Speaker Yakubu Dogara as chairman of a five-man screening committee for aspirants in the Ondo state governorship election.
Reverend Bunmi Jenyo will serve as secretary. Other members of the committee are: Sen Zainab Kure, Mr Fred Agbedi, and Mr Ndubuisi Agwuama.

In a statement by the National Organising Secretary of the PDP, Col Austin Akobundu, the screening exercise is scheduled hold at the party’s Abuja secretariat at 10 am on Thursday July 2.
