Tboss, Kemen reconcile after #BBNaija grouse

Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Reality Show housemates, Tokunbo Idowu, popularly called Tboss, and Ekemini Ekerete also known as Kemen, have finally reconciled, after two months of “beef”.

Kemen, a ship manager turn fitness entrepreneur, was disqualified for fondling Tboss without her consent while she was asleep in the BBNaija house.

According to media reports, the peace process tagged, ‘reconciliation get together,’ took place early hours of yesterday at Planet Work Night club in Abuja.

The peace was brokered by the club owner Charles Opaleke, and celebrity journalist Azuka Ogujuiba of Media Room Hub.

Kemen, after the disqualification, took to his Instagram handle @Kemen_Fitness and tendered an apology to Tboss, the organisers of the show and core sponsor, Payporte for his action.

The fitness guru, who also spoke about his relationship with TBoss after the show, described her as “great’’.

“Tboss is a great person and I would want to keep her as a friend. I don’t have any grudges against her and I don’t think I ever will.

“You have to bear in mind that the situation not only affected me, it also affected Tboss negatively too so we are both in this together.

“Having a bad feeling towards her would be totally out of place,” he said.

BBNaija: Kemen still at T-Boss’ mercy

The ‘enslavement’ continues disqualified Big Brother Naija housemate, Kemen, weeks after the show ended.

The former housemate from Akwa Ibom State seems to be trying hard to appease fellow contestant, Tokunbo Idowu aka T-Boss, who caused his expulsion, after his romantic advances towards her hit the rock.

Recall that Kemen allegedly fondled T-Boss without her consent during the recently concluded reality show.

A still angry T-Boss has been lambasting Kemen over his behaviour ever since she left the BBN house and on Sunday, during an interview, she disclosed that Kemen had phoned her more than 15 times but she did not pick up his call because she did not want to say anything she might regret.

T-Boss who disclosed she has seen Kemen few times after leaving the BBN house said she could not tolerate him talking from both sides of his mouth and even wanted to slap him.

“I just wanted to slap him,” she said.

“I think I even said that but then I came out and I said you know what… everyone can make mistake because I am an attractive person but then, I come out and I hear the interviews he has given, today he makes an apology and then tomorrow he comes out to say T-Boss knows what happened and that if there was no N25 million involved, hopefully she would tell the truth.”

Meanwhile, Kemen, when asked in a telephone interview with The Nation, to respond to T-Boss’ critical outbursts, said he has ‘no comments’ in his defense. When asked his response that T-Boss was maligning his character, Kemen also replied with the ‘no comments’ phrase.

Since Kemen was disqualified, he has yet to refute the allegation that he fondled T-Boss and responded that T-Boss knew the truth about what happened.

    BBNaija’s Bisola denies Facebook page

Barely two weeks after her return from South Africa where she emerged second place in the just concluded Big Brother Naija, Bisola Aiyeola, has cried out to the public, claiming that she did not create a fan page on Facebook.
The account which currently has close to 2, 000 followers, has the details of the actress, which include an email address, Snapchat and Twitter handle.
Bisola who feels that some of her fans might fall victims of the impersonated page has warned them via her Instagram to disregard the page: “Hey people, please disregard this page. It is an impersonation of the real @iambisola page; feel free to report, to take it down.”
Bisola, who was among the guests at the AY Live Show, held on Sunday, at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, graced the red carpets with other housemates like T-Boss, Efe, Debie-Rise, Uriel, and Bassey.

  • #BBNaija: How Efe WON by FAILING the reality TV Show

#BBNaija: How Efe WON by FAILING the reality TV Show

    …Lessons learnt BASED ON LOGISTICS!

I know somebody out there will be reading this piece and saying to himself or maybe laughing hysterically that the writer of this piece must be off his rocker. “How could this clownish ‘writer wanna-be’ be associating a winning brand like the logistics crooner, Efe Ejegba, with failure? This writer definitely has no clue!”

Like Mr. Eazi will say, hey! Please HOLD UP for a second and follow my line of thought as I take you through the FAILING POINTS of our dearly beloved Efe.

First of all, please don’t go down low. Big Brother Nigeria show is a ‘reality’ TV show where house mates are supposed to live their lives in an enclosed and controlled environment, with little or no interactions with outsiders. First, how can a TV show be real? I mean TV is generally associated with make-believe. Therefore if you are able to pretend in a very convincing manner, you can literally bring warm tears into the eyes of your audience; that is the rule of the game!

