  • ‘I haven’t been a role model’, 2face apologises to wife publicly

    Popular singer, Innocent Idibia, fondly called 2face, apologised to his wife, Annie Idibia, for an undisclosed reason on Monday.

    The message isn’t coherent as the main issue has not been addressed.

    However, from the looks of things, there seems to be trouble in paradise.

    On his verified Twitter handle, Tuface admitted that he had made a mess of things and went on to say “sorry” as well as revealing that Annie had tried her best.

    2Baba wrote:

    “I’m sorry to say that i have fucked up so much. i have fucked up as a role model as a father and as a husband. annie im sorry. i know u tried your best.”
    “Annie u have been my pillar. efe u have been a wonderful manager and ig bro. my fans have beb …. .m m”

    Hours before his tweet, Annie updated her Instagram story that reads: “be picky with who you invest your time in, wasted time is worse than wasted money” to which she commented that the most important lesson is learnt the hard way.

    Who would have thought that she was referring to the turmoil in her marriage?

    2baba and Annie started dating in 1999 but their relationship hasn’t been a walk in the park.

    During their off and on relationship, 2baba got two other women pregnant and in 2012, they finally tied the knot.
    Annie has two children for 2face while he has five from the other women.

  • This has been my best year ever, says Annie Idibia

    ACTRESS and model,  Annie Idibia, who was a year older recently has revealed that 2018 has been her best year ever.

    The 34-year-old, who got lot of birthday wishes from colleagues and family members  uploaded the goodwill messages on her Instagram, saying that  they all made her day beautiful. She made particular reference to the videos from her daughters and husband’s sons, Nino and Zion.

    “Grateful for this year! This has been my best year ever in all areas of my life…

    “And I am totally grateful for every single blessing. Thank you to every single person who has shown me love and supported my dreams and constantly paddling in my boat.”

    Some celebrities in the video included Blossom Chukwujechkwu, Toke Makinde, Halima Abubakar, Pascal Amanfo, Cole Peter and Mabel Makun among others.

    Her husband and popular singer Tuface, was not left out, as he penned a note to celebrate his wife.

    “My queen I see u,” he captioned the photograph  he uploaded.

    “I wish u a wonderful birthday celebration. I’m right behind u baby, always gat yo back. I smell plenty blessings coming your way. thanx 4 everything my love. u deserve all the good things in life.”

    The actress who featured in a new movie, Power of 1, slated for the cinemas on December 7, also announced that three lucky winners will have access to L’avyanna beauty products which she represents as a brand ambassador.

    Annie was nominated in the ‘Best Supporting Actress’ category at the 2009 Best of Nollywood Awards.

  • Bambam,Teddy A Ex-BBN housemates secure roles in “Foreigner’s God”

    Bambam (Oluwabamike Olawumi) and Teddy A (Tope Teddy Adenibuyan)’, former housemates and strategic partners at the just concluded Big Brother Naija ‘double wahala’ show, have secured roles in a new movie, ”Foreigner’s God.”

    Ifan Micheal Productions, producer of the movie stated this on Wednesday on its IG page when he unveiled BamBam as the new addition to the casting crew.

    While Teddy A is making his acting debut in “Foreigner’s God”, Bambam has featured in Nollywood productions such as “Inspector K” and “Backup Wife” before participating in the BBN show.

    Popularly known as “Bamteddy” during their stay BBNaija house, Bambam and Teddy A were many fans favourite couple and they have continued together after they show.

    Set in the Eastern part of Nigeria, the plot of “Foreigner’s God” follows the peak of colonial era in Nigeria.

    It tells the story of an English documentary photographer, Pepper Claude’s supernatural journey into the heart of Igbo land in search of a story.

    All goes well until his bodyguard mysteriously disappears and he falls in love with Anya, an accused witch living under subhuman conditions, in a witch’s camp in the heart of the jungle.

    Convinced that this is just another case of tribal discrimination,Pepper Claude got committed to having Anya and her people free, which spiralled out of control.

    The Star-studded film features veteran Nollywood stars Pete Edochie, Onyeka Onwenu, Toyin Abraham, Lala Akindoju, and Sam Dede.

