Like clothes, men come in different shapes and sizes
Some are naturally born great
Few command greatness
Others have greatness thrust on them
But ‘it’s rare to find someone who possesses all forms of greatness
Blessed is he so wonderfully made, so naturally favoured!
Indeed Omooba Samuel Olumuyiwa Abayomi Sosanya remains so naturally favoured!
Salute to the General
A man cut from a fine royal fibre and timber
The world was naturally his oyster
Yet he shunned vainglory and luxury
To chart path even angels feared to tread
He led his army to a battle he came perilously close to losing
They tried; yes they tried to have him canned
Like a piece of garbage in a CAN!
They made him suffer lots of privations
Just so he would recant
But like a true General with a courage of conviction
He soldiered on, ever fighting, ever winning!
They said, ‘No you can’t do that, you can’t do this. We won’t let you! ‘
Fearlessly courageous, he stood pat with them.
Like a true General fighting the battle of his life, he charged back:
‘No you can’t stop me I. C. A. N
I’ll win this battle:
‘For good will always triumph over evil.’
Battle’s over now, thanks to the General
