The first ever reunion of the 1992 set of Ire Akari Grammar School, Okota/Isolo, Lagos State held at the weekend. The reunion is coming 29 years after their graduation.
A statement by the Chairman (Organising Committee) Mustapha Lamidi said the association earlier gave back to the school by donating over 2,000 exercise books to current pupils.
He said some of their former teachers were also recognised and given tokens of appreciation at the reunion, while there are more plans to give back to the school as well.
Lamidi added that reunion was also an avenue for members to deliberate on ways to give back to their alma mater and help members who are in need.
The event held at the Whitely Event Centre on 16, Nnobi Street, off Kilo Junction, Surulere.
