A notable Jehovah Witness member, Pa Amos Ukanefimoni Egbon, who died aged 93, will be buried on Saturday, November 21, 2021 at their family compound at Urhobene Street in Ughwrughelli, Agbarho in Ughelli North Local Government Area after a short service. There will be, however, be a reception at the Ughrwghelli Primary School at same the village In a statement, the head of the family, Mr Brown Ajokpe Ukanefimoni, the Deputy Director, Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), said his father passed on September 20, 2021, at after a brief illness. He said their father was second male of a family of five. He spent his early years at the village before he moved to the main town Orho-Agbrho after attaning the old Standard Three certificate.
He was a major trader in the town and staunch member of the Jehovah Witness. His wedding to the late Ibadan Ovuakporaye (nee Adarode) in 1960 produced 10 children, 33 grandchildren and three great children.
The children are Brown, Zion, Oke, Mrs Blessing, Amrede, Hope, Simon, Benjamin, Mrs Ejiro Ikpen and Jonathan.
