From her Baltimore, Maryland base in America, Nigerian actress, Aisat Iyabode Asamu, has shared her Covid-19 experience with her fans, detailing how she spent her time during the lockdown phase of the period and what the pandemic cost her.

Asamu popularly known as Aishy said: “I had a plan of going to Las Vegas while I had also laid out detail plans of shooting some movies, but I was forced to put everything on hold by the pandemic.”

Aishy, who spent most of the lockdown period indoors, said she spent her time “watching TV and also spending most of my time with my loved ones.”

She said further: “I had to stop working even though I owned my business, and the pandemic didn’t allow me to earn as much money as I used to earn.”

Aishy, who got her associate degree in 2019 from a community college, is currently enrolled in a degree programme at Morgan State University.

She spoke of her latest movie experience, saying: “The movies I recently featured in are Last Laugh and Pawon. I liked the character given to me in the Last Laugh. I feel like that’s more of me. It was a great experience.”

The actress who had starred in countless movies including Okun Ebi and Get a Girlfriend claimed: “it wasn’t really easy being an actress at the beginning” of her film career.

She explained: “That was because I used to be camera shy and I always feel like everyone on set is coming for me when I make mistakes like forgetting my line.”

However, she has become a better actress, she avowed.

“I do not suffer anxiety over delivering my lines anymore. Now I am more confident and have become more experienced and can handle different types of roles,” she declared.