Reasons why Efe failed the TV show:

    1.  He was very ORIGINAL:

Take it or leave it, everyone in the show already had a script in their heads, buried within the deepest and darkest part of their subconscious. Most of the housemates started to play and display their scripts hoping to convince you and I that they are REAL. However, the only housemate who really failed in that area was Efe. He failed because he must have decided to extricate any script embossed in his mind; all he did was to come with is original and ‘diamond in the rough’ self to play the game. A wise man once said ‘TO THINE OWN SELF BE TRUE’. Efe failed the test of make-believe but won and literally stole our hearts away by being original…Believing in his make! Lesson learnt: You may fail to feign reality all in the name of a show, but you will succeed when reality shows up.

    2. He connected to his ROOT:

There is something very special, almost ethereal about a man that is able to relate and connect with his root – his people, experiences, and culture. While other housemates related fairly on their connectedness to their root, Efe displayed a humongous relish and deep collection with his root – experiences with his people (Niger-Delta), his sometimes tumultuous and rickety experiences growing up, and a deep connection with his culture. Lesson learnt: In Sound Sultan’s voice: ‘no matter where you go make you no forget area o’.

    3. He was the LOGISTICS man:

SEE GOOBE, Efe already volunteered to be the logistics person. He wanted to be the one to carry out all the running around; what some might call the errand or dirty job. He was not scared that someone else would take the spotlight. Please indulge me for  moment, If you are a religious person of Christian faith you might have come across the part of the bible where Jesus Christ said – he that will be first in the kingdom must first be the servant of men…I just paraphrased it. Lesson learnt: Always be willing to serve, because it is in serving that the whole world will create a path to your abode. Never be afraid of the other person outshining you…the sky is big enough for all to soar.

    4. He had his MOTHER’S LOVE:

From some of the stories that Efe narrated and recounted while in the house, you will notice streaks of tales of his mother scattered around it. In this part of the world, we believe that the prayer and good will of a parent especially that of a mother, is almost as potent as the proclamation from God. I‘m sure his mother’s heart must have leaped in merriment those times she hears her son talk about her (although sometimes he gives too much information); there is no way her merry heart would not pray for him. Lessons learnt: Please and please, for those whose mothers are still alive…please treat her with love and kindness because she deserves it. Please do not allow prophets of doom and naysayers bedevil your mother to call her a witch; even if it happens that she is a witch, hers will be to protect you. Please show great love to ect you. Please show great love to your momma. For the rest of us whose mothers have gone to rest with the lord, let’s be comforted with the singular fact that she is resting and praying for us.

    5. He was not SUPER HUMAN:

We are all creatures flawed with personal idiosyncrasies and foibles. Regardless of how real Efe was, he identified with his humanity and its sundry limitations. He did not try to form Robocop or Superman. He never tried to be more catholic than the pope. Instead, he made his mistakes, owned up to them, accepted responsibilities for them, and moved on. Did he misbehave a few times in the house? Yes he did! Did he get drunk at some point? Yes!! As a saying goes – ‘the best of humans is still human after all’. Lesson learnt: let us not be too judgmental of ourselves and people around because somehow we are faced and fazed with similar weaknesses – what is sometimes most personal, is also most general. Be you a teacher, housewife, lawyer, president, clergy etc., we all have blood running through our thick veins; therefore, let us tolerate people and forgive their weaknesses because the beauty of life does not lie in perfection, but in a potpourri of imperfect perfections.

    He is EDUCATED:

Beyond being real, original, respectful etc., Efe is educated. Education is not limited to stale and sometimes banal knowledge gotten from the four walls of a higher institution, but rests heavily on the ability of a man to learn from experiences, relearn critical lessons, and unlearn unethical, unscrupulous, and amoral attitudes of mind and behaviour. From the conversations of the young man – Efe, it was clear that he was not just sound cognitive-wise, but also experientially: He was street savvy. Education (university degree) is usually not enough because the world is full of educated derelicts. Lesson learnt: Don’t just go to school to earn a degree, get an education!

