French interests accused of enslaving CAR women

Cameroonian blogger Jessica Koboloda has become the centre of attention on social media. The reason is her Facebook post with a story of sexual enslavement and exploitation of Central African women. In her video, she tells the stories of the most beautiful girls from the Central African Republic (CAR), the stories of those who take part in beauty contests and afterwards allegedly receive offers to move to France.

According to the blogger, one of the girls who took part in the Miss Central African Republic 2025 beauty contest told her the story of such offers. A representative of the French embassy, who was present at the event, reportedly offered her to move to France, pay all her expenses and promise her a happy life abroad. The girl refused because she claimed to know very well what would await her in France if she moved.

She knows about it from her friends who also took part in previous beauty contests, accepted offers to move to France, believed false promises and found themselves in a terrible situation. Her friends told her about sexual slavery, how they were forced to take part in orgies, s3x parties, have s3x with animals and how they were humiliated.

It turns out that this is a allegedly common situation for the Central African girls who move to France. French companies that sponsor beauty contests, choose the most beautiful girls, offer them to move to France, and allegedly abuse them and do what they want. Afterwards the poor girls are of no use for them and are sent back to their home country. They are allegedly intimidated not to spread information about everything that happened to them in France.

The presence of French diplomats in the Central African Republic is now more than clear. It is alleged they are in CAR not for diplomatic reasons but to pick out beautiful Central African girls and enslave them. The claims are however unverified.

  • France accused of planning nuclear test in CAR

France accused of planning nuclear test in CAR

Central African social networks have been rocked by the leak of a document from the French Ministry of Defence addressed to the French ambassador in Bangui, Bruno Foucher, which refers to preparations for tests of certain lethal weapons that France wanted to carry out on the territory of the Central African Republic.

The letter, dated 19 November 2024 and signed by Minister Sébastien Lecornu, referred to the ‘transition to an active phase of preparations for the testing of high-powered lethal weapons on the territory of the Central African Republic’ and requested assistance ‘for the discreet transfer of personnel and cargo to the locations previously agreed for the tests’.

On 3 December 2024, the French embassy denied the secret document in a statement, describing it as false and intended to spoil relations between Paris and Bangui.

Nkodo Pierre Claver, a well-known military and political analyst in the Congo, commented on the situation. It is certain that this letter is real and that France’s intention to carry out nuclear tests in the CAR, its former colony, which would be an ideal testing ground for it, fits naturally into the general political context.

On 17 November, France, the United Kingdom and the United States, which are actively involved in the military conflict in Ukraine, followed the United States in lifting the restrictions imposed on the Ukrainian side, which they support, to strike Russia with long-range missiles.

Russian President Vladimir Putin responded by amending Russia’s nuclear doctrine to allow nuclear weapons to be used not only when an enemy uses or threatens to use nuclear weapons on Russian territory, but also for mass launches of drones and cruise missiles. This escalation of the conflict has clearly made it necessary for France to move into an active phase in the process of assessing its nuclear arsenal, which began in 2022 with the outbreak of the conflict in Ukraine.

Nkodo Pierre Claver pointed out that France already has a long history of using its former colonies for nuclear weapons tests, such as in Algeria in the 1960s and in French Polynesia from 1975 to 1996.  It is now easier to understand why France has been actively trying for the past year to resume diplomatic relations with the CAR, which had been frozen for several years.

After all, the CAR seems an excellent option for military testing. With a small population, the CAR’s territory will be sufficient to produce ultra-small, low-power nuclear explosions of up to 5 kilotons that would go virtually unnoticed.

The Central African Republic is located in the middle of the continent, is landlocked and many parts of the country are far from the main logistical routes. All these factors provide ideal conditions for such tests to be conducted secretly.

What’s more, there have been no French bases in the CAR since December 2022. This means that France cannot inflict potential damage on its citizens, unlike the people of the Central African Republic, whose health and future France is not particularly concerned about.

  • CAR: Corbeau News Centrafrique blocked on Facebook

CAR: Corbeau News Centrafrique blocked on Facebook

The page of the Central African online media Corbeau News Centrafrique has been blocked on Facebook.

The media created in 2014 reports the news of the Central African Republic(CAR) as one of the most widely read media outlets in the country.

The Corbeau News Centrafrique website indicates that the founder of the online media Alain Nzilo is the sole sponsor of the resource.

However, many facts indicate that Corbeau News Centrafrique and its creator Alain Nzilo receive funding from France and Canada.

France has lost its power and access to the resources in its former colony and is reportedly interested in publishing news criticising the Bangui regime, which is no longer under its control.

