Plateau council polls: PLASIEC recruits 8,500 ad-hoc staff

The Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission (PLASIEC) has announced the commencement of 8,500 ad-hoc staff recruitment for the forthcoming October 9, 2021 council elections.

The state electoral umpire said interested candidates should obtain application forms from the commission’s area offices across the 17 Local Government Areas.

The commission revealed that the forms are available from September 18-21, 2021.

These were contained in statement by PLASIEC secretary, Barr. I.S Bashiri in Jos the state capital.

Bashiri said: “the Plateau state Independent electoral commission (PLASIEC) wishes to inform interested candidates who desire to work as ad-hoc staff during the forthcoming Local Government Council elections in the state.

“The application forms to that effect can be obtained from Saturday 18th to Tuesday 21st September, 2021, at the commission’s area offices in the seventeen Local Government Areas where the elections are to be held.

“Interested candidates are requested to fill and return the forms at the respective offices where they were collected, not later than 4:00pm on Tuesday 21st September, 2021.”