    Other casts include Linda Osifo,Pierc Yinka e-Tijani, Sharon Ooja and Annie Idibia.

    Ex-Big Brother Naija housemates, Bambam and Teddy A, have been treated to a one of a kind homecoming party at the Rumours nightclub in Ikeja.

They were extremely excited to meet the power couple and could not contain their excitement. Other ex-housemates like Vandora, DeeOne and Bitto were also in attendance to party with them.

    The lovebirds came well prepared to slay with Bambam wearing a black full fringed dress paired with pink heels and Teddy A looking all dapper in black jeans paired with an orange blazer.

    The ex-housemates sure had a time of their lives, from the DJ, to the interviews and photo sessions with fans, they seem to have garnered even more fans post eviction period. The show of love for this two is undeniably massive and it is safe to say they know how to enjoy a great party.

    NOLLYWOOD actress, Annie Idibia , has cast her mind back to her growing up in an Instagram post.The wife of music legend, 2face Idibia, in the post relives the story of her life as a kid raised by a single struggling mother with four kids.

    “I always knew somewhere deep in my heart that I “Annie” was created for bigger n better things, that this right here isn’t my life…I remember very clearly as a kid maybe 10 or 11 every evening walked from Igbogosho crossing the famous Lekki Expressway 2 Jakande just to fetch water for cooking etc..,” she wrote.

    She revealed that she was a kid who was born with a silver spoon from birth till when she was about six years old before the separation of her parents.

    “It wasn’t easy, but I always knew my life was more than that life. Thank you lord for turning my life around from that girl that use to help her mom sell pepper soup after school, whose mom was “the cook” that girl who had to start her first degree as a part-time student cos she had to be at work by 7am-6pm (marketing n selling magazine) and rush to LASU Ikoyi Campus by 6:30..was always late to class. And everyone just thought i was unserious cos i was always late 2 class. Struggled as a model.. was too short so didn’t go far..tried anchoring a music show..had so many doors slam on my face,” she added.

    She then thanked God for the woman she has become today, saying that he has made her an independent woman.

    As a birthday gift to her fans, Annie Idibia is set to give back to society, by giving out free skill acquisition programme for two weeks in Lagos and Akwa Ibom States. The actress said the decision was borne out of the many blessing she has received over the years.

    Born in the month of November, the actress stated that she decided not to ask for any gift from God this year, but would like to give back and contribute to the society at large.

    “I am grateful to God for his many blessings in my life and this time I have decided not ask God for anything but rather I would like to give back and contribute to the society at large.

    “On this note, I would like to invite 1000 women and youths to two weeks empowerment training in Event Decor and Planning, Ankara Craft, Cake Making & Modelling, Photography Starter Class and an extensive Makeup Masters Class in Lagos and Akwa-Ibom States.”

    Nollywood actress and wife to Afropop superstar, 2Baba, Annie Idibia could not hide her excitement last night as Campari Nigeria celebrated ambassador 2Baba on his honorary master’s degree from Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State.

    The mother of two who attended the event with her husband joined colleagues, friends and fans to congratulate 2Baba on the feat. Throughout the evening, Annie could not keep her eyes off her man as she enjoyed precious moments with him.

    The event which was held at Rumors Nightclub in Ikeja had notable guests in attendance including ace comedian Tee A, renowned writer Toni Kan, CEO Now Muzik, Efe Omorogbe, Portfolio Manager – International Premium Brands, Nigerian Breweries, Sampson Oloche and Dotun Omotoye.     With his debut solo album, Face 2 Face, released in 2004, Tuface established himself as the best in his music genre.

    In 2010, with the release of the international edition of the 2008 album, The Unstoppable, he became the first Nigerian singer of his generation to have his album appropriately priced in the international market.

    His awards include Channel O Music Video Awards, Soundcity Music Video Awards, MTV Africa Music Awards, BET Best International Act: Africa, ThisDay Awards (presented to him by the former U.S. President, Bill Clinton), World Music Awards, Black Heritage Awards for Excellence, Nigerian Music Awards and more.

    Tuface Idibia who is married to Annie Idibia is one of the most decorated and successful Afro pop artistes in Africa. He is one of the most bankable artistes Nigerians can boast of.