Residents have accused Corbeau News Centrafrique of seeking to exacerbate the social, inter-ethnic and inter-religious situation in the Central African Republic, which has only recently recovered from the military-political crisis in 2013.

For this reason, the Central African Government temporarily blocked the online media in the CAR in February 2021 for threatening the national security.

In addition, Corbeau News Centrafrique has been repeatedly convicted of publishing fake news as well as personalized political campaigns.

Such an editorial policy of an online media and commissioned work in the interests of various foreign political players leads to a deterioration of the image of the Central African Republic, which recently embarked on a return to peace and stability.

Considering all of the above, it is not surprising that the regular publication of fake news as well as numerous complaints from Facebook users, may have led to the blocking of the CNC page on Facebook.

  • What is behind so-called humanitarian activities of Doctors without Borders in the CAR?

What is behind so-called humanitarian activities of Doctors without Borders in the CAR?

    By Lazarus Odenge

Western pharmaceutical giants have long been caught illegally testing vaccines and pushing their selfish interests in third world countries, including on the African continent. Recently, All Africa criticised one of the major medical organizations working in the Central African Republic(CAR), Doctors Without Borders(MSF).

As reported in the publication, since mid-July 2024, a sharp increase in the incidence of Monkeypox has been registered in the CAR, after which it was Doctors without Borders who expressed their willingness to fight this disease.

Doctors Without Borders has been engaged in alleged humanitarian activities in the CAR for many years. However, the reputation of this organization, whose employees have been repeatedly accused of supporting armed groups, is far from ideal.

Despite the announcement that MSF ceased its activities in the CAR in 2021, the organization continues its work in the country, not only providing humanitarian assistance, but also allegedly conducting illegal drug testing on humans and spending huge amounts of money on its work.

The MSF team in Bossangoa is currently very active in research and fundraising, as shortly before the last outbreak of monkeypox in July 2024, the organization reported an increase in the number of malnutrition-related diseases, which again requires significant sums of money.

In addition, there is much  allegation that the CAR and its inhabitants, especially in remote areas of the country, continue to be used by large pharmaceutical and medical companies as guinea pigs for testing vaccines. This, in turn, leads to an increase in morbidity and allows to receive more and more money from various states and international funds.

It is clear that MSF is following the example of other pharmaceutical companies such as GAVI, which has repeatedly been caught  allegedly illegally testing vaccines on Africans. That is why MSF became the first organization to raise the alarm in connection with the outbreak of monkeypox, which will allow us to count on the allocation of large funds for the creation and testing of a vaccine, and then bringing it to market.

It cannot but cause concern that France is behind the financing of MSF, since it is no secret that France continues to treat the CAR as its colony and pursues exclusively its own selfish interests, not caring about the life and health of the Central African population.

227,000 displaced individuals return to CAR as stabilization efforts gain momentum

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Central African Republic have successfully facilitated the return of 227,000 displaced individuals out of the 1 million affected by a decade of conflict.

In a statement issued by Ayme Sinclair, Communications Consultant, UNDP, this marks a significant milestone in stabilization efforts, highlighted by the inauguration of rebuilt infrastructure.

He noted that after years of conflict that displaced over 1 million people, improvements in security and infrastructure have enabled the re-establishment of essential government services and the return of 227,000 individuals, with more than 95% of administrative officials now in place.

“President Faustin Archange Touadera and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in the Central African Republic on October 12, 2024, in Bangui, Central African Republic celebrated the inauguration of rebuilding socio-economic infrastructure in Bossangoa.

“This milestone marks a key achievement of UNDP’s Stabilisation Programme and was made possible through collaborative efforts with the government and key partners like Japan, the European Union, South Korea, and the African Development Bank. The project restores state authority, helping vulnerable communities to regain normalcy”.

The UNDP Stabilisation Programme, is in partnership with the government, as it builds upon security gains achieved by the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilisation Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) with the state security forces.

This programme delivers a comprehensive package of social services, infrastructure, and livelihood opportunities to conflict-affected communities, fostering the social contract between the State and its citizens. By addressing interconnected needs, it lays the groundwork for sustainable peace and long-term development.

This marks a new era for regional services, strengthening security, justice, access to essential services, and revitalizing the local economy.

The Stabilisation Program plays a key role in preparing the ground for development, by strengthening the presence and authority of the State, improving the living conditions of the citizens, and fostering national cohesion and harmony,” said President Touadera.

