Danladi-Salihu said this in Ilorin, the state capital, when members of the Women Enpowerment and Youth Development Initiative (WOYODEV), a non-governmental organisation, visited him at the Assembly complex.

He said that the lawmakers would carry out every action aimed at protecting mothers and children.

“We received the VAPP bill and passed it at first reading on Thursday, July 16, 2020, and I want to assure you we will give it accelerated passage, as the ninth Assembly is known for efficiency in discharging our lawful duties,” Danladi-Salihu said.
