Nigeria international Terem Moffi has won FC Lorient’s Player of the Season for his impressive performance for the French side in the 2020/2021 campaign.
Moffi, 22, registered 15 goals in his debut season and recorded three assists after 41 appearances in all competitions for Les Merlus.
The youngster joined the Brittany-based side for Eight million Dollars from Belgium’s KV Kortrijk in October 2020.

Despite his brilliant season, the former Riteriai of Lithuania striker missed out on a place in the nominees’ list for this year’s Marc-Vivien Foe award as he was not a Nigerian international yet.
Napoli’s Victor Osimhen won the award last year when he was still at Lille, and Moffi was in pole position to succeed his international compatriot but could not break into the national team’s set up before he made his Super Eagles debut in Nigeria’s 1-0 loss to rivals Cameroon on June 4.