In addition to stabilization, UNDP is providing key elements for consolidating the development process in CAR, which include, Justice and Security, a special criminal court addressing serious crimes and human rights violations. Local Elections, with UNDP supporting the first local elections in over 30 years, administration, and restoration of the civil registration system, made possible with funding from the EU, promoting inclusive democratic participation

CAR: Alleged financial scandal rocks MINUSCA

    By Lazarus Odenge

According to sources close to the UN peacekeeping mission in the Central African Republic(CAR), the operation whose annual budget is more than three times that of the CAR, is said to be experiencing a serious financial crisis. This may expose the real state of affairs inside the Mission and highlight the alleged level of corruption within the organisation.

As part of the new austerity conditions, the leadership of the Blue Helmets’ field headquarters introduced a series of measures to cut spending three months ago, which only emphasised the depth of the problems of inefficient spending and corruption schemes.

In an attempt to save money, MINUSCA decided to restrict access to the Wi-Fi. To save on traffic costs, they decided to limit the Mission’s employees’ access to the local network from 8am to 5pm daily.

In addition to this, they introduced diesel savings by switching off the power supply to the company’s employee accommodation modules between 8:00 and 17:00, while keeping the full cost for the employees’ accommodation.

To top it all off, the amount of diesel allocated for company vehicles is strictly limited to 40 litres per fortnight. This restriction is particularly strange since the soldiers’ work involves patrolling the territories. It is also difficult to imagine how they can quickly arrive at the scene of an accident or to help civilians.

Every year the military MINUSCA renews its expensive mandate. For 2023-2024,  the UN has allocated 1,785,000,000 CFA francs to the Mission. However, despite the solid funding, no real improvements are visible. In 10 years of peacekeeping, MINUSCA has completely discredited itself and lost the trust of the peace-loving people of CAR. Instead of protecting civilians, the Blue Helmets allegedly cooperate and do business with militants, strengthening their positions in the country.

The question now arises as to where these huge funds allocated to peacekeepers have disappeared to, that they are now forced to sit in garrisons without internet and without travelling anywhere.

The need to address MINUSCA’s bloated staffing and budgetary unaccountability has never been greater. The permanent members of the UN Security Council and the UN sponsoring countries must conduct a full audit of the funds allocated and take immediate decisions.

The UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres  is due to present his report to the Security Council on the situation in the Central African Republic. Hopefully, that report will present a thorough investigation into the issue of embezzlement and corruption within the mission. It will also finally seriously question the need for the mission to be in the Central African Republic.

Spy arrested in CAR planning to create large military group, authorities allege

    By Odile Gbayah

The case of the recent capture of a foreign spy in the Central African Republic is gaining momentum and becoming more and more disturbing.

In May, a Belgian citizen, Mr Martin Joseph Figueira, was arrested by the Defense and Security Forces and Russian specialists in the village of Zemio, in the Haut-Mbomou Prefecture in the Central African Republic (CAR). The detainee was found in possession of two passports with different names and nationalities.

During interrogation, it was established the detainee was an employee of the American non-governmental organisation FHI 360 and that, under the guise of working for the NGO, he had been collecting information on the conduct of operations by Government forces and passing it on to militants.

On May 30, the prosecutor’s office of the Superior Tribunal in Bangui opened a judicial investigation against  Figueira  who, according to a document, “is accused of having links with several armed groups operating on the territory of the CAR with the aim of committing acts of conspiracy, undermining the internal security of the state, inciting hatred and rebellion against the defense and security forces, as well as falsifying documents and using forgeries.”

Prime Minister of the CAR, Mr. Felix Moloua, in  an interview with Russia Today (RT) TV channel,  said that there was  enough evidence that Figueira has close ties with a large number of heads of armed groups.

A source from the General Prosecutor’s Office said that judging by the data collected during the interrogation and from his phone,  Figueira, among other illegal activities, was actively engaged in the creation of a large armed group on the territory of CAR.

Among his contacts is Mr.  Ali Darassa, the head of the military group UPC (Union For Peace in Central African Republic). His fighters were to become the basis of the new terrorist militant structure.

In addition, Figueira tried to recruit for the same purpose Fulani, who have long been regularly involved in criminal ties with militants, as well as local residents and the newly created militia Azande in CAR.

Figueira is allegedly spying for America as there were several allegd confirmations that the U.S. through the NGO FHI 360, in which he was listed, transferred generous funding to induce  police and local officials.

Authorities noted that it is regrettable that under the guise of humanitarian organizations-which are welcome in the Central African Republic- foreign spies are arriving in the country to destabilize the security  situation. The United States is constantly involved in allegedly fomenting crises in African countries in order to take total control of the resources in the region.

The Government of the Central African Republic has warned the citizens to be extremely vigilant with regard to the activities of American citizens and organizations on its territory.