  • Efe Ejeba wins Big Brother Naija show

Efe Ejeba wins Big Brother Naija show

    …Gets N25 million, SUV
Bisola, first runner up, TBoss, second runner up

After 78 days of dramatic activities in the Big Brother Naija (BBN) house, the lifestyle reality show came to an end, Sunday night, with Delta State contestant, Efe Ejeba winning the coveted prize of N25 million and a Kia Seranto SUV.
Efe, an upcoming rapper and last man standing on the show beat fellow finalists – Bisola, TBoss, Debie-Rise and Marvis – in a tension-filled finale that had fans of the show canvassing vigorously for their preferred housemates.
The 24-hour three-month long live show which commenced recording in Johannesburg, South Africa on January 22, 2017, with 12 housemates who were later joined by two others, and another two but fake housemates, climaxed in glamorous live performances that had DJ Neptune, music artistes Innocent Idibia, aka 2Baba, Tiwa savage and Emmy Gee, throwing up so much vibes amidst pomp.
While in the house, Efe, who is the youngest contestant – aged 24 – was unique for his frankness, multiple-term as Head of House, and his common use of pidgin diction with jokey phrases.
A graduate of Economics from the University of Jos, Plateau State, the self-acclaimed ‘street’ boy, who was one of the usually nominated housemates for possible eviction, had, each time, led the vote chart.
Female housemate and multi-talented entertainer, Bisola was a high contender for the prize. She told Big Brother in a Diary Room session earlier that win or lose; “I feel like a winner already.” She noted that it took her eight years to be selected as a participant, and believes the show will impact her career greatly.
Big Brother who expressed optimism for her talents admonished her in a touching way, as she fought back tears. It was the most emotional last Diary Room session.
He said: “It’s been an amazing experience having you in the house – your versatility, your incredibility. Yes, there have been moments you have told big Brother that certain things you have done and may have said, that you wish to take them back; but who can judge you, except they have been through this experience themselves. It’s always good to find out why people do what they do. That curiosity leads to understanding, and understanding opens up the human souls to compassion, and compassion is the cornerstone of love. For there is no guilt in humans, all there is, is love. Bisola, as you leave tonight, may genuine love find you. May you prosper beyond your imagination. You are a gold fish… you are a gold fish; there will be no hiding place for you. All the good things will locate you. You can sing, you can act… the question is not what can Bisola do? It is what can’t Bisola do? Big Brother has truly enjoyed your stay in the house and wishes you all the very best in your future endeavor. You’ve got a Midas touch, go touch anything a d it will turn to gold. Good luck to you…”
2Baba opened the show, singing his latest song, ‘Holy Holy’, followed by Mavin Record’s First Lady, Tiwa Savage with ‘Key to the City’. When Emmy Gee climbed the stage featuring AB Crazy and DJ Dimplez, they sang ‘Rands and Nairas’. Tiwa Savage returned one more time to the stage, doing the medley, ‘Romatic’ and ‘All Over’, while 2Baba closed the performances with the classic, ‘African Queen’.

It was a live crossing show, with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu hosting the South African studio leg, while former BBN winner, Katung Aduwak anchored the live broadcast from the Lagos screening center, the Classique Event Place, Kudirat Abiola Way, Ikeja, with fans of the show, sponsors, Nigerian media and past contestants of the show.
Marvis was the first to leave the house. When asked if she would want to further her relationship with Efe, she became evasive. Marvis’ exit was followed by that of guitar girl Debie-Rise who had disappointment written all over her. Asked where her heart belongs between Efe and Bassey, she noted that although it was natural to get attracted to one or two persons, “But I really like Bassey.”
It was jubilation at the Lagos screening center when TBoss was evicted, just as the crowd at the Johannesburg studio where sort of booing her. She had been the most controversial housemate, noted for a beautiful body, full of tattoos and piercings which she displayed at will. The internet was abuzz last week when it was said that the Nigerian-Romanian housemate could not recite the National Anthem. She, also being the reason Kemen was disqualified from the show. However, she was declared overall winner of Friday Payporte arena games with a voucher of N500, 000 for shopping.
Presenting another side-laurel; the ONE campaign prize, won by Bisola, was Honorable Desmond Elliot and Sarah Makka. She will be joining organisers in New York to speak further at the United Nations Assembly on educating the girl-child.
When Efe was declared winner, it was clear Bisola was the first runner-up.
Previously evicted housemates include Miyonse, Soma, CocoIce, Gifty, Uriel, ThinTallTony, Bassey, Balley, and Kemen, who was disqualified for breaking the rule of the game. They were all present at the Lagos live screening.
In the last three months, Big Brother Naija was estimated to be the most watched show on the African continent, shutting down Instagram, Facebook and Twitter with trending issues on a daily basis.
