THE Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibadan zonal office, has arrested 89 suspected Internet fraudsters.
The arrest was made at the popular Club 360, located on Akala Expressway, Oluyole Extension in Ibadan, Oyo State.
In preparation for the late night operation, officers of the commission had carried out series of discreet surveillance on the nature of activities going on at the nightclub, which, according to intelligence reports, was notorious for harbouring suspected Internet fraudsters.
A raid on the nightclub led to the confiscation of vehicles, laptops, sophisticated phones and other items.
A source in the commission said the suspects are undergoing interrogation.
