Kola Akinmosun’s new move

Then President Buhari Administration encouraged the inclusion of youths in politics, little did many know it was an opportunity to lure bright Nigerian youths in the diaspora back home to contribute to the growth of Nigeria. Such is the story of Kolawole Akinmosun, Chairman and CEO Powaline Limited, who is not taking any chances as he has obeyed the clarion call of his people to impact them positively by returning home to represent the people of Irele/Okitipupa, federal constituency, Ondo state, at the federal lawmaking chambers come 2023. Despite his exposure and experience in the United Kingdom, the post-graduate student of the University of Strathclyde strongly believes that quality representation of his constituency will eradicate poverty and also attending to their teeming needs providing basic amenities for them. A close source disclosed that the graduate of Geology and Mineral Science from the University of Ilorin in Kwara state has been a philanthropist with a large heart who wants to develop his immediate society. This was first achieved as a youth corp member in Akwa Ibom in the year 2009 when he was awarded as Corper of the year executing numerous projects. “He built Bus stop at Ekauruk Eshiet, sponsored quiz competitions across the state of Akwa Ibom and embarked on Cassava stems farm to support vision 2020 of Nigeria,” a source quipped.

Continuing, the source said, “for someone who has been doing developmental projects during his NYSC days, if he is eventually elected into the public position, he will surely deliver. He is a youth and we need them in politics to wrestle power from the old politicians.”