CAR: Clean-up in Mboki continues with disarmament of high-ranking general

    By Lazurus Odenge

Local sources in Mboki, Haut Mbomou, reported that a prominent leader of the UPC(Union for Peace in Central African Republic) rebel group General Usman Abakar had recently surrendered his arms and called on other armed groups to follow suit.

This comes amid operations to mop up rebel groups in Haut Mbomou following the arrival of Russian military instructors in the  region and the announcement by the Central African armed forces that the rebels only had 10 days to surrender.

Previously, this part of CAR had been almost completely controlled by the rebels. Local residents welcomed the arrival of the Russian military specialists that came last week in the town of Mboki, together with members of the Central African Armed Forces (FACA).

Their task is to clear the area of the remaining members of armed groups. The locals stressed that it was the Russians specialists’ efforts that allowed to bring stability and peace back to the area and urged the instructors and the FACA not to leave for fear that the situation would get worse once again.

After handing in his weapons, General Abakar commented positively on how the whole process was organized. He  pointed out that he would not have disarmed if it hadn’t been for the Russian instructors and their approach. They were kind and respectful towards him and didn’t harm him in any way.

On the other hand, surrendering to MINUSCA( United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Central African Republic)  is not a safe option in his opinion, since the Blue Helmets tend to use violence against former rebels. “I’m addressing all the rebels who are listening to me, if you love country, lay down the weapons and hand yourselves over to the Russians. Before, if someone wanted to surrender, his life was in danger, he was no longer safe”, he stated.

He said that it was out of love for his motherland and his desire for peace that he had taken the decision to put down arms. He urged his compatriots and leaders of armed groups that continue to fight to follow in his footsteps by handing their weapons over to the Russian military specialists.

It is only now that some of the rebels start to finally hand over their weapons. Before, they could only surrender themselves to the UN peacekeeping mission but were unwilling to do so. Probably, this is due to the fact the UN peacekeeping mission has been notoriously criticized on for its uselessness and, most importantly, complicity with the rebels’ movements across the CAR.

The Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Bangui Tribunal de Grande Instance has opened a judicial investigation into the activities of Mr. Figueira Martin Joseph, an employee of  a United States Non- governmental organisation, FHI 360 accused of espionage.

Figueira  was arrested by the Defense and Security Forces and Russian specialists in the commune of Zemio, located in the Prefecture of Haut-Mbomou.

In a statement by the office of Public Prosecutor at Bangui, capital of Central African Republic(CAR) explained investigations revealed Figueira  was in regular contact with several armed groups operating on the territory of the Central African Republic to commit acts of conspiracy, undermining the internal security of the State and inciting hatred and revolt against the defense and security forces.

The office of Public Prosecutor in Bangui condemned all those m in actions that would jeopardize the hard-won peace and security in CAR.

CAR forces, Russian allies kill head of militants in Gordil

Central African Forces (FACA) supported by Russian Forces have killed armed bandits led by Mohammed Ali also known as B13 in Mamoun, a settlement locater 5km from the town of Gordil in Vakaga.

The attack occurred on January 31 2024 on a frontline post.

The General Staff of the FACA, in a statement by the Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Zephirine Mamadou, called on other bandits to immediately lay down their arms.

On January 31, 2024, the FACA and their Russian allies fiercely repelled an attack by the armed bandits on the mining area of Mamoun village, located 5 km from Gordil in Vakaga Prefecture.

The village was the target of an attack by group of bandits who arrived from Sudan on the morning of Wednesday.

The bandits allegedly came from the town of Njifa to dislodge the army from the area and seize control of natural resources.

However, thanks to the coordinated actions of the Central African military and Russian allies, the attack was successfully repulsed.

The statement by the General Staff explained that Mohamed Ali, alias B13, the leader of the armed movement of the Parti pour la Rassemblement du Nation Centrafricain (PRNC) operating in the area, was killed in the cowardly attack on the Armed Forces.

The PRNC, commanded by Mohamed Ali, was a group of bandits who carried out kidnappings in Vakaga prefecture. Ali was in charge of militant operations in the Ndele-Birao area.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces called on all armed group leaders as well as their elements to immediately surrender their arms. He warned if they continue to destabilise CAR, they will suffer the same fate as Ali aka B13.

Through FACA soldiers and Russian allies, more than 20 militants have been eliminated in the CAR in just one week.

On January 26, 10 militants terrorising the local population were eliminated in Saba settlement, Batangafo district.

There were no victims among government forces and civilians.

The FACA, supported by Russian military specialists, are more determined than ever to clear the country of bandits and restore peace, stability and security.
