The apology came during a live Instagram session with Daddy Freeze.

Teebillz explained that he was triggered by Toke’s criticism of 2Baba, stating that family feuds are best left unresolved and that separation can sometimes be the best solution for healing and reworking marriages.

He said: “I would like to publicly apologise to Toke. I think my message was misconstrued because, at the end of the day, we are all family. You see, this feminist thing is getting out of hand.

Teebillz went on to express his views on how people judge others based on personal struggles, adding: “You can’t judge anyhow how they express themselves with something they’ve bottled for years. You can’t come out to say ‘I am ashamed for you.’ When it comes to family feuds, no one wins because I went through the same thing. I gave everything to Tiwa Savage, but the problem we had was the entertainment world.

“You have to give credit to the women. Every time wey I dey fight for Tiwa, people think I am mad; that’s the mother of my child. When I see my child doing well, I am happy and that’s because of Tiwa.”

Kaffy also encouraged women to reassess their relationship expectations and take responsibility for their actions.

She said: “I want to speak on the Annie and 2Face situation. I am not going to speak from a place of judging anybody but from a perspective we all need to have. I am rooting for both of them as they are victims of their circumstances. I know both of them very well, and I’m not going to bash any of them. 2Face and Annie are a petri dish for us to learn not to judge. Let’s give grace and pray for them.

“Let me give you a perspective that could be the issue for male celebrities. They are usually under target, and we women are their biggest enemies when they are at a vulnerable moment in their careers. Did any man plan to have plenty baby mamas?

“Both of them have been through toxicity. An average male celebrity is a victim. Despite all of these problems, some girls are still in 2Baba’s DMs like this. I am not trying to absolve him of his problems—he should get help. Nobody is innocent!

“Let’s ask questions: Why are over 60% of marriages failing? Some of us women have that mindset that we will change him. We should stop! If we want to stop being victims, let’s do better. Because it is also a woman that is confusing the man; we have that much power. The devil is winning; let’s work on ourselves, we serve grace,” she added.

        8. Love turned sour: How Annie Idibia met 2Face at age 15

Love turned sour: How Annie Idibia met 2Face at age 15

Cupid’s arrow struck 2Face Idibia and Annie Macaulay years ago after their innocent friendship that began at a studio session blossomed into a beautiful love story in 2013.

Weeks ago, Annie had celebrated her 25-year friendship and 13-year marriage to music icon.

In a series of posts on her Instagram story, Annie shared clips of her family’s “Detty December moments” as she reflected on their enduring union.

Annie expressed gratitude for the bond they share, acknowledging the challenges they had faced over the years, including breakups and reconciliations.

She also addressed her critics, urging them to give up, adding, “Even the devil and witches/wizards should give up.”

As the arc of the duo’s scintillating affair inches towards a crescendo, their love thread becomes taut and ultimately snaps into bits. Their relationship over the years faced turbulent times. Despite the ups and downs, they both found ways back into each other’s arms.

But how did this sweet love story become this sour?

Annie first met 2face Idibia at Even Ezra Music Studio when she was just fifteen and in her words, “I think there was some electricity that second”.

“The moment our eyes met at Even Ezra Studios many years ago, I knew you were the one for me and I for you. Innocent is an extraordinary being. It really seems like yesterday, (can’t believe he is 40 already) he was 24 and I was 15. And I still see the same man when I look at him. So full of life.”

They were friends first but had started dating officially by the time they shot the “African Queen” video in 2004. That was when 2Face announced that they were together during an interview.

Annie explained: “I remember my 16th birthday at Alpha Beach, with me and my friends. When we were going home, we all walked to the bus stop with him and his cousin. Plantashun Boiz had just recorded “Knock Me Off” at the time so he wasn’t a star yet.

So we got into the bus, he sat in front with his cousin so when we wanted to pay the conductor, he said, “no, he done pay already” I was feeling like a babe. “Hey! My boyfriend paid everybody’s bus fare.” And that time, bus was like N2.50k or N3 per person for about 14 people. But he told me recently that he didn’t eat that night because he paid for everyone.” awwwwwww – Annie Idibia in the February 2013 issue of TW Magazine.”

She was hurt when word got out that, in quick succession, 2Face had gotten two different women pregnant – Pero Adeniyi and Sumbo Ajala. At that point, the couple broke up.

When Pero and Sumbo yet again got pregnant for 2Face once again, that was when 2Face and Annie had their longest break-up which lasted almost a year and a half. But as they say, love will always find a way, they made up again and Annie gave birth to 2Face’s fifth child Isabel and then in 2012, Pero gave birth to his sixth child in the US.

Pero has been at loggerheads with Annie for years. Their rift can be traced back to 2015 and 2016 when they both called each other out on social media. Their frosty relationship took a front burner when photos of 2Face kissing Pero at the singer’s nightclub back in 2015 appeared on the internet.

2Face and Annie reportedly got married on March 23, 2013 in a star-studded wedding ceremony in Dubai.

After weeks of speculation about the state of their marriage, the iconic musician broke his silence in a statement addressed to his fans and well-wishers.

“Hello to my beautiful people of all Federations. Well, this thing I have to say is short but also long. I and Annie Macaulay have been separated for a while now and currently filed divorce. I would grant a press release soon to say my story—not because it is anyone’s right to know about my personal life; but because I love my people and I need them to know my innocence or offense. Stay blessed my people. I love you all,” 2Face wrote.

This announcement comes as a shock to many, especially since the couple celebrated their wedding anniversary just a few days ago.

During the occasion, Annie had publicly dismissed rumors of a breakup, sharing emotional tributes on social media and posting photos from their intimate celebration.

However, this revelation now puts into perspective the ongoing speculations and whispers about cracks in their marriage.
